Totec's worst fear

Authoress note: Sorry sorry. I know it took me so long to update. But...I've been braindead on ideas, and workinf on other fics right now. Thanks for being patient.

Chapter fourteen: Totec’s worst fear.

The chatter was faint. As Cindy crawled out from under the piller. Coughing up debris. “ Butterball, Chatterer?” She muttered. Trying to call out for them. But she was weakened. Quickly she turned about.” Leviathen!” She ran over to a piece of ceiling collapsed on top of the God of Hell. There was no response from him.

“ We…were suppose to protect him.” Cindy muttered. Turning to the few remaining cenobites. Butterball and Chatterer. The Chatterbeast walked over to her and nuzzled his head against the hair of the dead God. Who even could not defeat Natla. How strong had her powers grown?

Tilting his head to open ceiling, upon the now red moon of hell, the chatterbeast howled. Once. The sound of the Chatterbeast brought a tear to Cindy’s eyes. Another howl, Chatterer and Butterball hung their heads in mourning. And the third howl. Echoed through Totec’s ears.

Glancing up from dining in the Doma Dininghalls, Xipe looked to the side, Tori sat eating and chatting with Freddy. At that moment, he felt something was wrong. He stood from his chair.” Darling.” Tori started.” What’s wrong?” She asked softly.

Her husband did not answer her. Only made his way towards Jedah. Where he knelt down. Jedah paused in talking and looked at him. Tori could see Totec’s mouth moving but did not know what was said. “ Something has happened.” She looked over at her mother. Angelique had spoken those words and caused worry in Tori.

And somehow, Tori felt it too. Jedah and Totec had made their way passed Marionette and Tori. Both wives curious.

“ This feeling you have, Totec. Is the same feeling I felt, when my sister attacked and nearly destroyed my people in order to force me to war.” Jedah said. As he and Totec made their way up the grand staircase. And down the halls into the master bedroom.

Upon entering, Totec’s black eyes fell upon the demonic looking body mirror across the entrance of the room. “ Mirror.” Jedah commanded firmly. A liquidated face rippled in the middle of the mirror.

“ My master you ask what of me?” The face’s voice echoed.

Jedah and Xipe approached it. Jedah spoke up,” You’ve the power of sight. Show us what occurred in Hell hours ago.” He demanded.

Without another word, the face disappeared. And there was the image of Natla, slaughtering the Cenobites. Proving her powers over the God of Hell. Forcing the entire throne room to collapse. As he watched this, Totec’s eyes widened slightly.

He was stunned. That he nor Jedah noticed Marionette and Tori in the doorway. Tori walked quickly over and pushed passed Jedah and stood beside her husband. “ If we do not act. Then your hell may not exist for long.” Marionette said.

Jedah turned and exchanged glances with his wife. Totec nodded in agreement.” Where are the babies?” He asked. With no reason. Or so the other believed.

“ In the room with Easter. They….should be asleep.” Tori said.

Totec went to the baby monitor on the nightstand by Jedah and Marionette’s bed and tried to get the attention of the nanny in the room.” Eassy.” He began. No answer.” Eassy.” He said again.

Jedah opened his mouth to speak. When over the monitor. He could hear the lazy moaning of a creature.” No.” Marionette muttered and took off down the hallway. Tori, immediately following. Totec and Doma not far behind.

Marionette screamed upon entering the room. Tori slid to a stop in the doorway. The balcony door was wide open, the room was trashed. Jedah’s red orbs fell upon the wondering Atlantian. And tossed a buzz saw at it. The spinning blade lopping it’s mindless head off.

Marionette searched the room for any clues to the whereabouts of the babies.

Only one.Totec lifted a piece of paper between his blood tipped fingers. His eyes skimming the words written. His anger rising.’What’s more important to you, Jedah? Humanity? Or the life of your child?’ Totec read outloud. Tossing the paper to the floor.
