Here's Freddy
Disclaimer: Still don’t own it.
The light of the moon flooding into the bedroom as the wind blows against the rustling leaves outside. After finally getting Joey out of her bed and sending him home disappointed again, Haylie turns off her light, happily ready to crawl beneath the covers of her warm comfy bed. The guilt was eating at her. She hated doing this to Joey, after all she did love him, but the memories kept flooding back into her mind. The nightmares had become almost scarce but the memories were still surreal. Turning onto her side and pulling the blanket up around her neck, her eyes slowly fluttering shut. Sleep has been coming easily as of late. The nightmares seized to exist compared to what they once where.
The white fluffy clouds in the crystal clear blue sky. The wildflowers that sprang up over the healthy green grass of the field. The breeze gently blowing her hair as Haylie walked peacefully through the field. The purple lilacs in her hand intoxicating her nostrils. Could there ever be another peace inside her mind of the traumatizing nightmares? She drops to her knees in the middle of the field, laying the lilacs in her lap.
Behind her the Kodak blue sky begins to get covered up by the black clouds that roll in. Droplets of rain fall against her skin. Haylie looks up into the sky as a deafening thunder rolls
around her. The rain started to come down harder.
Oh this sudden down pour feels wonderful, she thinks to herself. Her eyes shut as she gets to her feet and begins to spin in circles. Lightning flashing in the background as Haylie slowly opens her eyes, looking down at her dress and seeing the red that covers her arms and dress. Her screams echoing for miles as she realizes that crimson red blood droplets are falling from the sky.
The withering grass around her was wasting away to nothing. Instinctively she begins to run through the field. Her bare feet tried to carry her body toward some kind of shelter. Her mind clouded by confusion and fear, suddenly realizing the unbearable pain shooting her through her feet. Looking down to see the ground covered in thorns. The blood was falling from the rain faster and harder, stinging her eyes. The pain in her feet was almost too much to handle as she tries and makes her way through the thorns.
She looked up and seeing a figure walking across the field. He stopped and looked over at her. Her scream was caught in her throat. She couldn't believe what she saw. She wasn’t being able to do anything besides just stare at him. The figure turned and walked away from her.
The panic raced through Haylie's body. How could he just leave me like this? Her eyes shut as she began to tell herself that it's just a dream.
A flash of lightning hits in the background, bright enough to make a blind man see. Haylie's eyes shot open to reveal that the dying field was no longer around her. Although her feet were still cut and bleeding, the thorns no longer dug into her battered skin. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room.
"Where am I?" she questioned herself. She squinted her eyes and stared into the corner of the room.
The outline of a man came into view. Her mouth dropped as he stepped from the dim corner into the light of the storm pouring through the window. Her heart raced. A smile came acrossed her face and a sense of security befell her. Joey.
She ran acrossed the room and flung her arms around him. "Oh my god Joey, Thank god you are here...." her voice trailed off when she realized the cold silence on behalf of her significant other.
She stepped back and looked up at his face. Joey's hand comes up over his face and in a slow gut wrenching fashion began to tear at his face. The thunder rolled in the background and in that instant, from Joey's eye sockets poured blood. The putrid smell along with Haylie's despair, she spun away from her Joey.
"This is the worst nightmare I have ever had". She looked down to see her feet covered in baby spiders. A loud piercing scream echoes through the house and she turns to run toward the door. Joey eyes bleeding and spiders rising from the blood. She makes her way to the door to find that it is locked. She turns and leans against the door trying to stay away from those damn spiders. Back pressed tightly to the door, tears flowing from her eyes. An arm slowly wraps around her waist. She gasps but to stunned to move.
She hears a low whisper in her ear. "Here's Freddy."
