The early afternoon sun was smiling down upon two ship that mpoved
on teh ocean back. The waves bobbed up and down the Grey lark and
the Black Pearl. The wedding was to be in an hour and there was
still so much, yet so litle to do. Some where, on one of the ships,
was a duck quacking maniacly.

William Turner did not wish to know why. He wished that the duck
had nothing to do with Jack and that it was naught but a figment of
his imagination.

He wished many things were figments of his imagnation.

Last night with Jack was not one of them.

The four pairs of kohl rimmed eyes staring at him and the bodies
attatched to them were things he did wish he had imagined.

"God save me from the darkest evil and all in laws," Will prayed
before moving forward to greet them.

"I'm Will. Jack, beign the superstitious coward that I love,
refuses to see me on our wedding day before the wedding so I'm
afraid that's his excuse for not being here to greet you."

He tried to remember all the advice everyone had given him about the
zSparrows but the only piece he co8uld remember was Gibbs shaking
him violently and yelling, "And what ever you do, don't mention
Singapore!" Frankly it had been frighteningly enough to stay
imbedded in Will's mind forever. The vision would haunt him until
his death.

The eldest woman of them all smiled kindly. She circled him twice
before embracing him in a motherly way. "I'm Darlene, Jack doting
mother, my youngest daughter has been hoping to get herself a quick
drink before the wedding, do you mind?"

Will relaxed instantly. After all, this was just Jack's family. he
gave the young child a kind smile, "What's your name darling?"

"Pearl," she said with the familiar cocky grin that had made Will
fall for Jack many, many times. And not always on soft ground. She
bounced off towards the stairwell, dark locks moving widly in a way
that seemed alive.

Darlene smiled wistfully, "Pearl wants to grow and be a pirate just
like her older brother. She'll be such a darling little cutthroat,
don't you think?"

Will made a mental note to retire from piracy before Pearl ever grew
old enough to be a ship captain. He made a second mental note to
make Jack retire as well.

The duck squelled and flew accross the deck in a flurry of
feathers. Will turned around to see what happened.

Shockingly enough, it calmed down once it threw itself in Commoddor
Norrington's arms. Will sniggered quietly for a moment, enjoyign
the sight.

He turned to face his soon to be inlaws with a smile on his face but
it soon disappeared when he felt a hand touching him in a place no
one other than Jack could ever touch.

"Vivian, make a mental note. 6.3 in size. Suberb physical
attributes. In the mental department...well not quite Sparrow
standards but then again, who is?" Darlene stated as she moved her
hand away to the young girl in her 20's wearing a cream colored
gown.

Wivian frowned, "Are you sure Aunt Darls? Let me check..." She
moved forward andd Will felt another hand replace the first but the
shock from the first time had not passed him.

"He seems more of a 6.5 actually," she told her Aunt.

Darlene frowned. "Are you sure? Alex, come over here and help us
check."

The smirking youngest quickly m,oved to help the dispute.

Pretty soon all member's of the Sparrow family were huddled around
the scandalized groom, attempting to discover his length by touch
alone.

It was quite the sight to behold, especially since many of the crew
members were easily amused or were busy attempting to silence a duck
which refused to be parted from Norrington.

A scream pierced the sounds of the crew and the Sparrow family.

"DEATH TO ALL CHAMPAGNE!!!!!!!!! OH MY DARLING RUM, HOW I MISS
THEE!!!!!!!!"

Will took the opertunity to run for his quaters in the moment of
distraction.

He chose to ignore the sounds of a barrel landing on water and the
fact that Jack had been the one screaming the words.
