A LIL DAB OF DEV

Dev had been obsessed with Lestat since the tender age of 14. She nearly drove her parents insane with her "Vamphase." She declared it her destiny. She lost a few friends but found some along the way. One in particular was Venessa a.k.a. Venom!! Her heritage was African. She had a strong accent that just drove the guys crazy. This mos def worked to her advantage. She and Dev clicked instantly. Dev quickly learned of Venom’s connections. She was the go-to girl in town. Venom introduced Dev into the underground world of "Vampdom."

By the age of 15, Dev started dating Stryker. A Bad a$$ "wanna be" vamp and fangsta. He was at the bottom of the food chain. She used him to climb that ladder. A year later, she dumped him and hooked up with his cuz, Viper. He was the lead fang member of "Acid Reign." Viper was a hot head but she put up with his crap because he had clout with Lestat’s clique. They had been together for two years. Being his girlfriend brought upon privileges. She and Venom would get invited to various parties and got to hang out at hot clubs. At one party, they got word that Lestat started hanging out at a sweet club called, Club Deep. They became regulars there just to get a glimpse of the mysterious man.

They became good friends with Beth, a bartender there. She was a vampire…with a soul. For nearly eight months straight the girls would go to the club thinking "this would be the night" but it never was. Dev’s Rid-day was approaching and she was just ecstatic. She had grown tired of her parent’s constant intrusions on her life. They totaly disapproved of her lifestyle but she didn’t care. She wanted to live out her destiny with Lestat by herside.

A week before her Rid-Day, the club had a contest going. This was a contest to win a date with Lestat. Once Beth found out, she immediately called Venessa.

"Oh My God B, you know Dev has to win that date," Venom hurled out.

"Girl I know, so what can we do?" Beth anxiously asked.

They talked for hours until they came up with the purrfect plan.

UNRESTRAINING ANGELUS

Angelus strolled to the shack after locking Riddick up. He was so carefree without a worry in the world. He had been freed from his hell. This was his time to shine and live it up. He entered the shack and Wes was up and at ‘em.

"Hey what’s up Wes?" Angelus asked.

"Uh nothing much..have u seen Kelly?" Wes asked.

"Yes I have. I asked her to check on Cordy because her vision suddenly became blurry when we woke up this morning," Angelus answered.

"I hope it isn’t serious," Wes managed to say as he rushed to Cordy’s room.

Angelus was on his a$$ in a flash. Once Wes opened the door it was all over. He couldn’t believe what he saw and the shock paralyzed him. Angelus took that opportunity to knock him out…cold. He then grabbed the rope he had in his pocket and tied Wes’ wrists together.

"What a sucker…never turn your back on me," Angelus smugly said.
He laid Wes down on the floor and walked out the room.

Four down..two to go, he thought.

Angelus walked down the narrow hall towards Gunn and Fred’s room. He knocked on the door and waited for a response. He heard mumbling and soon the door opened. It was a very tired Fred.

"Hey Fred, sorry to interrupt but could you lend Kelly a hand. Cordy’s having trouble with her vision and we don’t know why. While you ladies look after Cordy, the guys and I are going to look for food," he said so convincingly.

"What’s going on?" Gunn asked behind Fred.

Angelus explained it to him and apologized for intruded on them.

"Hey, do y’all need any help looking for some grub?" Gunn asked.

Angelus told him no and Gunn went back to sleep. Fred said goodbye to him and followed Angelus to Cordy’s room.

Damn, this is going to be easier than I thought, he thought with an unseen smirk.
