**AN: I'm still not quite sure where I'm going with the plot, but hopefully it will develop into something interesting and something that will make the fic stand out from the mass of PotC fics ^^ I also wanna thank every one of you who already reviewed the first chapter **

Chapter 2:

Will slowly opened his eyes, unable to focus on anything. There was a fell taste in his dry mouth and even the slightest attempt to move sent an aching pain through his body, centralising in the back of his head. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply before opening them for the second time.

'...Where am I?'

The surroundings were unfamiliar to him, and Will had no idea how he had come here. The last memory he had was the face of the barkeeper. As Will let his eyes travel around the dark room he was in, he finally realized he was lying in a bed. Slowly the boy forced himself up to a sitting position, even if his temples throbbed in protest.

'...Is this...a ship's cabin?' Will wondered as he felt the rocking movement and heard the low creaks of wood. He lay his eyes on himself and noticed he was naked under the covers. His hair was damp and smelled clean, but Will had no memory of taking a bath.

'What the hell?' Will frowned in confusion. As his eyes became adjusted to the dim lighting of the room, he finally noticed a pair of boots, raised up to a near by table. Will's eyes widened, and a wave of panic washed through his body. All he could see was the pair of boots, for the candle, placed on the table, wasn't enough to show the person's face, hidden in the shadows.

'I've been abducted!' was the first thought that came to Will's mind. He cursed himself for getting so drunk, for Tortuga was a place where you always needed to be on guard. For some time Will eyed the person, sitting in the other end of the cabin. He finally came to the conclusion that who ever the person was, he was asleep.

'...Thank god...Now is my chance to get out of here!' Will reached out for his pants, placed on a chair next to the bed, but froze as a low voice suddenly spoke from the shadows.

"Morning, luv."

Will let out a gasp and pulled his hand back as he realized the person was not asleep after all.

"Leaving ol' Jack so soon?"

All Will could do was stare when the unmistakable figure of Jack Sparrow emerged from the shadows. As the pirate walked to stand before Will's bed, the boy finally found his voice again.

"J-Jack?...Jack!? How did you-" Will groaned and held his temples as his body reminded him of his first hangover.

"Here...try some o' this...an old hangover remedy I myself invented many years ago..." Jack offered Will a bowl, filled with dark green substance. The younger man eyed the potion suspiciously, the mere smell of it warning his senses. Hesitantly he brought the wooden bowl to his lips and drank some of its contents.

"Urgh! Terrible!" Will moaned, the taste in his mouth making him wince.

"Aye, but also effective. Just wait and see." Jack smiled, flashing Will his golden teeth. He sat down on the edge of the bed, meeting Will's eyes. The look on the younger man's face was both surprised and confused. Jack watched as the boy slowly guided his hand to touch Jack's dark hair, as if to see the pirate was really there. The little trinkets in his hair chinked as Will fiddled them with his fingers.

"I'm real enough, mate. No need to paw." The older man laughed and pulled back.

Will blinked his eyes, feeling somewhat ashamed now, a light blush warming his cheeks. A feeling of completion and relief filled his heart as he realized he was on board the Black Pearl.

'It really is Jack...I finally found him! ...But...how? No one in Tortuga had seen in tin three months! And I have no memory of meeting with him last night in the bar...' Will wondered as his eyes drank in the sight of Jack Sparrow.

Jack could tell the boy's mind was filling up with questions. But he also knew Will needed more rest. He pressed his palm against the younger man's bare chest, forcing him to lie back down.

The feeling of Jack's fingertips on his skin sent a jolt through Will's body, making him gasp involuntarily. He saw how the older man raised his brows at this, but said nothing.

As Jack was about to stand up, he was stopped by a hand, gripping his sleeve.

"Wait!...Jack, how...how am I here? I have no memory of the night's events..." Will spoke from the bed, his questioning eyes meeting Jack's. An amused grin tug the pirate's lips upwards as he watched to youth lying in his bed.

"Aye, it seems you have a terribly low tolerance for rum, mate..." Jack spoke, the expression on Will's face growing somewhat embarrassed. "But no worries, I'll be telling you everything in the morning." With this said, he finally stood up from the bed.

"What? In the morning? Why not now?" Will protested as he watched Jack make his way toward the cabin door.

"You need to rest, Will." The older man spoke and reached for the door- handle.

"...But...aren't you even interested to know why I'm here? In Tortuga, and not in Port Royal...or in London with Elizabeth..." Will called from the bed. With this, Jack stopped and watched the boy from the corner of his eye. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke.

"I already know why you're here, Will..." he informed. He could see the younger man was dumbfounded.

"W-what?...But how?" Will stammered, wishing Jack would turn and fully face him.

"...Let's just say that...one's sleep-talk can be very unveiling...Now, get some rest." came Jack's answer, and he finally opened the cabin door.

"You know?? ...Well...don't you have anything to say?" Will stopped him once again from leaving the room. The older man lowered his gaze and sighed.

"I'll see you in the morning, lad." Jack spoke and finally stepped outside, closing the door after him.

Will watched the now empty room, blinking his eyes in disbelief. His cheeks flared up as he realized Jack knew about Will's feelings for him.

'...Jack...knows? He knows about my feelings...and he just left tha that? Is it so insignificant for him?' A wave of anger washed through Will. 'I left Elizabeth because I love him, and now...he doesn't even have anything to say to that?!'

Will was forced to calm down as his temples gave a warning throb. "Nhh...I swear on my Mother's name that was the last time I ever drink rum..."
