Chapter 12


Alia pushed at the rippling chest above her that was dripping with moisture as it contracted from the exertion to satisfy Shadow’s need. She arched her back and neck and cried out as he thrust inside her body stretching her painfully. Shadow growled and began to slam inside of her as deeply as her body could allow. Her nails dug into his chest and she screamed his name in pleasure.

Lance looked at the False. “They’ve been at this for six hours. He might be doped up with chemicals but she isn’t”

Brian held the last of the darts in his hand. “This would slow him down so she could rest.”
“She is ovulating. He will not tolerate anyone near her.” False clicked towards Lance.

“What did he say?” Josh asked.

“He said that it’s getting good and Shadow aint stopping for anything.”

Cal frowned. “I’m sure he didn’t say those words but we understand.”

“We could distract him like last time?” Josh said to his group.

“I don’t think any of them are going to help us.” They looked over at Shadow’s clan.


Rito and Myx were resting and Sal’van was playing with his knife. False, Kayco and Eli were watching them.

“We can do this it’s what we do rescue. Who does he see as non-threatening?”

They looked at Marla.

Lance frowned. “I’m sorry but I could hit her instead of Shadow.”

“Lance we need you to be serious.”

Lance looked at his Captain as he loaded the dart gun. “I am being serious”

Marla frowned at Lance as he frowned at her.

“All we need you to do is get his attention and Lance will do the rest.”

Marla nodded and slowly headed for the rock enclosure. She could hear Alia moaning and could see Shadow through the small gaps between the stone slabs rapidly thrusting his body into her without the possibility of stopping.


Marla saw moisture dripping before her. She stopped, as Kayco and Eli were prone for attack.

“Just back away Marla” Cal said to her.

The two aliens hissed in anger as she backed.

Lance looked at Brain and Josh. “Animals can sense evil.”

“Brian he doesn’t see you as a threat.”

Brian nodded. “We should wait until he’s done.”


An hour had passed and now Alia was sobbing his name.


Lance lay on the cave floor staring at the rock ceiling trying to clear his mind for the shot. There was suddenly silence from behind the rock wall.


“Alright Brian.” Cal and Josh watched Shadow through the gaps as Brian noisily walked around the rock wall so Shadow would not be surprised to see him.


Lance took up a position so he could strike Shadow right in the jugular with the dart.
Myx and Rito watched intently as the Ooman walked around towards the opening. Shadow sat up looking at him.

“Hey how ya doing? I just came to see Alia.”

Shadow moved into Lance’s kill area and he took the shot.
The dart struck Shadow in the jugular and the big Yautja fell back with a thud. Brian nudged his boot with his. There was no reaction. He immediately went to Alia and picked her up.

Kayco and Eli would not allow Marla anywhere near Alia so Brian had to clean her up.

“I‘ll give her something for the pain I’m sure she’s in. I just hope it kicks in before he wakes up”

“We are moving when it gets dark so I hope he wakes up in an hour.” Cal said. Brian covered her body and carried her back to her place beside Shadow.

Marla walked over to Lance. “He’s going to crush you when he wakes up”

Lance smiled. “I know you would like that but Shadow and I have an understanding.”

Marla smiled. “What that you are an asshole.”

Josh looked at the two of them. They never got along even from the beginning they were always fighting and talking about hurting one another.

“Stop it you two we need cooperation.” Cal yelled at them.

Shadow woke and immediately reached for Alia. She was sleeping and she was clean.
He stood stretching his aching muscles.

“I think he’s up” Brian said noticing movement from Shadow’s clan.

Shadow came from the rock enclosure wearing the loincloth and vest signaling he was ready to move. Shadow looked at Lance and growled. Rito and Myx chuckled at the Ooman’s wide eyes and paling face. Marla smiled at his fear.


“He did it to help Alia.” Josh yelled over to Shadow. The growling ceased somewhat and ended all together when he heard Alia make a sound. Shadow turned and headed back to her. Alia smiled at the vibrations from his purring into her neck. He licked her neck and she giggled.

Rito appeared with some more of the Ooman clothing for her to wear. Shadow took them and Rito departed.

“We will have to scale this side of the cliff and then take the path back down to your vehicle.” False clicked to Lance. He nodded and went to inform his team.

Alia came from around the rock fully dressed and Shadow hovering around her. She smiled at his constant purring.

“Alright let’s get going.”

Alia laid her cheek on Shadow’s back as he easily scaled the cliff face even with her weight. Her arms surrounded his waist. Shadow purred at her.

“We will not be using any of the Oomans’ names for the baby. I will not tolerate a name like Lance.”

Alia began laughing against his muscled back. Shadow smiled and reached up the cliff for another claw grip into the rock.

“What about False?”

Shadow grunted. Alia laughed again. “No but remind me that I have to kill him for failing to mention how potent the chemicals in his body were and that I could be affected by their signals.”

“If not for False there would be no baby.”

Shadow smiled. “I could have had you anytime Alia. Remember you could not deny me your body.”

Alia smiled again. “My mother is going to kill you.”

Shadow grunted. “Your mother will love me as she already does.”

Alia chuckled. “Then my father will kill you.”

Shadow purred. “Are you so quick to get rid of me?”

Alia squeezed him tighter. “No I want to stay with you always.”


They reached the top of the cliff. Alia released Shadow and looked to see the others on the ground moaning in pain and Marla standing there with a gun. She aimed at Shadow and fired. He began to shake as electricity ran through his body. He fell to one knee growling at Marla. She increased the power and Shadow fell to the ground.

Alia kneeled to Shadow’s body trying to rouse him. Jack and some of the serum-induced army along with the General approached her. Alia stood and slowly backed away.

“We are not going to hurt you Alia.” He tried to touch her hair. Alia shoved his hand away. Jack smiled and forcibly picked her up. “It is a minor set back that you carry his seed but that will be corrected and my line will begin.”

Alia screamed in fear and tried to break his grip but it was impossible. Jack turned and walked down the hill with his prize.

The general looked at the army of 10. “Kill them all and return to the base.” He walked down the hill with Marla following.
