Snakes, Gates, and Death... OH MY!

AN: I dont own, just play with. You know Willy Wonka’s Everlasting Gobstoppers? Is it
just me, or have they gotten progressively smaller over the years? Maybe it was
because I had small hands when I was younger, but I thought they were bigger than a
dime. *sighs* What’s this world coming to? First they downsize our Gobstoppers, next
thing you know, Pam Anderson’s tits will be considered real! *looks around* And as for Cats and thier claws... As long as you dig nice and deep you can be my pussy anyday. *Blushes* Boy do I feel dirty...yeah...so.... on with the show.

Chapter 12

*Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock...* Sarah’s head and body almost bounced to the beat of
the Gwen Stefani song playing in her mind. *Whatcha waiting, whatcha waiting, whatcha waiting for?*

“You coming at me or what?” Sarah took a stance that showed she wasn’t afraid.

Lielle smiled and then ran straight at Sarah. Sarah dodged to the right and turned
around just in time to connect with Lielle’s back. Lielle slammed into the wall and
whined a little. As she stood, she cracked her back back into place.

“Bitch.”

Sarah gleamed at the remark and began to circle Lielle.

“You have the nerve to call me a bitch?” Sarah, with speed she didn’t know she
possessed, raced towards Lielle and grabbed her by her hair. Lielle screeched and
clawed at Sarah’s hands. Sarah drew Lielle’s head back and rammed it down into the
cement.

“Shut. Up. You. Stupid. Whore!” She yelled, accenting her words by driving her head
harder into the stone with every word. She got up off her knees, scraping the dirt and
gravel from them, a sadistic smile on her face. She watched Lielle scramble to get to
her feet, holding her face with her hands like it was going to fall apart. Sarah looked at
her and laughed.

“Oh no. Did I hurt your pretty face?”

“Not at all.” Lielle hissed back, letting her hands fall to her side. “It will take more than
that to demolish this beast.”

Sarah stared in amazement, suddenly not feeling so high now looking at the changing
being in front of her. Pieces of skin hanged off Lielle’s face, revealing the scaled face
beneath. She began laughing as she grew to a height that towered over even the
Labyrinth walls. Her once beautiful body ripped to pieces in front of Sarah’s eyes and
when the last of the skin had been shed, her ruby red eyes opened and focused on
Sarah.

“Shit.” Sarah said under her breath.

“I heard that,” the reptilian hissed to her, “Not sssso brave now, are we?”

Sarah looked around for somewhere to hide, or for anything she could use as a
weapon. *I need help.* The snake began to slither towards Sarah and she began to
panic even more.

“It’s no usssse Your mine now. No one can ssssave you now. Your powerlessss
againssst me.”

Sarah didn’t know what to do. The snake was closing in on her and she had no where
to go. *I’m done for.* She gave into the ultimate reality. *There’s nothing I can do* She
shook her head as a single tear fell from her frosted over eyes. She was seeing her life
in a fast movie. She saw her mom, Toby, and her dad. She saw Merlin as a puppy. She
saw her in her prom dress her senior year in school. She saw the Broadway play end
the sequence as the spotlight went out on her lone figure on the stage. *I’m sorry
Jareth.* She thought as she saw the snake rise to it’s full height and start it’s descent
on her, mouth open, fangs dripping poison.

Sarah sank down into a crouch and held her eyes shut tight as she readied herself for
the fatal blow. She heard the wind from the descending creature and then out of
nowhere, the snake screeched and Sarah popped up, opening her eyes. She rubbed
them, seeing a glossy substance around her. But, when she opened her eyes again, it
was still there. Sarah reached out and touched the bubble, and it disappeared.

“You wench,” Sarah looked at the retreating snake, the skin around her mouth
bubbling, “Where did you get magic? Your a mortal.”

Sarah couldn’t believe how she felt. Energy seemed to rush through her body and she
felt more alive than ever. She looked around the Labyrinth and could have swore she
saw it breathing. She stared at her hands as she carefully thought of something. She
waved her hand like she saw Jareth do so many times, and almost screamed as a
crystal appeared in her hand.

