All right, here's Chapter two... I have to say I like how this is turning out. I can't seem to stop writing on it...

Codi's blood sang in her veins as she held tight to David, her face buried in his leather jacket. They were speeding down a trail, on the motorcycles once again and David had taken her arm and led her to his bike, leaving Paul staring after them. She'd tossed a curious glance at Paul and climbed on behind David.

They rolled to a stop at the edge of a tunnel and dismounted. Codi stepped on uneven ground and looked down, realizing they were on train tracks, at the end of a bridge. "What's going on?" Michael asked, uneasily, as they were led out to the center of the bridge. "Michael wants to know what's going on?" David said, loudly. "Marko, what's going on?" Marko grinned. "I dunno, Paul, what's going on?" "Who wants to know?" Paul taunted. "Michael wants to know!" Dwayne said, a wicked grin on his handsome face. Codi giggled. David glanced back. "Marko," he said, expectantly. "Goodnight Michael," Marko said, and jumped into the space beneath the tracks. Paul and Dwayne followed and Mike rushed to look through the slats in the tracks. Codi walked beside David and wasn't surprised when he clutched her tightly with one arm and jumped, catching hold of the bars under the bridge and hanging there, along with the others. They were laughing and swinging as Mike slowly lowered himself down to join them. "Fun, huh?" he asked, a challenge in his eyes. Mike just stared at him and David looked down at Codi. She was grinning, exhilerated and she let out a laugh when she heard the whistle of the train approaching. Mike's eyes widened and the whole bridge began to rattle. The guys began to laugh, headbanging and, one by one, they released the bars and dropped into the fog below. "Don't be scared, Michael!" Marko yelled, as he fell out of sight. "You are one of us, Michael," David told him, "Let go!" Codi dimly heard Mike scream that David was crazy and then they were falling through the mist. Codi laughed out loud and spread her arms wide as she fell, somehow trusting that no harm would come to her. David looked at her with something like approval in his eyes and grasped her chin with one hand, meeting her gaze. "You'll do," he said, and then he released her, disappearing below her. Feeling somehow detatched from her body, Codi closed her eyes and leaned back.

The sunlight was obscenely bright and Codi buried her face in her pillows. "Dacoda, wake up!" she heard. Sam, Michael's brother, was pounding on her bedroom door and she groaned. "Go away, Sam!" "Come on, Codi, it's almost 2:30!" he said, walking into the room and moving to the side of the bed. She raised her head and slitted her eyes open. He raised a blond eyebrow. "You look like shit. Where did you and Mike take off to last night? Remember, you ARE cousins," he quipped. She flipped him the bird and rubbed her face. "Sammy, you're sick. Close the blinds." Tossing her a strange look, he did as she asked and she sat up. She was still dressed in the shorts and tank top she'd been wearing the night before, lying on top of her covers. She crossed her arms and her skin felt cold, as if she'd only just stopped falling through the fog. With a start, she looked up at Sam. "Is Mike home too?" "Yeah, he's stumbling around the house like a zombie with sunglasses on. Jesus, how much did you two drink last night and why wasn't I invited to the party?" His words called to mind the bottle in the cave, the sensation of the thick, salty, coppery liquid rolling down her throat and she felt a shiver pass through her. "Get out, Sam. I need to take a shower," she said, swinging her legs over the side of the bed and standing. Sam shook his head and left the room, closing the door behind him as she made her way toward the bathroom that adjoined her room.

She was rinsing the shampoo out of her hair when she heard the door slam open and Mike yanked back the shower curtain. She let out a gasp of surprise and her expression darkened. "Get the fuck out!" she ordered. He ignored her, grabbing her arm and giving her a shake. "What the hell were you thinking?! Why did you follow me?!" "I'll do what I please, Michael," she retorted, yanking her arm out of his grasp. "You got on a bike with a strange guy and let him grope you in a cave, Codi!" "And you followed your dick and almost got your ass kicked, Mike!" she said, yelling now. "Stay away from them, Codi. They'll hurt you!" "Looked to me like it was you they wanted to hurt," she snapped. "Now get out of here and stay the hell out of my life." She grabbed the curtain and slid it shut. A moment later, she heard him leave the bathroom.

