An alternative future


Fifteen years had past since the birth of the Quadruplets. And at the age of fifteen the quadruplets were keeping their parents and their masters on their toes at all times. They constantly bugged their nineteen year-old older brother and sister, Luke and Leia.

Padme was the padawan of Master Yoda, while Kaden had Mace Windu as his master. Shmi was the padawan of Master Aayla Secura. And finally Master Saesee Tinn was Qui-Gon’s master.

It had been decided by the council that the four would be taught by four of the high ranking masters, Anakin and Obi-wan for example. But seeing as Anakin was Luke’s master and Obi-wan Sirius’s, which meant Anakin and Obi-wan were out of the running.

Luke and Sirius had been granted senior padawan status when they were seventeen, now at the age of nineteen; the boys were as skilled as their masters.

Luke looked the way his father had at his age, the way he had looked when he had married Padme, only he was shorter then his six foot three inch father, he was five foot nine inches tall.

But still he managed to tower over Obi-wan by several inches, while he was a tower compared to Leia whose petite frame only stood at five foot five inches. Sirius on the other hand was six foot down to the last inch.

Luke sighed as he and Sirius were called to the council’s main chambers. He knew that the council had an assignment that required him and Sirius along with their masters to take care of it, they just had no idea what they were being asked to take care of or guard.

Luke and Sirius entered the council chambers and made their way to the centre of the room and bowed as they faced the council. Luke immediately sensed his father’s anger and turmoil as soon as he and Sirius entered the room. He also immediately noticed his papa was also on edge and ready to strike out at a moments notice.

Luke linked to his father and master through their master and padawan bond. ~father what’s going on? I can sense your turmoil and dread as if it were my own~

Anakin linked back ~you’ll soon be made a ware of what’s happened and is to come. All I can tell you is that it concerns you and I along with your papa and Sirius going on a mission on Naboo~

As soon as the word Naboo was mentioned Luke also became full of instant dread and turmoil. Father and son instantaneously thought of one being who had the most influence over Naboo. Leia. She was after all their current and reining queen.

She had relocated to Naboo at the age of fourteen after she had been visiting her mother’s home planet. As soon as the government and the previous queen had gotten wind of who her mother had been, she had been immediately elected as queen, seeing as the current queen back then was due to finish her second and last term as the ruler.

Master Windu began to speak. “It has been brought to the attention of the council that the trade federation has made many attempts to assassinate her majesty queen Skywalker-Kenobi of Naboo.

They are trying to force the queen to sign treaty. Darth Sidious is tempting to take over Naboo. After laying low for almost two decades he is now done biding his time and is now starting to take a more active role in this persistently on going clone war.”

He continued “the council agrees that you padawan’s Skywalker and Delacour are to go to Naboo and protect the queen. You masters, masters Skywalker and Kenobi will accompany you. The four of you are to protect her majesty at all costs. The trade federation must be stopped; their vile exploits must be ended.

You will leave as soon as this meeting is adjourned. May the force be with you and your mission a success?”