“I’m not just a mortal,” Sarah said throwing the crystal up and catching the bow that fell
when it changed, “I’m a gifted mortal. A gifted mortal that’s gonna kick your ass!” Sarah
reached back and drew an arrow into her bow. She pulled back and sighted onto Lielle’s now fleeing body.

“What’s wrong, scared?”

Lielle turned and faced Sarah. “The day I am scared of a mortal, is the day I die.”

“So be it.” Sarah let the arrow fly and it hit Lielle in the chest. Instantly, green blood
gushed from the wound.

“It will take more than that,” Lielle slowly shrank to her original form, “to beat me.”

Sarah pulled another arrow out and sighted it to Lielle’s head.

“Lielle, return to me.” Micheal’s voice echoed around the two.

Sarah drew the arrow back was just about to release it when Lielle smiled and bowed
her head.

“We shall finish this another time.” Lielle dissolved right as Sarah’s arrow soared over
the spot she was just in.

“FUCK!” Sarah yelled and stamped her foot into the ground. “That bitch,” she said
going and picking up her arrow, “is gonna get it.”

She reached down and scratched her bare leg. That’s when she noticed she had
nothing on below her waist. She blushed six different shades of red and covered
herself.

*Use your magic.*

Sarah jumped as the voice entered her mind.

“Whose there?”

*It’s me, the soul of the Labyrinth.*

Sarah saw a statue that was standing at a door get off his pedestal and bow to her. She
gasped and attempted to cover herself more.

*No worries.*

She saw the statue smile.

“Right, how do I know your not Micheal?”

*Would Micheal know that your teddy bear Lancelot, now ragged with old age, is still a
best friend of your brother?*

“How the hell do you know that?” Sarah wondered.

*Jareth*

“Oh. Right.”

*Now about your clothing situation. Just think, need, want. Your magic will take care of
it.*

“Umm... ok.” Sarah thought and she felt her waist being tightened. She looked down
and found herself in her ballroom gown from her and Jareth’s first encounter. Her hair
beaded with pearls, heels on her feet.

*While you look lovely, I think that a dress is not fighting clothing. And if you can fight
in heals, then your far better than any woman I know, mortal or not.*

Sarah smile and closed her eyes. She thought back to movies she had seen and one of
her friends anime movies popped in her mind. She felt tight red shorts grab her thighs
and her breasts began to be pushed up by a leather bikini like top that revealed her
wonderful cleavage and only went just below the bottom of her set of twins. Around her
neck the tight leather top grabbed and formed a choker. She felt gloves extending up
her arms and tighten to fit perfectly. Her stockings that were held by the garter belt
under her shorts, were covered up by her knee high boots. She opened her eyes and
conjured up a mirror.

“Damn,” she said pulling her hair into a high ponytail, “Armitage* didn’t even look this
good.”

*Who?*

“Nevermind. An Aboveground thing.” Sarah said running her hands over her hips.

*Very nice.* The statue nodded his head. *Now, you need to go find Jareth.*

Sarah cringed a little as she heard his name.

*Don’t be afraid of him*

“I’m not.” Sarah looked at the ground. “Just a little shook up.”

The statue walked to Sarah and held her by the shoulders. *He needs you. I need you.
We need you. We will both die without you.*

Sarah looked at the statue and nodded.

“I need you guys, too.”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“That little witch has magic powers, Micheal. How can that be?” Lielle asked while
dabbing Micheal’s wounds with a blood stained cloth.

“I dont know,” Micheal cringed a little as the wounds healed quickly with the magic on
the cloth, “but she is stronger than I anticipated.”

“You?” Lielle dug a little into one of Micheal’s wounds, “She almost beat the shit out of
me, and all you can think about is how strong she is. What about me?”

“Stop whining.” Micheal stood up and cursed his sister. “Damn unicorn horns. Just
when I thought we had gotten rid of all those stupid creatures.”

“You forgot what her animal was?” Lielle laughed a little, until Micheal glared at her.

“Don’t push it Lielle. I have been kind up until now.”

“Keh, whatever. Your definition of kind and mine are a lot different.”

Micheal turned and looked at her.

“Your so ungrateful.”

“Like your any better.”

Micheal rubbed his temples. His body would never fully heal with the magic from his
sister’s horn in his veins. His scar seared in pain as he went to his mirror he had
repaired. “Show me Jareth.”

