Sarah's Dilemma

Disclaimer: George Lucas invented these characters, I am just babysitting them.

Alannah: I have hung around a great many 10/11 year olds, and they are all different. My male cousin when he was ten collected dolls. I was ten at one time myself. I know a lot of kids, and get on well with children. I am writing Toby as a mature sensitive ten year old, and they do exist.

Mandi: Here is the second chapter. I hope you like it.

Sarah’s Dilemma

Jareth sat in his throne with his leg hanging over the chair and his whip laid across his chest. He was humming the song he sang when he had Toby. Sarah was settling in a room he had prepared for her the moment she turned fourteen. He wasn’t going to take her in the truest sense of the word at that age. He just wanted to have female companionship.

He didn’t know what to do now that he had finally had her in his Castle; alone; friendless, and vulnerable. She had changed. She was definitely a woman. A young, beautiful woman that he didn’t know what to do or how to act around her now that he finally had her in his clutches.

He should be storming the Castle to her room and take her. That was what this was about after all. She had hair like ebony silk, and the freckles that adorned her nose and cheeks were adorable and cute. But the thing that he loved about her more than anything was her grey eyes, the way they sparkled silver when she smiled. He was tapping his feet in the air to the tune. He didn’t feel like being reminded of a babe, when all he wanted was to feel the babe.

He swung his legs off the chair and got up. He walked out of the throne room and turned right, towards the stairs. He started up the stairs and took two at a time. He had been waiting for her for too long. She was going to do what HE wanted; he had wanted this for so long.

She was sitting at the window seat and stared out the window contemplating the landscape. Her eyes alighted on the spot that she hated most about the Under Ground; the Bog of Eternal Stench was the worst place in either of the two worlds she belonged to.

She smiled though at her meeting with Sir Didymus. She had her hand under her chin and she was dreaming of her friends, she felt she should wish for them. All she had to say was ‘I need you,’ and then they’d turn up. She had been on her own in this room for two hours now. So why hadn’t she called for help? She should, she was now genuinely afraid of King Jareth now. He didn’t have to pretend to be frightening to her now. He WAS frightening.

She took in a deep breath and was just about to wish for her friends to help her when she heard her heavy oak door slam against the stonewall of the Castle. She turned her head toward the interruption. She was face to face with the last person she wanted to see right now.

“Your Majesty!” she said stiffly before she turned back to the scenery.

“Sarah, I thought we were beyond this.” He replied with a sigh. He walked up to her. He tilted his head to one side; this woman is so pretty and delightful, he thought. He loved the frosty exterior she was exerting.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Your Majesty.”

He put the flat of his gloved hand on the window frame and leant in closer to her. Sarah did not want to show him how much he affected her. Her heart was pumping, and she began to feel hot. She felt his breath ghost along her cheek.

“Oh you do, Sarah, you do know what we’re talking about.”

Sarah tried to ignore his presence. He looked at the scenery with her.

“Leave me alone,” she said.

“I don’t think that I will leave you alone, Sarah. Not when I have been hungering after you for ten years.”

He looked at her profile. He snaked an arm around her waist.

“Your Majesty, please I can’t.”

Jareth rolled his eyes. He knew that ‘I can’t.’ It meant, she could but did not want to. He would make her want to.

“I love you, Sarah,” he murmured in her ear, as he spread his hand over her stomach. “I love you.”

Sarah tried to resist the urge to lean into him. She felt her breathing become faster. He felt her reaction to him. He smirked against her neck and began brushing his lips against the soft spot of her neck. Sarah moaned at the contact.

“No, please don’t do this, Your Majesty!”
“Call me Jareth, please.”

Sarah turned around and their lips touched each other’s. She bit her lip in confusion. He smiled at this sweet innocent gesture. He tilted his head and brushed his lips harder against hers. She moaned again, and he smiled as he kissed her.

“Jareth,” she said in a husky voice. “Jareth, we can’t do this.”

“Do you enjoy what I am doing to you?” he asked.

“Yes,” she whispered. She looked up at him and saw his eyes twinkling merrily. She was going to say no but something about his expression changed her mind.

“Come on, Sarah, please don’t make me wait any longer.”

He tucked some of her hair behind her ear and leant in closer towards her. He stroked her lobe with his leather-gloved hand, and smiled before he sucked on it gently. Sarah wound her arms around his neck.

“Why me, Jareth?” she murmured. “Why out of all the women in the Above Grounds, did you pick me?”

