Nothing To Fear

Lakota knew that he wasn't going to just let everything go. She heard rumors of this man and knew that when he found someone interesting there was no peace until he got bored. She was tied to the bed she slept on and still no fear came from her. Riddick watched her from the doorway and she just smircked. "It's so nice to know that you like taking what doesn't belong to you."

"Well, if you promise not to attack us I'll untie you." He said to her.

"Yeah like that is true. No I don't attack unless attacked and not when there are children near so you both are safe from me." She growled to him.

Riddick smiled and she shook her head. "You really are a cocky asshole aren't you?"

"And you are someone that needs help but won't admit. So we both have our down falls." He said as he walked towards her.

"If you have my bladesI will get them back. I made them and no one but me will have them." She hissed to him after he untied her.

Before he could say anything he was on the bed on his stomach with her on his back. "Like I said I don't attack unless attacked and if I remember correctly you tackled me and knocked me out. So it is only fair to make it even."

The feel of his body under hers had a reaction that she was very surprised about but still she leaned over hima nd purred into his ear. "Riddick you have made the wrong choice of living arrangements. Find your own place. I like living alone."

"You have 5 seconds to get off him before I blow a hole in you." Jack said from behind her.

"Kid I could kill him and attack you before you ahd a change to pull the trigger plus we were just having a little fun. Can't have a little ole blind woman beening the death of him now can we?" Lakota asked as she slid off him and bounded across the room as he stood up.

Riddick turned and looked at her. She stares right at him though she couldn't see him he knew that she would follow every move that he was planning to make to get to her. Jack walked over to him and shook her head. "You're getting soft Riddick."

"No kid he just knows another animal when he meets one. There are few true animals. Not every human that takes a life has an animal in them. Some and that is most of them just enjoy it. See he was trained to do it and I was forced to do it. We know how to survive." She said as she walked to the door with her back to the wall.

Riddick glared at her knowing she felt it and smiled. "We will talk alone later Lakota. For now you are safe to do what you have to. But we will be addressng the scent I smelt while you were talking to me."

"Only if I was dead Riddick." Lakota said before she walked out of the room.

"You like her don't you Riddick?" Jack asked her.

"No I just find her interesting." Riddick said as he moved to follow her.

Lakota slipped down to her bathroom and walked in. She closed the door and locked it. Then she placed a trap in front of it just in case Riddick decided it was too good to pass up having her in the shower naked. She felt her way to the towels and counted down and found the twin blades that she had placed between the middle towels. She pulled them out and placed them in the shower near the window. She knew that he just make be able to get past the trap she had set. Anyone with half a brain could if they tried.

Riddick followed her scent to the bathroom and laughed. "You have cornered yourself Lakota. Whee can you run to now?"

She smiled as she pulled the hot water handle right and the wall in the back of the shower slid open. She grabbed the blades and slipped through the hole. The wall slid back into place as Riddick kicked through the door and she heard the trap go off. But she knew that he wasn't hit and that he would be trying to figure out where she had gone. It wasn't that she feared him. She learned a long time ago that she didn't have to fear anyone but fear itself. As she slipped through the hidden hall through the wearhouse she wondered if he had check all this out enough to know that she had hidden rooms for things just like this.

"I wonder where you went my little Lakota. You seem to be more impressive then I thought you first were. But don't worry I will find out your ways. Then you will be in my hands and I have a feeling that I won't ever want to let you go." Riddick growled to himself.

Lakota rounded the corner she knew so well and pressed the center of the wall. It slipped a side and she stepped out into the garage and it slid closed behind her. She was free for a few moments and knew that if she had to she would have to run from her new home. They would have her again then. Here she knew that no would give her up because they were all wanted in one place or another. That was why she had chosen this place. "Thought you could get away from me huh?"

"No I know I can get away from you anytime taht I want to. I'm just having a little fun." She said to the man that had appeared behind her from the way she had come.

"I must admit you have done a great job with this place. Even blind you built all yourself didn't you?" He purred into her ear.

"It isn't like I could ask anyone here to help me. We all are criminals in our own ways." She said as she stepped away from him.

"Then why are you showing me this?" He asked her.

"If you want to live here you have to know the ways to escape. This isn't for you. This is for that child in there that loves you more then you know." Shge said to him.

"Did you ever see?" He asked her.

"No I was born blind. I don't even know what I would do if I ever saw anything." She said proudly.

"You know you change subjects quickly when I start talking about that kid with you. Why is that?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"That is none of your business." He growled to her.

"Well two can play that game. None of my life is your business but you sure seem to want it to be." She hissed to him.

"That's because you are interesting. You won't find mean who have no sight that is as dangerous as you are." He said to her.

"I feel I should take that as a good thing from you." She said as she cocked her head to hear a faint sound.

She held of his hand before he could talk. She showed three fingers and slid her other hand across her throat. He knew the meaning and they both drew weapons as the three men crashed into the garage area with guns. "Look boys it seems we have a double pay day here."

"Only if you live to see it." She said with a soft smile.

"What can you do bitch?" The guy growled at her.

She reached behind her and pressed a button. A wall on the other wall opened and four huge cats ran out and attacked the three men with the guns. Riddick couldn't help but smile. He didn't even smell their scents. Had he known he was there he would have killed them so she couldn't use them against him. "You are far to interesting to let go jsut yet."

She spun on him and laughed. "Sorry big boy. I don't stay with people the place is all yours I will be on my way now. As you can see they have found me."

As the last man fell in a bloody heap she disappeared through the hole in the wall that the cats had come from. They followed her without even looking at him. She wasn't getting away from him that easily. Not and live to tell about it.