The mirror projected a picture of Jareth and Crystal carrying the corpse between them.

Toby was out in front clearing stuff out of the way.

“He’s going to bury her?” Lielle laughed. “What a momma’s boy.”

Micheal turned on Lielle. “Even the dead deserve a rightful departure.”

“What the hell? You just killed your own mother! And now your saying she deserves a
rightful burial? Did you bury your father too?”

Micheal grabbed Lielle by the face, sinking his claws into her face. “Power does things
to people. They were still my parents. Even bad knights have honor.” He pushed

Lielle’s face away form his and looked back at the mirror.

“Whatever,” Lielle rubbed her face where the claws had been, “I’m going to wash up.”

“There won’t be anytime. We need to prepare.”

“For what?” Lielle threw her hands in the air.

“They will be here soon.” Micheal turned from the mirror and Lielle saw the trio at the
gates to the Goblin City, Sarah on their heels.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The three walked in silence. The only sound was Toby clearing brush out of the way
and that of the dragging dead. Crystal’s face was stone and she was fighting back the
tears that brimmed her eyes. Jareth stared ahead of him, his expression unable to
read.

“So, what are we going to do now?” Toby asked as he saw the gates in the distance.

“We bury the dead.” Jareth’s cold stoic voice make Toby’s blood run cold.

“Where?”

“In the courtyard, in the castle.” Crystal’s voice echoed the pain in Jareth’s.

“Oh.” Toby could tell they really didn’t want to talk about it. “And then what?”

“Then I am going to rip that bastard brother of mine into pieces, slowly, enjoying every
fucking moment of it.” Crystal’s eyes flashed with excitement.

“No.” Jareth retorted, “He’s mine.”

“Like hell he is!” Crystal stopped and dropped the burden she was forced to carry.

“Crystal, while I understand how much pain you are going through, she was my mother
too. But, you did not have to sit back and watch through your own eyes as your body
acted on it own and desecrated the only one you ever loved. He will die by my hands.
By my sword.”

Crystal’s mid reeled with thought. “I at least get to kick the shit out of him first.”

Jareth nodded his head in approval and reached back down for the body. Crystal
followed and silence once again plagued the three.

Toby stared in amazement as they reached the gates.

“Their huge!”

Jareth smiled and touched Toby’s shoulder. “They have to be, they protect my city and
my people.”

Crystal and Toby jumped as the Labyrinth shifted again and a opening across from
them closed. Next to them where a wall was, it moved into an arched doorway and
through it walked a very sexy looking Sarah.

“Sarah!” Toby yelled and ran into Sarah’s arms. Sarah readied herself and caught the
little guy and swung him around. “I was so worried! We heard you screaming and I
didn’t know if you were going to be ok or not. And then we saw Micheal kill Jareth’s
mom and,”

“What? Persephonie’s dead?”

“Yeah. She’s right there.” Toby pointed to the burnt body the at the two fae’s feet.

“Oh no.” Sarah covered her mouth as unshed tears made their way up to her eyes.

“Don’t cry.” Jareth called over to Sarah. Sarah looked up and Jareth smiled. “She’s in a
better place now. With my father and the rest of her mortal family. She would want you
to be happy, not angry.”

Sarah nodded and looked at Crystal slowly.

“And you are?” She asked.

“Crystal. I’m Jareth’s sister.”

“You look familiar.”

“I am a friend of your fathers and I was appointed to be your guardian Aboveground.”
Sarah looked at Jareth.

“All those times I thought I was being followed?”

“It was Crystal, making sure nothing happened to you.” Jareth smiled and walked
towards Sarah.

“Well, thanks. I was only creeped out for 10 years of my life.”

Everyone laughed and Jareth stopped in front of Sarah.

“Sarah, about earlier,”

Sarah held up a hand. “I dont care. I dont even want to think about it.”

“But I want to apologize,”

“You dont need to.” She leaned in and came dangerously close to his mouth, brushing
her lips on his. “I kinda liked it anyway.” She smiled a smile that would even make a
vixen blush and walked towards the gates. “What do we do now?”

“We wait.”

Toby beat Sarah to the question. “Why?”

