YAY!!! I'm so glad everyone likes it so far. My 3 reviews, and the many hits has made me happy, so I thought I would add Chapter 2 sooner than I had planned. ^_^ I hope you continue to like it.
Thanks to my friend Kit for being my beta.

Sarah blinked rapidly a few times, but her vision wouldn’t clear. It was pitch black and deep down she hoped that was because it was truly pitch black and not that her eyes had failed her. It smelled odd and was a little cold, though she did not ache as if she had fallen hard. She reached out gingerly. Her hand met cold stone that was rough and smooth at the same time. Slowly she felt around trying to find a door, or something. The rock beneath her hand sometimes became wet and in other places had some sort of vegetation that she did not want to think about.
Upon finding nothing at all that would help her out of her stone tomb, but now certain she had a few feet in a small circle about the size of a closet, she resolved herself to sit down again. Her mind rolled over the last few minutes. She had finished reading to Toby, then their normal chase for bed, his usual tantrum, the book in her hand, her door. Sarah shook her head. This was just a dream. She couldn’t be back in the Labyrinth. The stress had gotten to her, that must be it.
She tried taking a few deep breaths. This was no more than the dreams she had of being paralyzed and not being able to move, or her teeth falling out. She must have just fallen asleep as soon as she had gone to her bed.
There was a grinding noise that made Sarah jump. She closed her eyes tightly, her heart racing. If this wasn’t a dream, if she was back…I can’t face him, she thought, I’m not ready!
“Sarah!” The rough exclamation made her eyes fly open, and nearly fill with tears.
“Hoggle!” She threw herself at the tiny, old dwarf, wrapping her arms around his neck. “I’m so glad it’s you.”
The dwarf huffed at her while patting her back awkwardly. “Alright there Sarah. T’aint nuffin.” He looked around quickly. “Let’s get you outta this oubliette before that bastard Jareth shows his face.” He patted her shoulder again and helped her the rest of the way out.
Sarah had to blink rapidly in order to get her eyes to adjust to the brilliantly sunny day. She took a deep breath and found that not much had changed at all. The air was intoxicating, and the walls of the Labyrinth were beautifully covered in wild flowers and vines. Not everything is as it seems, she reminded herself sternly. She looked down at Hoggle to find that he also looked exactly the same. His skin was still leathery from the sun, and he wore the same old breeches, with a vest over his shirt. She smiled when she notice he still also had the bracelet.
He gave her an agitated look. “Well come on!” He hobbled down the path. “No use standin here in plain sight. Unless yer wanting to be caught.” Sarah jumped a little.
Her chest tightened. “I’m not dreaming, am I Hoggle?”
The dwarf turned back towards her. “Course not Sarah. “ He said gruffly, his normally harsh features dissolving into concern. “Didn’t you come back on purpose? You promised ter try ter visit like we did so long ago.”
Her eyes welled up with tears. Hoggle genuinely started to panic.
“Not ere Sarah, eyes every where.” He grabbed her had and started pulling her through the many twists and turns.
She didn’t pay attention to where they were going. It wouldn’t matter if she had since the Labyrinth was always shifting, changing. It was like it was alive. She smiled weakly as she remembered how frustrated she had been with the damn thing before. Hoggle came to a stop in front of a large black wall.
“Ahhhhhh!” He said and patted her hand before letting it go. “Here we are then.”
“There’s nothing there Hoggle.” She said softly. The marble glimmered and consumed the light all at once. The dwarf smiled at her.
“Forgotten how things work down here already?” He asked. He pulled a small piece of chalk from his pocket and limped up closer to wall where he drew a door. After he gave the final touch of a small round doorknob, he knocked three times. Sarah watched on in amazement as the outline shimmered and then the door swung open easily enough as though it had been there for centuries.
Numbly she followed him through the tiny door though like the last time she had followed him home she had to duck in the short room. Inside there were several small wooden chairs with a table to match. There was little much else, a small wood burning stove with a tea pot, and cot against one of the stone walls. Hoggle pulled one of the chairs out and dusted it off nervously.
“Dun gets much company.” He looked embarrassed. “Not many come by ya know.” He grumbled.
“It’s alright Hoggle.” She sat down, her head barely missing the ceiling. Hoggle shuffled over to the other chair.
“Now what’s happened?”

Jareth lounged in the large window staring out over his kingdom. His hands idly made a small crystal ball dance in the sunlight. It rolled and dipped, flew and froze in his hands. He smiled to himself. A smile that would have sent all of his goblins running.
“It’s only forever”
