As Jack slowly made his way below deck, he could feel a headache stare to form right between his eyes. "That's all I bloody well need," He grumped to himself. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the dimness. When he could finally see properly, Jack sauntered over to where Elizabeth, Tia, and the whelp where huddled over the map.
"Anything interesting?" he asked, trying to keep his voice light and carefree.
"This map doesn't make any sense at all," Will grumbled, pushing some of his hair out of his eyes.
"Course it doesn't...that would make things too easy," Elizabeth said quietly, keeping her eyes focused solely on the map. Tia looked up briefly to Jack.
"Tia, love, why don't you come topside with me? I might be needed one of your er..remedies for this terrible pounding I have in my skull," Jack said while fidgeting nervously with one of his dreadlocks. Tia arched an eyebrow at him.
"Tis not everyday that wicked Jack be needing one of my remedies," she said sly, as she rose from the barrel she had been perched on. "Perhaps there be something more that..."
"Enough of that now, Tia," Jack said roughly. "Terrible, terrible pain in my head, and I need it fixed." Jack took her by the upper arm and started to walk.
"Iffen Jack wants Tia's help, den he better let go of her, lest she gets angry," Tia bit out as she pulled out of his grasp. Jack sighed and turned to face her. "Tia...please," he said softly, so that no one else would hear him. At his words, a curious look came to Tia's face. Jack never said please to anyone about anything. It must be something serious. "Lead the way," she said shortly, following him up the rickety stairs.
Once topside, Jack turned to look at her again. "Tia...did you come to my quarters earlier and give me something?" he asked seriously. Tia cocked her head at him before shaking her head. "Oh...bugger," Jack said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"S'why tis it so important iffen I came to your quarters," Tia asked, studying Jack's face intently.
"I...er....had a bloody realistic dream..hallucination...thing," Jack said, helplessly, tugging at his beard now.
"And what did dis dream show wicked Jack?" Tia had a mischievous gleam in her eye.
"It showed me.....well it bloody doesn't matter what it bloody well showed me!" Jack retorted before stomping away to head back to his quarters.
"Mebbe...it showed wicked Jack what he needed to be seeing," Tia said to herself as she touched a locket that was among her mass of jewelry. "Mebbe indeed...."
