I do not own the Star Wars movie series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Transport, Exposition
AN: Let's see.. thanks for the reviews! I'd love a little more detail though, so I can get it tailored to the reader's wants and needs.
Before there was white, there was blue, soft around the edges, familiar. Luke knew this blue, it was his Master, Obi-Wan, it felt like him before he could make out the man's form in his mind, and hear his voice, his soft accent.
"Luke. Look at me."
And he felt himself to be in the dark void that had to be his unconsciousness, he nodded faintly and fixed his eyes on his Master. His thoughts were not all his own, not at once, but as they filtered together, he blurted out, "Why did you lie to me?"
There was a raw anguish in Luke's voice that Kenobi couldn't help but grate against. He'd expected Luke to be angry at the deceit, he'd had no choice but to lie to him, but he hadn't predicted the rawness in his voice, the slight trembling in the boy.
"Why did you lie, Ben? You told me he killed my father." His breath grew uneven as he got louder, and he shook a little, advancing towards Obi-Wan, despite the fact that the other man was just a hallucination, and he himself was in his own mind.
"Darth Vader is not the same man that your father was, Luke. What I said was true, when your father fell to the Dark Side, it was as if Darth Vader had murdered your father."
"That's not what you meant. You didn't want me to know. You meant to keep it from me!"
"You were not ready for the knowledge, nor were you ready to face Vader."
"I might have been if I'd known he was my father."
Luke scowled, an almost childish expression that betrayed his age to his mentor, but it cut straight into Obi-Wan, as it was so familiar. Anakin had once worn that expression, especially when Obi-Wan pushed him away.. Luke had so much of his father in him, it was true.
"Luke. I was wrong in not telling you. I wished only to protect you." Obi-Wan's voice was soft and convincing, and Luke's eyes lifted to him again, his eyes wanting to believe even if his lips stayed fixed in his pout.
"From what? From the truth?" His tone was still accusatory, but softer.
"Yes.. and I can sense how you feel about Vader, Luke." The admission was quiet, almost sympathetic. He was aware of the curse it was to love Vader, he himself felt shades of emotion towards the man, more machine than man, really, but to him, it was a more clear cut issue, his love for Anakin carried over. Luke's desires were of an entirely different breed, one Kenobi didn't fully understand.
"What are you talking about?"
Luke felt violated, as if his most private thoughts had been pried out of his head and scattered before the galaxy. He didn't doubt for a second that Ben had seen what he wanted so badly to conceal, that he'd glimpsed the raw lust that Luke himself didn't understand, that he couldn't explain. There was just something about Vader that Luke was incredibly drawn towards.
"You know what I mean, Luke. Don't allow him to use that as a power over you." Obi-Wan shook his head faintly. "If he has anything of Anakin left in him, he can be.. very convincing."
Luke was more confused now than insulted, wondering just exactly what Kenobi knew about the matter, and as he started to ask, he came to consciousness.

The cold air around Luke smelled like space, like he was on a spaceship that had been sterilized too many times. His more highly developed senses told him that this wasn't one of the Corillian ships, but an individual flagship.. Vader's flagship. He opened his eyes slowly, and had to shut them again immediately, everything in the room was blinding, chemical white and after his long trance, it burned his eyes. He felt the surface beneath him, smooth and cold, stainless durasteel, perhaps, and he was not tied to it in any way.. it was as if he was on an operating table, and once he entirely opened his eyes he half expected to see all manners of surgical tools laid out beside him.
What he did see was a smooth, plain set of white walls, without any obvious door, the only object in the room being the table he'd been laid on. This was entirely different from the detention cell he'd found the princess in, and this caused him to worry somewhat, as he obviously wasn't a diplomatic prisoner..
His clothing had been changed, and on closer inspection, his skin sterilized as well. Luke found himself to be dressed in a simple white tunic and pants, much like his usual wear, but this fabric was a synth fabric, not any kind of organic fiber, and it too was hygienic. There most certainly was some feeling of surgery about the matter.
After his careful probing of the situation, Luke stood to go examine the walls. One of them must split apart, somehow. He ran his fingers over the flawless surfaces, his mind following along, checking for any fault that might indicate a door or a way out, and as he touched what felt like it might have been a door, or a flaw, the space in the wall opened up and he had to jump back, wanting to have a little distance to see what faced him.
The presence washed over him and he almost felt faint.
Vader stood before him, in all of his majesty, and advanced upon him, the door sliding shut behind him, and Luke was forced to back against the table, upset that he couldn't stand up against the presence. He wanted to, but there was something he couldn't explain at work. Vader stood some distance away from him, and just watched him, waiting for Luke to regain his composure and meet what was in place of Vader's eyes. Luke burned with questions, but somehow he couldn't quite manage to vocalize any.
"I allowed your friends to escape," Vader rasped, "But we are tracking them. If you attempt to escape, they shall be terminated."
"They aren't so easy to kill, you know." A bit of Luke's spirit flared up, he was capable yet defiance.
"You would do well to respect what we are capable of."
There was a long pause, as Vader's seriousness set in.
"What do you want with me?" Luke glared at the tall, so tall, beautiful lust-inspiring form of his father and forced himself to maintain his resolve. He wasn't allowed to give in to his anger, true, but using a little to keep himself from succumbing... that had to be fine.
"Obi-Wan took you away from me. I am your rightful father and intend to make up for lost time." Vader's voice sounded as it ever did, but Luke couldn't help but read the sarcasm into the synthesized words.
"I don't believe you." A flat denial.
"We are headed to Kamino. We will be landing shortly, and then I will tell you what I have in store for you."
And, to prove that he too sensed what Luke felt, Vader reached out to stroke the side of Luke's face, rubbing his thumb over his cheek, his lips. The hand underneath the glove was raw robotics, and felt entirely in human, and as Luke tried to turn his face away from it, Vader forced Luke to stay in place as he continued to touch him, stroking his hair back.
Luke shivered and controlled his breathing as not to whimper. What was this? He'd had lust before, but nothing so controlling, so overpowering.. nothing that left him weak and overcome.. he had no explanation.
Darth Vader turned to go, and Luke bit his lip to stop from crying out for Vader not to go.

When the door opened again, it was not Vader that stood before Luke, but a number of pristine stormtroopers and a man in a dark gray uniform, an admiral, perhaps. Luke knew that this man was the one of the group he could not brainwash as Obi-Wan had taught him, so when the admiral gestured, he just stood up and followed him down equally sterile white corridors. Luke considered running, fleeing the men, trying to find his way out, as they had to be on a planet by now, or if not, there had to be some escape pod he could float away in, but he couldn't bring himself to bolt, and did not see an opportunity until the halls widened to form what had to be a departure hatch, and Luke lost the last shreds of his resolve, as Vader stood waiting.
He gestured Luke close, and his son obeyed in part, stopping defiantly a few feet in front of him. Vader stepped closer, then, a long white cloak in his hand, and he leant closer to Luke to pull the cloak onto his shoulders, the cowl hood over his hair, and once he was protected, the hatch opened.
Outside, rain hammered down in torrents, and Luke understood the need for the protection.
"Return for me when I comm for you."
"We will, Lord Vader."
And with that, Vader strode into the storm, and Luke followed him instinctively, not questioning for the moment, the traditional two paces behind and one to the left of a Padawan apprentice.
Luke had never seen such rain on Tattoine, and he couldn't help but wonder at it. Kamino.. Leia had told him of this planet, and its part in the creation of the Empire, but what was it.. something about the stormtroopers, and Master Obi-Wan..
And then it hit him.
Kamino was a world for cloning.
