Chapter Twelve: Briefing
“I am Agent Parker. I apologise for the somewhat rude awakening. Each one of you will be called and escorted to my office over the next hour to use the phone, because you are to be kept here for three weeks. No contact with civilians. You will be trained and tested, and you will follow my commands. No questions. Everything is done my way. No highway option. You will learn combat, tracking skills and will be trained in the art of shooting. After these three weeks, you will be sent out on an assignment to see how you handle yourselves in the field.” Agent Parker scanned the room, his piercing blue eyes stopping on Sands, making eye contact, “Welcome to the CIA, Gentlemen.”