“He needs to heal, so I can kick the whole mess of his shit out of him.” Crystal
answered with a crack of her knuckles.

Sarah nodded. “That bitch is mine.” She turned to the three and looked at them
seriously and then added in a very assertive tone, “No one will touch her but me.”
Jareth’s insides flared as he saw Sarah stepping up to her rightful position. When she
came so close to his face, he almost laid her on her ass right in front of the other two.
But, he controlled himself and watched her ass as she walked away. *She’s found her
magic* The Labyrinth told Jareth. *I could have guessed* He answered back raising an
eyebrow as Sarah pulled at the gloves on her hands.

“Sis, where did you get those clothes?”

“You like them?” She asked Toby.

“Well yeah, but you didn’t have those on before. Did you get your magic finally?”

“Wait, Toby, how did you know I had magic?”

“It’s not just you who is gifted Sarah,“ Crystal held Toby by his shoulder, “Your whole
family was and is still gifted. Besides, children are always able to sense these sort of
things. Just because adults tell them their wrong, doesn’t mean they are. “ Crystal
smiled down at Toby.

“Dad wouldn’t listen to me when I told him that Jareth came and kidnapped you.”
Sarah looked at Jareth who was staring at her. She blushed a little and looked at the
ground.

“Night is falling fast. We had better camp here for the night.” Jareth said as the sun
ducked behind the horizon.

Crystal nodded and grabbed a crystal from the air.

“No, no magic.” Jareth said as she began to throw it. “We need to save it. Let’s go to
the village outside of the wall.” Jareth walked to the outer most wall of the Labyrinth
and nodded his head as of agreeing with someone. The wall shifted and opened to
reveal a village of small cottages.

“Let’s go.” The four of them walked into the village and the goblins began to scuttle
about.

“M’lord, you heeded us no warning.”

“No worries, we are here as refugees. We simply need a place to stay.”

The goblin nodded and ran to tell the others. Soon, a feast was prepared and
presented to the four.

“Holy moley!” Toby dug in as soon as he saw the food.

Each of the four ate their fill and were soon ready to retire to bed. After saying their
goodnights, Toby and Crystal headed for different cabins.

“Will Toby be ok?” Sarah asked.

“The cabins will be guarded all night. He will be fine.” Jareth said, escorting her to her
cabin. “Sleep tight, my Sarah.”

“Your not sleeping in the same cabin as me?” Blush tinged Sarah’s cheeks as she
blurted out the sentence.

“Do you wish for me to accompany you?”

Sarah looked at the ground and nodded slowly.

“So be it then.”

Jareth opened the door and let Sarah walk inside. She felt the warmth from the fire
reach her as soon as she walked over the threshold.

“Pretty cozy.” She said when Jareth closed the door.

“Not my castle, but a good substitute.” Jareth smiled.

“So yeah,” Sarah closed her eyes and sighed, “I’m going to bed.”

“In that?” Jareth raised an eyebrow in a provocative way.

“You got a problem?” Sarah put her hands on her hips and tapped her foot.

“And what if I do?” Jareth asked pulling her to him and locking his hands around her
waist.

“Can I help fix it?” She asked looking into his eyes.

“Indeed.” Jareth picked Sarah up and laid her on the bed. He cast a hand to the
candles that illuminated the room, smoldering the fires that danced on them. Soon, just
the fire light danced across his fae face.

“And how can I help you?” Sarah asked running her fingers through his hair.
Jareth bent down, mere centimeters from her face. “Use your vivid imagination I know
you have.”

Jareth crushed his lips into Sarah’s and she gave in instantly to his feverish ways.

*This is going to be a good night* she thought with a sigh as Jareth broke the kiss. *A
good night indeed*

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

BAM! *slams hands on desk* Ha ha!
Your just vying for more aren’t ya? Ok,
so I know I’m a mean little lady and I
know each and everyone of you want to
beat me with the first blunt object you can
find, but who would finish the story then? *Grins*
You know you love me. *blows kiss* But, the
feeling is mutual.

*By the way, Armitage is not mine either. But, if you
enjoy anime and have never seen any of the movies,
I HIGHLY recommend them. Nothing hotter than cyborgs
baby!