Michael rubbed a hand over his face and waited, sitting on his motorcycle outside. The sky was darkening and Codi was inside, getting ready to go to the Boardwalk, as she always did at dusk. He had no intention of letting her go without him, not with David and Paul after her. Some part of him recognized that it was too late, that Codi was as irrevocably tied to them as he seemed to be, but he couldn't just step back and let her go. She was 16, and even though she looked a lot older, she was still a kid. Something about David and the others gave him a distinct sense of unease, and if it hadn't been for Star, he would've stayed clear of them. Just thinking about her made his loins tighten and he knew he would go back to the cave to find her, if he needed to. The door opened and Codi stepped outside. Mike bit back a curse. She was wearing black boots that laced up to her knees, leather short shorts that came up high enough in the back and dipped low enough in the front to make it clear she wasn't wearing any underwear. Her shirt, to stretch the definition of the word, was black vinyl, pulled tight across her breasts and tied in the back and at her neck, dipping into a low "V" in the front. Codi had dressed like this many times, even this exact outfit, and it had made Mike very nervous, but that had been before she'd come to the attention of David and his crew. She shot him a poison glare when she realized he'd been waiting for her. "I can walk," she snapped. "Just get on, Codi," he said, crossly. Quickly weighing how long it would take her to walk, versus how quickly Mike could get them there, she stalked to the bike and swung her leg over, resting her hands lightly on his waist. Silently swearing to himself, he kicked the motorcycle to life and they started moving down the driveway.

The Boardwalk was an explosion of lights and colors and noise and people and Codi loved it. The second Mike came to a halt, she swung off the bike and walked away, hearing him yell after her to wait. She ignored him and moved into the press of the crowd, making her way toward the beach.

She stepped onto the sand and felt someone behind her, standing close. She smelled cigarettes and leather and smiled, turning her head to meet David's gaze. "Codi," he said, almost a growl and then they were there, surrounding her, Paul, Dwayne and Marko, pressing her between them. She turned in a slow circle, trailing her hands across all four chests, her lips curved in a smirk, her eyes throwing sparks. She ran a finger over Paul's lower lip and he nipped the tip of it, blue eyes locked on her face. She felt hands slid around her waist, pressing flat against her stomach and pulling her back. David's body was hard and strong and he leaned close to her ear to say "Come with us." She nodded and Paul took her arm, turning her toward the beach.

They parted to let her through and then disappeared, until only Paul was left, leading her to the small cluster of motorcycles. He slid onto his and started it and she straddled it behind him. "Where did they go?" she asked, curiously. "To get Michael," he said, shortly, feeling a thrill go through him as she pressed close, her thighs lightly gripping his hips. Because he'd been the one to find her, David had given him leave to take Codi ahead and initiate her, before they arrived with her cousin, so she could join in the fun. Paul also had strict instructions to initiate the bloodlust ONLY. He wasn't to touch her in any other way. He supressed a growl at that. David wanted to show her the rest himself, as Paul had known he would. No telling how long it would be before Paul got her to himself. Cursing himself for not taking her that night, outside, before they entered the cave, he rode to the place David had instructed and killed the motor. She dismounted first and he followed, putting a hand on her shoulder and guiding her across the sand, to where a bonfire flickered and loud music blared. A group of guys were jumping around the fire, headbanging and drinking beer and Codi cocked her head, looking up at him questioningly. "Go, get one of them to follow you over here," he said, quietly. Curiously, she did as he said, stepping into the fire light. Paul watched the orange light flicker over her tanned skin, shining off the black leather and vinyl she wore. Her hair seemed to burn and give off light of its own and her eyes glinted black. She walked into the group with a sway to her body, slutty casual and a series of whistles and catcalls went up. Smirking at them, she walked up to one of the boys and leaned close, as if she would kiss him. Her tongue flicked out, barely brushing his lip and he stood frozen, until she stepped back and crooked her finger at him, turning to walk away. Then he followed, his eyes glued to her ass, swaying enticingly in front of him. He didn't even notice Paul until he stepped forward and grabbed him by the hair.

