CHAPTER 13 – IT HAS BEGUN
CHAPTER 13 – IT HAS BEGUN
Mohave Desert – California
Marius gasped abruptly for air holding on to his bedside table, regaining his senses and ran to the main hall of the house.
“Marius… what the hell is happening… I felt a jolt all over, something overwhelming took control of me… I couldn’t breath!” Lestat was panting looking at Marius, Jesse right beside him as overwhelmed as him.
Lexus came in right that moment followed by Armand, Kayman and David. Lexus looked at Marius that nodded.
“So it has begun!”
“Yes Lexus, it has!” Marius replied. They were all very hedgy taken by a feeling none had felt before.
“What the hell is going on, I felt … I don’t know what I felt!! Can’t really describe it… but it was fucking unbelievable…” Lestat sighed
“Hey… get a grip huh! I’d like to think I am the one to get you insane in that field!” Jesse remarked.
“Jealous my eternal companion, you were panting all over and your body was waving in a very sexy way …and I WASN’T doing it either!” Lestat replied holding her strongly and kissing her.
“ Well…!” She said blushing “We can try and match that feeling!”
“Yes we can…!”
“Hey hold on your testosterone for a minute!” Armand snapped smiling slightly.
“Don’t tell me that wasn’t the biggest rush you’ve felt in ages?!” Lestat said mocking him.
“We’ve all felt it…!” Marius replied seriously.
“What was it?” Kayman finally asked
“Something has begun, the whole vampire nation must have felt it, some might have an idea what to think of it, some will think it was just a rush from a hunt or something!” Marius stated.
“Well, I guess you’re not gonna tell us, right? Some secrets are better left concealed until they revel themselves, right?” Armand smiled looking at Marius.
“Yes!” Marius looked at Lexus “You got to go my friend, be ready for anything… we might have to interfere on this…!”
“Let’s hope not, I wouldn’t want to have to deal with Chupa!” Lexus simply said.
“Well… it’s for the better! I know that and you know that!” Marius looked at all of them. “I’m counting on you all if we need you, when the time comes!”
They all look at Marius, they had no clue of what was going on, but Marius was wise, so they would follow with out a question.
“Of course!” Was the simple reply from the group. Lestat looked at Marius and Lexus “Of course… but what? What would we have to do, if needed?” he though blocking his mind from everyone present.
“Lexus… first thing you do when night falls… go to New York! Check out what is going on with our friend Chupa! We need to know exactly what happened!” Lexus nodded at Marius and they all left for their resting areas, to sleep… well, maybe not Lestat and Jesse, they had their heads set on matching that overwhelming, lustful and lovable feeling that invaded everyone’s mind and took them over.
