In The Family
*************************6:00 PM, Toretto Residence*******************
The house if full of life, everyone is on time and Mia is content seeing all her family and friends there - thank God she had went food shopping the day before. She cooked lasagna, with a huge salad, garlic bread and regular bread rolls. Eva helped her with dinner but she was in charge of dessert. She baked a delicious chocolate cake, which she layered with chocolate and vanilla pudding, topping it with strawberries and whip cream. Dom keeps sticking his finger in the cake trying to get a taste, but Eva and Mia keep smacking his hand away.
"So where's your mystery date missy?" Leon asks smart assed.
"He'll be here Leon, thanks for your concern" her eyes shooting bricks at him.
"Well I'm starved let's eat!" Dom growls.
After they all sit and say a quick prayer they dig in.
Mini senses something wrong with her stomach "“ it must be the sauce in the lasagna. She feels queasy and her stomach starts turning in disgust. She doesn't want Mia to think she rejected her food so she excuses herself and goes outside to breathe some fresh air. Eva starts to get up to check on her but Dom stops her when he sees Vince follow her outside. Everyone continues to eat and talk over dinner when the doorbell rings. Letty is the first to get up.
"I'll get that!" she says glancing over to Eva. Quickly she makes her way to the door.
"Oh goodie he's here," Jesse says in a joking tone. Letty returns entering the dinning room first "“ she clears her throat to get everyone's attention.
"Guys I want you to meet someone you all know and the person I've been seeing for the past 3 months" she motions for him to come in the room.
Dod Evd Eva's eyes bulge out as far as they can. Coco and Lisa smile joyfully while Jesse and Leon try not to laugh.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Eva finally manages to blurt out.
"Oh man this is grand" Leon says laughing.
"Definitely worth the wait" Jesse adds, Lisa elbows him.
"You've been dating Letty for 3 months and couldn'en ten tell your own sister?" Eva says disappointed.
"We agreed on waiting until we were both ready." Oscar says walking over to Eva and kissing her forehead the same way Dom does to Mia.
"Exactly, I wanted to wait, make sure it was something real, you know" Letty walks in the kitchen to serve Oscar a plate of food.
"Well I for one am happy for you bro" Coco says standing and giving Oscar a hug. "That goes for me too" Lisa does the same. The guys shake Oscar's hand and he sits next to Letty. Eva is still giving them both a look, she begins to laugh hysterically and they both stare at her like she's crazy.
"Oh my God do you know what I just pictured? Your children, am I sick or what?" she digs back in her plate and now everyone is in a fit of laughter.
