Chapter 2 – Theirs
Lilly smiled sweetly at the man as he handed her the bag of apples she had just paid for. The man smiled back
“Ye’ have a nice day lass “ Lilly nodded and started back towards the docks. She hated buying things since it required her to wear a dress. Although it was a dark blue color and not pink, it still puffed at the waist and she hated looking like a girl. But to be able to buy things she had to go on land and if she looked like a pirate she would be arrested.
Quickly she ran aboard her parent’s ship and as soon as her feet hit the deck a yell was heard.
“Alrigh’ let’s sail!” Lilly threw the bag of apples into a barrel and ran down to her room to change into her pants, boots, black shirt and a bandanna around her head. The last things were her sword and gun.
She hung up her dress and ran back up to the deck, she was in such a rush she didn’t see Will until she ran straight into him.
“Woah!! “ Will laughed catching the young girl before she fell face first onto the deck. Lilly laughed and looked up at him.
“Sorry Papa, I didn’t see yea’” Will nodded.
“Obviously, be careful Lilly.” Will kissed the top of her head and went about his work. Lilly ran up to the steering bay and wrapped her arms around Jacks waist her head resting against his side just above her arms.
“Where are we going dad?” she asked looking up at him. Jack looked down at the little girl smiling at her curious black eyes that resembled his so much.
“Wherever we can luv” He replied and looked back to the ocean. Lilly looked so much like him and Will, she had Jack’s dark black eyes and long black hair, but her hair was a bit curly like Will’s and she had his build.
She may have not been theirs biologically but she was theirs and that’s all that mattered to them. Will watched Jack and Lilly talking knowing that no matter what Lilly would always be theirs and that she had actually brought him and Jack closer.
A/N: Ok so there really was no point to this chapter, but the next should be better. Review please!!
