Nightmare
Selene: [Walks in her room and takes Elizabeth laying down next to her husband]
Michael: [Looks at her] Is everything alright?
Selene: [Cuddles into him and lays Elizabeth on her stomach] For now, yes. For how long? I don't know. I'm worried the rest of Viktor's coven will find them and eventually find us. I can't lose my family again, Michael.
Michael: You won't. [Kisses her temple] I promise. I'll make sure nothing happens to our children or you.
Selene: How can you be sure you can protect me forever? It's me they're after. I'm the one that killed the elders. I knew from the day I killed Viktor that they would eventually come looking for me. When I saw Viktor alive today, I was so scared. Scared of losing my family again. And to the same person. I've never been so scared in my life since my human family was killed. I never want to be that scared again. Right now, I really need you. [Whispers the last sentence]
Michael: [Holds her close and kisses her head and side of her face] You will always have me, Lene. ALWAYS.
Selene: [Faces him and kisses him softly] I love you so much.
Michael: I love you too, Babe. [Pecks her lips]
Eve: [Screaming from her room] DADDY!
Selene: [Starts to get up]
Michael: [Eases her back down] I'll go check on her. You try and get some sleep. [Kisses her temple and goes upstairs to his oldest daughter's room] Eve? What's wrong?
Eve: [Looks at him with tears streaming down her face]
Michael: [Sits on the edge of her bed and hugs her rubbing her back] What's wrong, Baby Girl? You can tell me anything.
Eve: [Talking through her sobs] I...i...i...it was th...th...the battle from t...t...t...tonight. I...I...I saw what h...h...h...happened, but then y...y...you miscalculated or something a...a...and Viktor k...k...k...killed you and Elizabeth.
Michael: Shhhhhhh. It's ok. Your sister and I are just fine. It was just a nightmare. It'll never happen. Your mother and I have never lost. We never will. And once your training is done, you'll be able to help us and given you're twice as strong as me, we can end this war.
Eve: [Pulls away and wipes her tears] You promise?
Michael: [Nods] I promise. Now try and get some rest. If you need anything, your mother and I are just downstairs. Or if you want, David's across the hall.
Eve: [Nods and lays down] I love you, Daddy.
Michael: [Kisses her temple] I love you too, Sweetheart. Get some sleep. You start your first day of school tomorrow. [Goes back to his room to find his wife and baby daughter asleep and lays down pulling them close and falls asleep]
