Be. Be the one I need.
Be the one I trust most.
Don't make me want to give up.
One week later.
Jesse slammed his fists down on the hood of his vehicle and turned towards the garage, spotting Mia standing in the diner. With a sigh, the distressed mechanic made his way towards her, removing the beanie from his head as he sat down.
"How you doin', Mi?" He wondered, resting his elbows on the counter in front of Mia.
"I'm alright. You?" She asked with a smile.
Jesse looked up at her for a long moment before turning his attention towards the garage, "I'm okay." He lied, resting his head in his hands.
"You know I talked to Lora today and she's supposed to be coming over to pick up the Eclipse. Maybe you can talk to her?" Mia suggested, as Dom walked into the diner.
"I need four Corona's, Mi. You want something Einstein?" Jesse shook his head no, not bothering to look up at Dom. Mia nodded towards her brother and disappeared into the back.
"Jess, man. What are you thinkin'?" Dom asked, sitting down beside him at the counter.
"I don't know, Dom. I don't know what to do about anything. I'm going crazy without her."
Running a hand over his face, Dom sighed.
"She's going to come around, Jess. Don't worry. You messed up - she knows that and she'll forgive you." He tired, only to cause Jesse to stand up angrily.
"It's been a week, Dom. I've talked to her everyday since the day she came here to get her car fixed. Everything's just fucked."
Jesse pushed himself away from the counter and walked back towards his Mustang.

A yellow cab pulled up in front of the garage slowly, letting Lora out after she paid the driver.
"Hey, girl." Mia greeted, waving her towards the diner.
Lora smiled half-heartedly and made her way towards her friend. She was wearing baggy blue jeans and a tight fitting short sleeved t-shirt that said 'angelic' on it in red letters.
"Hey, Mi." She said softly, sitting down at the counter.
Mia looked up towards the garage and spotted Jesse standing over a vehicle, lost in thought as he tried to figure out what was wrong with it.
"How are you doing?" She asked, turning her gaze to Lora.
"I'm okay."
Mia laughed slightly, remembering Jesse's answer to the same question earlier. "Well, remember Hector from the races? He's throwing a huge party this weekend at this club and I want you to come. It will be fun."
Lora nodded, turning her head to the side and watching as Jesse made his way towards the diner, a piece of paper in his hands.
"Mi, I need you to order a carburetor for the Honda." He said, finally looking up from the papers in his hand. He was taken back by seeing Lora sitting at the counter, "Okay, Jess. I'll take those papers to Dom." Mia assured with a smile, grabbing the paper work and nearly running to give it to Dom who was sitting in the office.
"Lora, Hi." Jesse muttered nervously, searching his pockets for a cigarette.
"Hey." She murmured, looking him over.
"You here to pick up the Eclipse?"
Lora nodded at the question, taking a drink of her soda.
"Hey Lora."
Dom walked into the diner slowly, handing Jesse his papers back. "Harry said he can have one in by Monday." He assured, and Jesse nodded - walking back off into the garage without a word.
Dom turned towards Lora and pointed to the garage, "Come on, I'll get you the keys to the 'clipse."
