II – SECRET PLACE
CHAPTER II – SECRET PLACE
She turned on her headphones and listened to “Going Under”, how much she loved this tape was inexplicable. She mumbled the words as she walked into the park, through dark and lighted paths she reached the centre of one of the resting areas. She looked up at the big statue… Angels! She loved this place.
“Dad…mum… hi!” “I wish I could see you propose to mum here dad…” she though going around to the statue. The statue was surrounded by 7 sets of steps all around, angels from top to bottom, at the top a warrior angel, she looked upon it “Michael…!” at least it was to her, it resembled her the image of Archangel Michael. She set down on the top step, close to the other angel crouching in front of the statue, wings spread wide like guarding the others. She usually sat down just in front of it as if wanting to be part of this beautiful sight and under its protective wings. She smiled to the statue and leaned on it, took out her book, and let herself be involved by the safety of the Secret Place with the park lamp shining on her.
“Lestat’s Journal… hum, let’s see what secrets you hold for me”
The book was the journal of Vampire Lestat, how he came to be…. How he was turned on the spring of 1788, by an elder vampire called Marius and his life or unlife ever since.
“Marius 400 B.C. that is a long unlife!!!! Lestat, poor Lestat… so much pain… I wonder … is it really like this?!” She sighed and continued to read. She read about human names like Jesse and a David Talbot, who had a fixation for Marius, an Elder vampire and Lestat’s sire. Hours passed, between reading, writing and taking notes of what she’d read, names, dates… she found herself much attracted to that story. Too much!

For those reading this story, I'ts complete ( around 30 something chapters). I'll be publishing a new chapter every week or so. This was my 1st fanfiction my BABY, and It was posted in 2 other sites. The reviews were very good ...hope to get some from you here too...good or bad!!
