Captured
400 years later… (yes you’ve amazingly survived it)
Transylvania…
*IT S..S..SO FREAKING COLD!!* It was dark, snow was flowing down from moonless sky and you were here, standing like a dumb in the middle of the woods. “I can’t believe you did this to me you bastard! You are going to pay for this!” You yelled out into the night, your voice echoed through the emptiness. You growled in frustration and started to walk. The snow was almost up to your knees by now, covering your poor feet completely. You were hungry, tired and *argh pissed off*
You’d been struggling to survive this blizzard for over three miles and were about to give up and jump off some of the cliffs that surrounds this wood when you saw a light a head off you *Please be a village..please please* You shook some snow off your cloths and took off to that direction.
It took only half an hour to get there and thank god it was actually a village, Vaseria, according to the sign which you stared in horror. You’d heard so much about this town and wished you were anywhere but her. *Well not much of a choice* You strode over to the nearest house, well a shack to be more specific. You knocked on the door but there was no answer. You knocked again, still no answer “Hey is there anybody in there? I got lost and wonder if you could give me some help?” this time a man yelled.
“Go away you demon! You can’t trick me!!”
“I am no demon! I’m only a traveller! Would you help me?!” You banged on the door impatiently.
“Strangers can’t be trusted here neither! You are not welcome in this holy land! Leave! Or I’ll use my cross on you!”
“Holy town? It’s more like a damned land from what I’ve heard! and you can stuff that cross down my throat! I won’t feel a thing cause I’m not a demon!” *Geez are they all paranoid here?* “Actually I won’t feel anything now cause I’m freezing to death” you mumbled to yourself
There is no answer. You sigh. It’s not like you expect them to open up for a stranger that easily anyway, especially in this part of Europe. They have been living in horror for too long. “but hey! What about an sweet, innocent, harmless strange? They’ll just leave me stand here frozen to death? “ you yelled out your thoughts out loud.
It worked. He answered. “And you’ll just open your door to a stranger in a night like this?! No way!” his door still close.*But he’s talking to me now, that’s a good sign*
“A night like what? Look what you want me to do to make you trust me?” *smooth* your throat started to hurt from yelling. The blizzard made you hear almost nothing.
Suddenly you found yourself soak with cold water from head to toe.*Oh my gosh! Did he just..?* “What the hell are you think you’re doing!?!” You kicked the door in anger.”Am I not freezing enough?! You wanna kill me !?”
“Hopefully, That’s a Holy Water. Since now that you’re unharmed I’ll let you in” there’s a clicking voice as the man unlocking the door.
*Great.. he has to kill me before saving me.* “What did you mean by a ‘night like this’ anyway?” You ask.
“Well tonight the vampires usually come out and fed on people” his tone was deathly serious.
“Wha..”You are cut short by shrieking voice coming from the sky. You look up and see..
“OH MY GOD! LET ME IN!” you’re banging on the door like a lunatic right now.
Three vampires were flying in the sky. The wind from their wings cleared the snowing blizzard out of their way so they are clearly in your sight, unfortunately, you are in theirs too. You quickly turned to run into the house but not before the door slamed in your face. *Coward* You left the house, ran as fast as you could, to where you do not know *Argh! I’m going to kill HIM for this* Being stranger in this town is hard enough to find a place to stay, now that you’re a stranger with three vampires aftering your ass there’s no possibility to get any help around here. You run into what seem to be a church but were stopped by a red head vampire. “You think you can run away from us, dear?” she hissed and grabbed your shoulder. You dip your hand in to a basin of holy water just in time before she yanked you back violently made you flew five feet away and fell in the town square. The blond vampire grabe your hair “Hello little one” her eyes turned cat like. You scratched here face with the same hand you just dipped into the basin. She screamed in rage, here face was melting. You were running again, to the only manor in this town. Something crashed on you made you lose your balnce and hit the door hard. This time you saw it’s a black hair vampire. She grabed your throat, choking you. “Enough playing, it’s time for eating!” she bared her fangs. “No!!” your scream echoed the night..
The door behind you burst open and once again you felt you were soak by… the vampire screamed… Holy Water. A dark figured pushed pass you and about to stuff a croos in the vampire face when she flew off. You watched the sky and saw the others took off to, back to the castle upon the mountain. The figured turned to you. He was a very handsome young man with shoulder length brown hair and eyes of the same colour. “And what would be the name of the person I’ve just saved?” he asked. His voice, like his eyes. was soft and warm. You tell him your name and gave him a smile which he returned it. You like the welcoming tone in his voice.
“And what would be the name of my savior? I thought I wasn’t welcome here” you asked back.
He chuckled “Pardon me, my name is Velkan. I’m so sorry for our unwelcoming behavior. You must forgive my people. There hasn’t been many uh… nice stranger here for a long time”
You laughed “I can see why and I forgave them a minute ago already” he smiled and walk you to the living room let you sit by the fireplace to keep you warm.
“Sorry about the Holy Water thing either. I don’t have a stake around then” he handed you a towel.
“Well obviously you’re not the first one to have that kind of problem” you wipe the water off your face. You were getting warm now.
“So my house is not the first you visit” he walk to a bar “Would you like something to drink?”
“Anything triple would be great, thank you” you wished you would stop shaking.
“OK” he tried not to laughed and handed you a glass of amber liquid “I’ll show you to your room”
“This means I’ll stay?” the drink warmed your body
“Of course, you’ll stay. How can I let a lovely young lady go out side and feed herself to the vampires?” he rose and helped you up “Come on, you don’t want to sit here all night”
You followed him. He walked you to the west wing of the manor. The decoration was mostly weapon. There were weaponries everywhere. Your room was on the second floor. It’s not too big nor elegant but it’s comfy, and that’s all you nedd for now.
“I hope you like this room. A bit shabby, but it’s the only guest room that ready to be used right now. As I told you, we don’t have many visitor you” he stopped at the doorway, not coming in with you.
You opened the other door to the balcony “Well at least you got a nice view”
The cold breeze was in your hair. The blizzard stopped now. Velkan didn’t say anything so you turned back to him and found that he was staring at you.
“This is very nice, tha…” You didn’t have your chance to finished the sentence for crawls grabbed your upper arms and lift you up. Velkan ran to the balcony yelling out your name *Urgh I’m tired of this.” You heard low chukle from above your head intead of high shireking voice of the brides’ so you looked up to find this time it wasn’t any of the brides. The large bat creature that now holding was Dracula himself.
