Race for Life
CHAPTER 20: RACE FOR LIFE (NC-17 MATURE READERS ONLY!!)

Mike is driving furiously, going about 90mph. He keeps looking in the rearview mirror and shaking his head. Eva realizes he is on something, probably cocain. She can tell by how flared up his nostrils are.
"Mike, where are we going?" she says with a calm voice, she knows how to deal with people on drugs. She had done it so many times before with her own brother.
"I don't know......... I just need to get away from them" he says running his hand through his hair.
"Who?" she says, he wasn't making any sense. He looks over to her and begins to laugh.
"You have no idea what your brother has done this time do you?" he looks scared and wasted.
"Why don't you tell me then Mike?. I know Oscar didn't try to kill anyone" she's beginning to get scared at what he might say.
"Maybe not, but she did, they're setting him up.....you see your brother knows to much. They think he might of shared some info with me, but I don't know" he's agitated and is sweating.
"She? Who is they? Mike please tell me already!" tears were coming down her face from frustration.
Mike looks at his rear view mirror and can see the lights of a car approaching fast. Eva looks back at the car following them and looks back at Mike.
"Her name is Blanca. You'll know her when you see her. Your brother got into business with her but he got in a little to close, he started witnessing things he shouldn't have. They decided he was a threat to them. Blanca tried to kill her drug partner and set it up so it looked like your brother did it." now he was going 110mph and the car still close behind.
"Mike please slow down, were not in a race!" she's grab on on to the sides and straps her seat belt on.
"Oh but that's were your wrong, we are in a race..............a race for our lives" the car behind them begins to beep the horn and flash their lights. Eva twists around to get a better look at the car and it's a red Honda S2000 the same one she had seen at the races. The Honda pulls up next to Mikes' car by Eva's side and the window goes down.
Eva tries to catch a glimpse of the person driving but at the speed they're going everything looks blurry. Now Eva can see a gun out of the window. Panic takes over her body, the situation was getting real.
"Oh fuck!" is all Eva gets to say as shots are fired. The first shot hits Eva's window shattering it to pieces. Eva's screams and slumps down trying to get out of shooting range. The next bullet hits Mikes arm.
"Shit!,,,,, fucking bitch!" Mikes is slightly shoot ist is still driving.
"Oh Jesus,.. Mike!" Eva says as she hears another shot fired and a tire blows. Mike loses control and the car begins spinning out of control, the car hit's the divider and begins to flip to the other side landing on a ravine upside-down. The car quickly begins to become consumed with water. Eva is knocked out cold.
*.......Eva can hear the sounds of a train approaching. In the distance she can see a bright light coming towards her, she hears her brother laughing and sees Mike standing on the train tracks. She tries to get to them but she can't move, she opens her mouth to yell but nothing comes out. Her tears are rolling down her face, the veins on her neck are popping out as she strains to get the words out....... she can't breathe, she's choking on her last breath....*
Eva opens her eyes and she's under water, she lifts her body up in a sit up position and comes out choking taking a deep breath. She feels dizzy and everything is spinning. She can hear the water splashing all over, she looks over to Mike but he's not moving. She goes for her seat belt but it doesn't come off, it's stuck.
"Shit!" she huffs. She yanks, pulls and tugs at it but it doesn't budge. From the sheer panic she begins to scream as the water rises cutting off her air supply. A figure appears next to her, Eva looks to her side and can see it's a girl, she has long blonde hair, it almost looks white, her skin is pale and she looked albino and was dressed all in black. Eva couldn't make out her features, she was beginning to get dizzy, she needed air, she keeps looking at the girl until she becomes fuzzy to Eva's vision and she passes out.