“Because you were the one that loved me back, Sarah. Every woman in the Above Grounds sensed me, but you were the one that reciprocated.”

Sarah looked at Jareth to see if the expression in his eyes matched what he had just said. They looked at her full of yearning, and love.

“But I’m not,” she murmured. “I am not reciprocating at all.”

“Then why are you going to kiss me now?” he asked her in a soft gentle voice.

“I don’t know,” she said as she brushed her lips against his and slowly slid her tongue in between his lips. He stroked her cheek and let her kiss him warmly, slowly and passionately.

His body moved in closer to hers as their kiss got more intense. He felt her warm up and she pushed her hands up into his long blonde hair. His flesh tingled at her touch, and he dropped the whip on the floor in the midst of the passion. He hugged her tightly and closely. She let herself be drawn into his embrace. He picked her up in the kiss and she wrapped her legs around his waist. She felt his penis react to her vagina rubbing on it and she stopped kissing him immediately.

“NO!” she exclaimed. She slid her legs down his waist. She pushed him away and folded her arms in an effort to make him say that she did not wish to be approached.

“You enjoyed that, Sarah, there is nothing that you didn’t enjoy about that.”

“So,” she said. “Look, Your Majesty, whatever it is you truly want from me just say it.”

“I want you to be my Queen, Sarah, I want you to rule with me.”

“No! I can’t do that. Don’t you see that I have responsibilities somewhere else?”

“You are stuck in a dead end job as a Waitress at a Drive In. You are used by your father as a babysitter, you’re mother is dead, and your step mother wishes you were to.”

“Toby needs me!” Sarah said.

“So do I, Sarah. The time will come soon when you have to make a choice. When he comes here you will have to make a choice. To stay and love me, or be saved by your brother, but be miserable in a life where you are being taken for granted. I will never take you for granted, Sarah.”

With that he flicked his wrist and his whip came back in his hand and he smirked at her.

“I won’t have to wait until Toby comes here for my decision. I want to be with Toby in the Above Grounds.”

Toby walked down the alleyway with Hoggle. He smiled down at Hoggle and Hoggle smiled back up at him. He looked at the straight path.

“Well this sucks!” Toby exclaimed.

“Why?” Hoggle asked.

“Where are the turnings? Where are the corners?”
“Oh don’t worry,” Hoggle said. “I will gets you there, I promise.”

Toby turned to look down at Hoggle. Hoggle looked back up at Toby.

“What are you doing?” Toby asked. “Sarah told me that you know your way around the Labyrinth, so please tell me that you still do?”

“Oh, of course, I still do.”

“Then tell me where to go! My sister is in trouble!”

Hoggle sighed. He took hold of Toby’s arm.

“You’re still a child, do you realise how much trouble the Labyrinth is?” Hoggle said in a concerned fatherly tone. “You see I remember Sarah had difficulties.”

“Without you she did, when you decided to help her the troubles were over,” Toby said.

Hoggle nodded, and they continued to walk down the alley. Toby contemplated the straight path.

“Ello,” a small voice said.

Toby turned his head and Hoggle stepped the other side of the wall. Toby opened his mouth in shock.

“Did you just say ‘hello?’” Toby asked.

“Oh not this again! I said ‘ello,” it said. “Do you want to come inside and meet the missus?”

“No thank you,” Toby answered. “Do you know where to turn in this place?”

“Sure, there’s one right in front of you.”

Toby turned to face a slimy, ivy-covered wall. Toby spotted the lichen with eyes on the end, and it made him shiver. He remembered finally what Sarah had said about the alley. He turned to Hoggle.

“A worm is more help than you,” Toby said.

“Oh, sure, but he’s just a worm!” Hoggle exclaimed.

The worm muttered about ungrateful kids. He remembered the last time that somebody did this. She was ungrateful too, didn’t even accept his polite offer of a cup of tea.

Toby walked towards the wall and he smiled at Hoggle. He squared his shoulders and started walking left. Hoggle was just about to suggest going the other way but Toby was walking towards the first turning.

Hoggle followed the determined young boy with a slow helpless walk. Toby walked around the first turning.

The worm sighed. He felt sorry for the boy; he had chosen the way that would have led straight to the castle. He felt that the Goblin/Dwarf thing would have taken him the safe route.

Sarah was lying on her opulent bed with the back of her hand over her forehead, she sighed as she thought of the kiss that Jareth had given her. She couldn’t believe that happened. What was happening to her? Ten years ago she thought that it was all worked out. She thought that he hated her. That he would never want to see her again after what she did to him.