The boy's eyes widened in surprise as Paul yanked his head back and he fell to his knees, but didn't make a sound. He seemed paralyzed and when Paul looked up at Codi, his face was different. His brow was thicker, his eyes no longer blue, but a golden color with darker orange around the outside of his iris and his teeth were longer, sharper, fangs. She stared, captivated, as he struck, sinking his teeth into the flesh at the boy's throat. Blood flowed and Codi felt an ache in her jaw at the sight. Her breath came fast and hard and her body sang with need. Paul raised his head, blood coating his chin, dripping into the sand and saw her, hands clenched, eyes wide and matching his own. Her mouth was open and he could see small, kittenish fangs in her mouth, smaller than his own, but just as sharp. "Come," he said, his voice barely more than a snarl. She dropped to her knees beside him and he held the boy's head with one hand and guided her to the unmarked side of his throat, watching with satisfaction as she mirrored his strike, her fangs sinking into the large blue vein pulsing just beneath the skin. Paul watched her throat work as she swallowed the blood, her eyes closing, her breasts heaving under the thin material of her shirt. Her hands clutched in the boy's shirt and she sat on his lap, straddling him, and as Paul slowly lowered him to the ground, she followed, still drinking. A moment later, he grasped her hair and pulled her away. She whimpered, straining against him for a moment and then swung her gaze toward him, still gleaming gold, blood streaking her face, running down her chest, under her shirt, through the valley between her breasts and down her belly. "He's dead. The blood will cool and make you sick," he said, standing and pulling her to her feet. She wavered and grabbed his jacket to keep from falling, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, before she giggled and rested her forehead against his chest. Paul carefully kept his hands on her arms, even though his body screamed at him to take her. She was drunk on her first blood, her first kill and he knew David and the others would arrive soon. He wanted her, but he knew David would kill him if he disobeyed an order.

Even as he completed the thought, he heard the sound of motorcycles and they appeared over the dune, Michael in tow. They came to a stop and dismounted next to them. Mike's eyes widened in alarm when he saw the dead boy and he looked at his cousin. David, Dwayne and Marko were staring at her too, but the look in their eyes was far from alarmed.

David's gaze raked over Codi, streaked with blood, rivulets running down that body, her lips stained red, small fangs gleaming, her eyes glowing and felt things low in his body go tight and hard. He stepped forward and grasped her chin, raising her face to his and her lips curved into a sensual smile. A soft sound came from her and he realized she was purring. He flicked his gaze to Paul and saw raw lust. It was mirrored on the faces of the others, even Michael, though he was fighting it. David released Codi and moved to Michael's side, close enough to whisper. "You want her, don't you?" "She's my cousin and she's covered in blood. She killed that boy," Mike said, his eyes never leaving her. "Yes. Look at her, Michael. You want to taste the blood, lick it off her body," David taunted. Mike's breathing was speeding up, and the teeth that bit into his lip were sharp, drawing blood. His eyes were starting to turn and his hands clenched into fists at his sides. Codi gazed at them, her eyes heavy lidded, her lips swollen and red. The look on her face was pure sex, even when she looked at Mike. "The blood had a hold on her, Michael and she wants to fuck something," he said, softly. "She doesn't care who you are, that you're her cousin. You're one of us, she can smell it and she wants us, any of us, all of us." A low sound came from Mike's throat and he bit down harder on his lip. "And you know what, Mikey?" he teased. "We're going to give her exactly what she wants, as soon as we feed. Join us, and you can watch." Mike let out a cry and fell to his knees. Codi took a step forward, but David intercepted her, turning her back toward the bonfire and whispering in her ear. "There's more blood to be taken." She blinked and started forward. They surrounded her and as a group, they attacked.

Flesh tearing, blood flowing, screams ripping through the night. Codi drank until she could drink no more and then she just slaughtered, raising bloody hands to the sky and screaming, revelling in her kills. She was red and slick with blood and she felt intoxicated. She could feel the others around her, hear them laughing and feeding. Heat blossomed in her belly and between her legs and her breasts tightened, aching with the need to be touched. She reached out, almost blindly and David was there, pulling her against him, kissing her. She felt his fangs receed and wrapped her legs around his waist. He put one hand on her ass to hold her up and she heard him say something to the others. Then they were moving. She dimly heard the bikes, felt the engine beneath her, knew they were going to the cave. She didn't care where they went, as long as they quenched the heat inside her soon.
