Chapter Two: Alone in the Dark

Anakin was tormented throughout the banquet. He had watched Storm practically the whole night. He watched her greet the people and smile that gorgeous smile of hers. He watched her hold meaningless conversations to the Senators and Aristocrats. He made sure he kept his eye on her accepting her golden medallion from Master Yoda --“for your service, we thank you. Any soldier like you, we will never find. Seeing you stand here tonight, brings warm feelings to my heart.” -- And so on. Anakin thought he would die listening to Master Yoda’s long and semi backwards speech. They had just finished dinner and now it was time to mingle with everyone. Anakin didn’t feel like “mingling”. There was only one thing he came here to do and that thing was Storm. He watched her charm the crowd. She was wearing an all white floor length dress that hugged her in all the right places and showed more of her than he would’ve liked everyone to see. He had always known here. She was just a baby when he’d first seen her. Her mother was a Senator and spent many days in meetings with the Jedi Council. At the age of 10, Obi Wan would give him the responsibility of watching over baby Storm. It wasn’t until after her 17th birthday party and his diminished relationship with Padme that his infatuation had grown for her. She had definitely grown up since he’s seen her. When she left for the Sith Wars, she had been a giggling, outgoing 18 year old girl who was ready for the life ahead of her. Now, she’s a vibrant, sexy, intelligent woman who’s ready for anything life throws at her.

“Enjoying the view again Anakin?”

Anakin turned around to Obi Wan’s voice. He looked at his former Master and knew what he was thinking. “If you’re talking about me watching Storm, then…..yes, I am.” He said boldly.

“Anakin, be mindful of your thoughts. We’ve been through this with Senator Amidala and I shall hate to go through this with you with Captain Galactica.” Obi Wan said, his eyes giving Anakin a warning. He takes a sip of his Goula Punch. “She does look lovely though.” He said, walking off, smiling.

Anakin looked at Obi Wan before turning his attention back to Storm. He was tired of looking at her from afar. He was more than ready to look at her up close…and somewhere private. He was about to make his way toward his target when a hand on his arm stopped him.

“Anakin?” Padme said, looking up at him.

Anakin turned around and looked at his former lover. She was dressed in her usual Senator robes and still looked beautiful like an Angel on the moons of Iego. He bowed as he spoke. “M’lady.”

“How are you Ani? I haven’t seen you in quite some time.” She said, with warmth in her voice.

Anakin slightly cringed at her nickname for him. He hadn’t heard it in a while and didn’t miss it. “I am doing fine M……Padme. I mean, Senator. I have been busy. The Jedi council has kept me entertained.” He sighed and looked at her for a bit. “So…..how have you been? I am truly sorry that I could not make it to your…..wedding. I made it to the first so, that counts for something right?” He smiled angrily.

Padme closed her eyes at Anakin’s statement. He was referring to the wedding they had after the beginning of the Clone Wars. It was just the two of them and R2D2 and C-3PO. It was the most magical moment in her life, but her happiness quickly ended. They would have late night rendezvous’ at her apartment and in various places. In public, it was painful being so close to each other and not being able to touch each other. She had to end their marriage. It wasn’t fair to them…it wasn’t fair to him. He had so desperately tried to make her see that their love was true and right, but it wasn’t. He was a Jedi and she was a Senator. Even though she had still loved Anakin, she recently had gotten married to Nero Oracle, a stately senator from her home planet Naboo. She tried to find the right words to say to him, but couldn’t. “Ani……” she stopped in her sentence when she felt her husband’s arm around her.

Anakin smiled a tight lipped smile and bowed. “If you would excuse me M’lady,” He turned on his heels and walked away. He didn’t see Storm anywhere in the crowd, but he felt her. And he knew exactly where she was.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Storm stood on one of the many balconies of the Jedi Temple—on the far side to be exact. The one side she knew that no one would be occupying because they either weren’t there or they were at the banquet. She took a deep breath, breathing in the night’s cool air. She looked up into the sky. She could see the blinking lights of Starship Cruisers making their way around the Galaxy and the many moons and stars they passed. Her body trembled but not because of the cool air. It was something else—something dangerous. She turned around, knowing what that danger was.
“Hello beautiful.”
Storm closed her eyes briefly before opening them again. “Anakin, what are you doing out here?”
“I think you know the answer to that question my love.” He walked slowly to her, his eyes boring into hers. His left hand brushed the soft skin of her cheek. “You are so beautiful darling. I have missed you. It has been far too long.” His lips touch hers in a passionate kiss. He feels Storm backing up and he traps her between him and the rail of the balcony. His tongue brushes against her full lips for access to her mouth.
Storm turns her head, breaking the kiss. “Anakin….” She feels his hand tugging on her dress, pulling it up.
“Yes my love?” His long fingers brushes slightly against her panties, feeling her wetness. He smiled and pulled her leg around his waist. He pushed her panties aside, tickling her soft curls, and then slipping a long finger into her warmth. He almost lost control himself; she was so wet for him. “Do you want me to stop my love?” he said, smiling as her head shook from side to side. “Say you’ve missed me.” He slipped another finger inside of her, pumping into her fast. He kissed her neck as she moaned his name. It was music to his ears. “Say you’ve missed me.” He voice was lustfully harsh.
Storm furrowed her eyebrows, closing her eyes. She found herself winding her arms around Anakin’s neck, loving the way he was making her feel. She cursed herself. She wanted to push him away…..but she couldn’t. She just couldn’t. It felt so good. “No Anakin.”
Anakin growled, pressing his lips to her ear. “Say. It.” He slipped a third finger inside her, stretching her inner walls ever so slightly. He nibbled her ear, traveling down to her neck. She smelled so delicious. He wanted to take her right then and there. He felt her muscles start to tighten and knew she was on the edge. “Say. It. Say you’ve missed me.” His fingers thrusted into her, harder and faster, bringing her to her peak. He heard what he wanted to hear from her moans and screams of her orgasm. He slowed his fingers to a stop as she was coming down from her peak.
Storm panted; her heart racing. She had never experienced anything of that nature in her life. She had always heard about what it was like to be with a man, but never got to experience it…until now.
Anakin chuckled, reading her thoughts. “No my love. This is not what you call ‘being with a man’.” His eyes grew dark with want and lust. “But you will find out….soon. I promise you, we will be together. And I will make you mine.” He pulled his fingers out of her, smiling at her small objective moan. He pushed her dress back down her legs, smiling at her as he did so. “I let one love get away, but you. You will not. We belong together my love. Soon, you will find that out.” He kissed her lips slightly and walked towards the balcony door. He opened it with the force before turning around to look at Storm. “Welcome home Captain Galactica.” He smiled and walked back into the temple.
Storm stood there, dazed. She cursed herself for letting him get to her. She wasn’t supposed to let him get to her. She turned around, placing her hands on the railing of the balcony. “Damn it!”
