Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Hard Time with Van Helsing

Jessica felt him pull on her arm more as he lead her to a picture that was on the wall. "Why are we here?" She asked lookng at the photo on the wall.

"You want me to take you to Dracula's castle."

"Of course." She said looking over her shoulder at him. "But why are we infront of this picture?"

"I am taking you to Dracula's Castle." Van Helsing said again getting a tad bit irritated from her questions.

She looked at him. She knew that she was pissing him off for the hell of it. Her heart pounded rapidly in her head. She felt like she wanted to kiss him, but she didn't want to do it. "But... I am sorry Helsing. I am just worried."

"Worried about seeing your parents. Just remember to be careful. Vampires tend to bite quickly."

Jessica looked right into his brown eyes. "I know what they do Helsing. I am sorry, but my parents will always be my parents."

"They are blood thirsty vampires." Van Helsing yelled.

She smacked him across the face.

Van Helsing held his cheek. "You wanted me to lead you to Dracula's castle. Well Miss Jessica I am not taking you to his castle after you thit me."

Jessica stormed off. She felt bad for hitting Van Helsing. She was just mad that he was being mean to her. She walked up the coordoors finding a room to stay in. She ran a hand through her hair and looked out the window. She couldn't believe that Van Helsing wasn't going to help her now. She sat down on the bed and looked at the full moon. She knew Vampires wouldn't be out during a full moon because of werewolves.

There was a loud knock on the door. Van Helsing came into the room. "I am sorry about earlier."

She looked up at him and removed her hat. "I am sorry that I slapped you." She said softly getting up and removing her leather trench coat that she had been wearing since she started this trip.

Van Helsing held his breath. He was looking at her in the moonlite. He couldn't help it but stare at her because she was beautiful in the moonlite. Her blonde hair seem to glisen with the moonlite.

She looked at him confused. "Helsing?" She asked walking up towards him.

"Huh." He looked into her blue eyes. "Sorry did you say something?"

"You were staring. Why?"

"Never mind Miss Jessica."

"Call me Jessica... Just Jessica." She said feeling a tad bit odd being called Miss Jessica.

"Alright Jessica."

"So... who's house was this?" She asked looking around the bed room. "This can't be the place of the famous Van Helsing."

"It use to be Anna's. She's gone though."

"Oh I am sorry." She said looking down at the ground.

Van Helsing walked up to her. He put his hand on her shoulder. "I will help you find your parents."

She looked up at him. "Thank you."

He pushed a strand of hair away from her face. "I will make sure that no more families are ripped apart from vampires."

She nodded her head. "Thank you Van Helsing."

At Dracula's castle...

A woman stood there watching her husband pace around. "We should give up looking for her."

"No.. She is our daughter. We will find her and turn her into a vampire. Dracula promised us that he would get our daughter."

The woman hissed at him. "Our daughter would've become his bride. I wasn't going to let our daughter be the fourth bride to that horrific vampire."

The man hissed at her. "Jessica deserves an eternal life like we do Valrin. We will give her that eternal life. Dracula wanted that for our daughter."
