One Hell Of A Reuion
Chapter 16
Hannibal smiled and turned at the sound of Clarice's voice,
knowing it was the first time she called him by his first name.
Clarice looked find, less stressed then earlier, she looked
beautiful, even in what he considered normal clothes.
"Good
afternoon, Clarice." Hannibal replied. Clarice looked around the
kitchen, wondering what he was making. "What are you making?"
hoping it wasn't one of his tastes.
"Clarice, you know
you should have ask, it spoils the surprise." Hannibal said.
"But be that as it may, it's not one of the things I eat."
Hannibal reassuring Clarice. Clarice
smiled. Hannibal smiled back saying. "Why don't you go into the
dinning room, I'll bring lunch out.
Clarice went out to the
dinning room to see acouple of lit candles on the table, sort of
reminding her of the last meal they shared.
This was almost a romantic setting. She sat in one of the
chairs, really nervous, wondering what would happen afterwards,
secretly hoping it would lead back into the bedroom.
Hannibal
came out of the kitchen carrying two bowls
of what appeared to just be pain old tomato soup.
"Oh tomato soup, I haven't had it in years." Hannibal
looked at Clarice confused. "Why not Clarice?" Clarice
looked at Hannibal. "Because I'm always work and so busy with it
that I usually only get to eat fast food." Clarice confessed.
"Why Clarice, I'm offended that
you eat that kind of food. I don't consider it food."
Clarice
laughed at that, know at what kind of food he liked.
Both ate their soup in silence, wondering on what to do or say
next. Clarice was the first to speak up. "I'm surprised you
haven't ask the question yet."
Hannibal knew which
question that was. "The question being why are you still a
virgin? Yes I was wondering that and I'm guessing it went as far as
those fumblings in the back seats of cars?" Hannibal said in his
usual tone.
Clarice knew he wasn't being mean or putting her down. "It
did and I just wasn't interested in anyone at all, until
now.
Hannibal looked up with a somewhat shocked look on his
face. Clarice giggled. "I know your thinking why me, but your
the only person I know who doesn't treat me as an object, you treat
me like an equal. And somewhere in the seven years after you escaped,
I fell in love with you and I don't expect for you to feel the same
about me but."
Hannibal interrupted Clarice by kissing
her very passionately, his hands stroking her face and neck and hers
wrapping around his neck, pulling him closer.
The kiss ended and Hannibal said. "But your wrong, I'm in
love with you too." Clarice laughed and said. "I think the
kiss convinced me, Hannibal." Clarice looked at him nervously.
"Um what should we do now, I mean do we talk about it or go
upstairs?" "I leave that decision up to you my dear
Clarice." said Hannibal.
Clarice thought about it for
only a minute and said. "I'd like to
go upstairs and make love with you."