But that kiss, she knew that kiss was the kiss of a man truly in love. She smiled at that thought. Then she thought of Toby. She thought that if he was with Hoggle then she had nothing to worry about. But then she thought that Hoggle wasn’t nice to her at first.

“Oh no!” she exclaimed sitting up. She had to sit back down again because of the head rush. “No, Hoggle, please don’t tell me that you’re going to do to my brother what you did to me?”

“Do you know that talking to yourself is the first sign of madness.”

“Go away,” Sarah said.

“You don’t mind me being here as much as you think, Sarah,” Jareth said. He walked up to the four-poster bed and placed his hands on the posts and he observed her.

She was lying on the bed in a rather sexy position. Jareth looked at her hungrily with eyes full of passionate lust. Sarah noticed the look, and then she looked down at the way her body was sprawled on the bed. She immediately changed position. Jareth raised an eyebrow.

“What do you want?” Sarah asked.

“We’re going round in circles, Sarah. You have to stop asking that question everytime I come in here.”

Sarah sighed. She sat up on the bed and huddled her knees to her chin. She brushed her hair aside and smiled.

“Jareth,” she sighed, “I am not Sarah from ten years ago. I’ve changed.”

Jareth chewed his bottom lip and then he slid his hands off the mahogany posts. He walked around the bed and looked at how vulnerable she seemed in her semi-foetal position. He noticed a tear fall out of the corner of her eye. He sat down on the bed and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She leant into him. He rested his chin on the top of her head. She rubbed a hand on his chest.

“Sarah, this is your life. You have to admit that you weren’t happy with your life in the Above Grounds. You have a choice now, Sarah. I love you, Sarah.”

Sarah continued stroking Jareth’s chest. Jareth enjoyed her touch, it was gentle and soothing, it relieved the stress he had. He rubbed her back. She sighed as he massaged her back.

“I don’t know, Your Majesty, a part of me wants to stay here and give you what you want. But then I think that Toby needs me.”

“Toby could stay here too, Sarah. I wanted to adopt him ten years ago. I wanted you both to stay here.” He started stroking her hair.

“Perhaps,” Sarah murmured. Jareth smiled above her.

“Come on, Sarah, what do I have to do or say to make you understand how I feel about you?”

Sarah put her arm around his waist. He laid back on the bed and she went with him. She inadvertently laid a leg over his. Jareth noticed and he turned around. She had fallen asleep by his side.

“Jareth,” she murmured.

“Yes, Sarah,” he said.

“Don’t let me go,” she said. “I want you to hold me whilst I am sleeping.”

Jareth didn’t reply, he just stayed by her side, hugging her close to his body. She smiled as she slept.

“Oh no, Sarah, I have no intention of letting you go,” he muttered under his breath. “I am going to use any means possible to keep you here.”

He brought out a crystal ball and peered into it. He noticed the fog lift and he saw Toby and Hoggle. He smirked as he looked at Hoggle. Then he frowned. The boy had taken the right way, he had chosen the right way. He would make it in less than ten hours if he solved it right. With Hoggle as a guide the brat had no trouble.

He looked at the sleeping woman in his arms, one of her arm’s draped across his chest, and a leg wrapped around his leg and he smiled. He would deal with the boy a bit later; right now he was too busy enjoying the warm feel of Sarah’s body close to his.

Sir Didymus and Ludo were at the Bog of Eternal Stench. Ludo had gotten used to the smell by now. Sir Didymus had come back from a day of adventure, of exploring.

“Ludo, it seemeth that our vagrant Majesty hath received guest at younder Castle,” he said.

“Wha?” Ludo asked. Didymus sighed.

“Jareth has a visitor, Ludo.”

“Oh!” Ludo exclaimed.

“I wonder whom doth indeed brave the Goblin Fortress to stay with the fiend?”

“Wha?”

“I wonder who it is, Ludo.”

They had lived together for ten years, and Sir Didymus had tried and failed to teach the ginger, hairy beast how to talk like a knight and a gentleman.

“Ludo miss Sarah,” Ludo said.

“The maid doth bestir my heart and leads my mind to ponder on how she hath been these ten years past,” Didymus said.

Ludo was just about to ask what Didymus meant by that speech and then worked it out in his head. He roughly translated it as:

“Ludo brother miss Sarah?”

“I do, Sir Ludo, I certainly do.”

A/N - I found this difficult to write but I hope you all liked it. And I'd love a few more reviews please?
