DREAM DATE (DA PAST)
Dev and Venom had been dancing for what seemed like an eternity. “Full Moon,” by Brandy, began to play when all of the club hoppers turned towards the entrance. The girls turned their heads as well to see what all the commotion was about. There, standing all in black, was Lestat.
His curly locks were just Gorgeous. And Oh My God…those eyes were piercing. He had on a long black leather coat, a black velvet shirt, which was partially unbuttoned, tight black leather pants and black boots. His outfit was sure to compliment Dev’s. She had on a tight pair of black leather pants with a black leather top, with the back out and black army boots. The crowd began to hoot and holler as Lestat graced the club with his presence.
Dev’s mouth opened but only drool came out.
Venom compensated by saying, “Damn, well I’ll be a pile of melting chocolate butter.”
She nudged Dev on the arm to bring her out her “Lestatzone.”
“Dev, are you aight?” Venom asked with a smirk on her face.
Dev’s voicebox was clearly out to lunch so she just nodded her head.
Lestat seemed to be scanning the club deeply, for his date. Razure approached him and informed him that his date was there.
Beth took this as a hint to rush over to her girls and gave Dev her support. She greeted her friends while they waited for Razure to “announce” the winner for the date. Five minutes later, Razure took the stage and announced to the crowd that the winner would be named at that time. Dev grabbed Beth and Venom’s hands and squeezed them tightly.
“And the winner is…Dev!” Razure said with a lot of excitement.
In unison, Beth and Venom both screamed “Surprise” and congratulated her.
Dev became so overwhelmed that she passed out. Her girls picked her up off the floor and tried to bring her out of the foggy haze. From out of nowhere a kewl and sweet breeze flowed their way. As Beth and Venom glanced up, they saw Lestat blowing his breath on Dev. The aroma he was emitting was intoxicating and left the girls breathless. As if she were given the “breath of life,” Dev began to moan as she stirred in her friend’s arms.
“Glad to see my beauty has awakened for me,” Lestat said with a sexy tone.
He took Dev by the hand and kissed her palm.
“Hello, we haven’t formally met. I’m Lestat and you must be my beauty for tonight.”
Dev just nodded.
“Great, I’m glad that you are her. That makes me so very happy,” he said.
Razure interrupted the rather heated introduction to wish them well on their date.
“Well, I guess that’s our cue to pursue the journey that awaits us. Say farewell to your friends and let’s be on our way…my beauty,” Lestat said in his very seductive voice.
Dev said “farewell” to her girls as she took Lestat’s hand and walked out of the club. Once the delightful aroma of the night breeze caressed their pale skin, Lestat embraced Dev and flew to their destination. Dev screamed of shocked at first but then began to relax in her mate’s arms.
“Shhhh my beauty, fear not for you are with me now. You are forever safe with me.”
Lestat took her to new “heights” and back during their exploration of Earth’s Glory.
“Ahh Lestat, this is so beautiful. I want to feel this freedom forever,” Dev said in awe of the beauty within him and Earth.
“Your wish is my command,” Lestat said as they landed near the ocean.
It was simply magnificent. The waves were crashing against the rocks and sand. The sky was purple, pink, and orange.
He took her in his arms and asked her if she was sure about this and she said “Hellz Yes.”
He laughed and pushed back the hair from her neck. She leaned back against his chest and sighed heavily. He took in her scent of baby oil and perfume and sunk his fangs into her aching neck. She let out a howling cry of pleasure and pain as he devoured the metallic taste of her blood. He then slashed his wrist and held it up to her awaiting lips. She lapped at his wrists to get use to the taste. Then she began to suck at his wrist until he commanded her to stop. Both of them were breathing purrty harshly and were very spent. He carried her to his favorite spot and watched over her while she began the transformation. Afterwards, they both fell asleep in each other’s arms.

BETH’S DESCTRUCTIVE PLAN
Beth called Viper on the way to Dev’s house. She told him that her car wasn’t working and she wanted him to take a look at it. She pulled a few wires here and there for him to work on. She knew just enough about cars to know what to mess with and what not to.
He asked her why she just didn't call XXX. She massaged his ego with a few flattering words. He then agreed and told her he’d be there in 15 minutes. What Beth didn’t know was that the lead Fang member of “Mystic Reign” lived in her hood.
His name was ThunderKat; he used to be Viper’s best friend. He was a member of “Acid Reign” but he wanted to be king over his own flock. So, he started his own fang, ending their long time friendship.
He started working on the car once he got there. He didn’t understand how all of those wires got detached. It took him an hour to fix the car. He headed towards the Club afterwards. Viper didn’t know that ThunderKat was tailing him. He had seen Viper’s car roll up in front of Beth’s place. He arrived at the club twenty minutes later. TK wasted no time confronting him.
“Yo Vip, what were you doing in my hood?” TK asked.
“In your hood? Man I didn’t know. I was there trying to fix a friend’s car,” Viper said.
“Vip, I Know You Knew I Had Moved. I Told Stryker,” TK accused.
By this time, TK was becoming hostile and he pulled out his gun.
“What The Hell, T?. You Don’t Want To Do This. I Swear…Stryker Didn’t Tell Me,” Viper yelled.
The yelling had caused several people to run out of the club. Among the spectators were Venom and Razure. Viper tried to reason with him to put the gun down. TK wasn’t hearing him though. He saw Venom in the crowd and he pointed it to her.
“Noooo, Leave Her Out of This. She’s Innocent. This Is Between You And I, TK!!”
Razure went to cover Venom with his body but it was too late. TK had pulled the trigger, hitting Venom is the abdominal area. Her body instantly hit the kold hard ground.
Beth screamed, “Oh No!” as she ran outside.
Razure yelled “Nooooo!” as he stood by her limp body. He felt for a pulse and found a slight one.
“She’s breathing…Thank God,” he yelled letting everyone know that she was still alive.
TK dropped the gun and bounced. Viper was hott on his trail. He caught him and brought him back to the club but not before throwing him a beating. Razure had called Five-O and they along with the ambulance would be there within ten minutes.
Venessa was put on a gurney immediately once the ambulance showed up. Beth went with her to St. Annes hospital, She tried to call Dev twice, but her cell was turned off. Five-O began questioning people at the scene. Officer O’Connor had questioned Razure and Viper about the shooting. Viper explained to him that TK must’ve followed him from Beth’s house. And that he approached him looking for a fight and blah blah blah.
THREE HOURS LATER
Dev had awoken in her sire’s arms. He had been watching her sleep peacefully for an hour. After her first feeding, she needed her rest. She was scared as hell, but Lestat was there to get her through it.
“How do you feel beautiful?” Lestat asked.
“I feel…I feel freeee!” Dev said as she began to soar in the sky.
