"You can guarantee that I will, Captain Sparrow, and you will be pleasantly surprised tomorrow." I replied, rubbing my hand on his belly. Jack kissed my forehead and closed his eyes. After a few moments, the flickering shadows on the walls cast a spell over me, and I soon fell into a much needed sleep.

During the short moments I slept, I felt the urge to wake up. For some odd reason, my body became restless...as if something was terribly wrong. I slowly opened my eyes and placed my arm on the other side where Jack slept. Instead of touching Jack's taut body, my hand touched the cold sheets. Startled, I quickly turned around and realized that Jack was gone...
