Chapter 2
Scar and Lex continued ran down the corridor of the pyramid. Lex was slightly slower then the larger predator because she was not only weighed down by the alien armor Scar had put on her but also by her jumpsuit and large winter coat. So as Lex continued to run down the corridor she began to lose sight off the predator.
Lex called out to the predator, “Slow down I can’t keep up.”
Even though the Predator snarled a response it slowed it’s pace until both human and alien were matching each other stride for stride. Soon they came to an opening in the corridor and they picked up the pace until they were out of the pyramid and at the hoist system which would pull them to the surface. As they wre climbing in they heard a deafening roar from inside the pyramid and with that Lex cut the rope allowing the pulley system to take both creatures to the surface.
Lex was thrown violently out of the hoist-pulley system and landed on the gorund and did not move. Meanwhile, the Queen alien and her hoard of subjects came swarming out of the pyramid. The Predator hearing their shrieks of demonic screams went to the hole in the ice and opened fire with a sort of plasma gun. The aliens screamed as several were hit with the bolts of energy and burst into pieces raining acidic blood onto their fellow brethren.
Scar seeing that there was no point in shooting anymore took off for the abandoned whaling station picking up the human female along the way and dragged her along with him. He did this because at any moment the explosion from the bomb that had been on his wrist would happen.
Lex stumbled and had the Predator drag her a few feet until a loud explosion from below knocked them both off their feet. Immediately the Predator was up running across the snow and Lex was right next to him.
As an alien poked it’s head out of the hole a blinding white light raced up the tunnel engulfing the Queen and her minions and resulted in the alien at the mouth of the hole to be blown sky high.
Cracks began to form in the ice and the Predator grabbed Lex around the middle and took off at a faster clip, trying to outrun the breaking ice. Lex had a gut feeling that they were not going to make it but the creature holding her hadn’t come to the same conclusion yet. Scar in a last ditch effort, hurled Lex through the air where she landed heavily on her left leg and the Predator took a leap as ice began to vaporize around him.
