SCARY TALES

It was 8am at Casa De Keith. He and Darla just sent their twins off for a playgroup. Mrs. Noble was such a sweetheart for picking them up so early that morning. Keith explained to her that they
would be very busy for a few days and she understood. Darla prepared the breakfast while Keith woke up his brothers.

Imam and David took their showers and prepared for today's events. Today, they would explain to Darla everything that's going on. Then, they'd start their Jack/Riddick Quest. Keith gave his wife a much needed helping hand with preparing plates for three grown a$$ men. They ate peacefully knowing that "The Talk" was headed their way. Afterwards, everyone pitched in to clean up the kitchen. Then
they gathered in the living room.

"Okay guys talk to me,” Darla said breaking the silence.

All eyes were beaming on Imam now. He cleared his throat, preparing for his long "Scary Tale.”

"Well Darla, it started a few months ago…” Imam began.

He continued on with his tale for 2hrs. From the crash-landing up until his arrival home finding it Jack-Less. Darla had a river of tears streaming down her face. Keith held her tight trying to console her. He tried to fight back his own tears but lost the battle as well. Most of the details were new to him too. He was completely shocked.

"Oh My God, Imam I'm so so sorry,” was all Darla could muster up.

Keith looked at Imam and said, "I'm sorry too man.”

Imam reached out and grabbed their hands.

"With all praises to Allah, Jack and Riddick will be found,” he said with a promise.

David looked at him and said, "So, let's get this quest underway.”

SHINNING JACK

Jack spent most of the day in her room. She managed to give Shine the slip after eating. She watched her favorite movies and experimented with her powers of Telekinesis. She did a little research and found out that's what it was called. Her powers began to extend to a few feet now. She heard a knock at the door, which interrupted her focus. The DVD for Bad Boys II fell to the floor with a thump.

"Who is it?" she asked knowing full well who it was.

"It's Mr. Shine, Jack,” Shine answered back.

She told him to wait a sec as she pointed at the DVD. It then levitated as she
guided it into the DVD player.

"Okay, C'mon,” she said not really meaning it at all.

He entered her room and headed towards her bed. Once in her zone…he felt "it.”
He felt Jack's powers emitting off of her Big Time.

Damn it, this twit actually has the power of Telekinesis.
When did this happen? Does she even know…of course she knows dumb a$$.
How powerful is she? These were just a few questions that were wheeling and dealing
in his shined-mined.

"Uh Jack...has anything else happened to you besides your physical alterations?" he asked.

Oh way to go Shine, nice set up. But will she fall for it? he thought.

She thought about his question and knew he was fishing for something.
Besides, didn't he say he "knew all and saw all?"

"Nope, none that I can see,” Jack answered back.

Hmmm, seems I've underestimated our "Chosen One" just a dab. Clearly, she
doesn't trust me with her secret. I can't say that I blame her, he thought.

He just had to smirk at that thought.

"Alright, I was just checking. I'll see you later,” he said walking out of her room.

"Have fun with your powers now, because soon I will have them all," he said walking away.

SECRETS UNRAVELLING

"Decapitation, Oh My God Poor Jack!” Lu frantically said. "This doesn't make any sense.
Why go through with all the "Ways of Shine" if he's just gonna ghost her anyway?" Lu asked.

"Girl, I know but that's Shine for you,” Xai said.

"We mos def need to get our plan underway now more than ever,” Xan said.

"Yes, I totally agree with you Xan. I spoke to "him" before you called me. "He" feels we
can execute our mission really soon,” Lucrecia said.
