Prologue - Spock
Prologue pt 2: Spock
I am Spock. I… do not possess what most earth being refers to as a ‘last name’.
I am of mixed origin. My father is a High Minister on Vulcan. My mother, a human ambassador from the planet Earth.
I do not have much to state in this… prologue.
I am … flawed. I have been noted to possess more Vulcan physiological features than that of a human.
The origin of my father’s home world is as simple as it is complex. The Vulcan is born with a ferocity unlike the galaxy has ever seen. We are primal, and because of this years of training in mediation, and other traditions I cannot speak of... must be used in order to achieve clarity and true control over our emotions.
What many do not know… is that there is a ‘true ruler’ to Vulcan. And because of this there have been… complications over diplomacy throughout the galaxy. As more planets are discovered, the federation seeks to create alliances and exchange knowledge.
Species that are hostile with unknown weaponry… are not logical to approach without proper knowledge and planning. The High Council is seeking Starfleet to monitor and explore these areas, as if they are dogs looking for land mines.
The rulers of the Earthen planet have discovered these intentions… and are about to wage a silent war with Vulcan.
I.. express concern for my mother. She experiences worry too often for someone of her age and health.
I need…

I desire… a solution to the impending conflict.
I hope that this marriage will ignite the start to this solution….
But in the words of my mate to be…
