This is a crossover smutty story featuring the character of
Tess/Salida ie Tess' Voice in Neon class=SpellE>Dasies' OUATIM fics on ff.net,
More Than Eyes Alone Can See, andstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'> More Than Life, and Sands/Jeffrey from
Merrie's OUATIM fic on ff.net, Darkness Rising. This story will make some
sense, probably, if you read it without having read either of our stories, but
itmakemake a hell of a lot more if you just read them. They're all worth
reading, we promise. Anyway, on with the show.
Rated for what has happened, and what might happen.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We’re really not quite sure
ourselves. On with the story.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeffrey approached the door to he
and Salida’s bedroom at seven sharp and knocked on the door since she had
closed it. “Vixen? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m back. n
sn
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s time to open more fucking presents so we
can get ready, ok? The reservations are
for
late.”
“Come in.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jeffrey opened the door only to find Salida
still sed sed in sweats and a t-shirt, her hair tumbling loose around her
shoulders. The only thing that had changed
was she’d brought all the boxes into their room, and that she’d opened all the
ones with his clothes in them. The
shirts hung from various pieces of furniture in the room, and his suit was laid
out on the bed. But her boxes, he
noticed, were all piled at the foot of the bed.
“Well, you’ve been
fucking busy, I see,” he said with a smirk, surveying the scattered items of
clothing throughout the room. “Remember
what I said though. You get to choose
what I wear tonight. Not me. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m hoping that’s not a fucking mistake. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I don’t think it is,” he said with a laugh,
moving to stand next to her before his expression turned slightly serious. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “You do
like the suit at least?” he said with a slight frown, hoping that she did or
else that would probably make choosing clothing for him to wear tonight
difficult, and like he had said, the restaurant wouldn’t hold their reservation
if they were late.
She shrugged, but
gave him a one-sided smile. “Does that
mean I get to see you in something other than black and red if I want?”
Jeffrey sighed, but
nodded. “That’s what I said. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You get to pick whatever you want. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But I’m goio hao have to wear the suit at
least. It’s a fucking fancy restaurant,”
he said with a shrug.
“Okay.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Looking at her pile of belongings with her
own sigh, she said, “I’m almost afraid to see what you got.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m sure you spent more than you needed to.”
Jeffrey waved a
hand at her dismissively and snorted. “Don’t
fucking worry about that. class=GramE>What the hell else am I going to spend money on? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’ve never understood that about you. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Sure, I agree, don’t fucking waste money, but
if I can’t spend it on you, my fucking wife, then what can spend it on? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Just open the fucking boxes, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Don’t worry about the cost. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Worry about what you’re going to fucking wear
tonight.”
Salida didn’t take
the time to explain that it almost seemed like stealing another man’s money,
because it didn’t even make sense to her.
Sands was part of Jeffrey, Jeffrey was part of Sands.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Their money was theirs, which meant that she shouldn’t feel bad that her husband
splurged on her . . . now and then. She
still didn’t like it, but it wasn’t a matter of concern at the moment.
Deciding just to
jump right in, Salida picked up one of the clothing boxes.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She half expected dresses, in black or red,
so when she saw a hint of blue, she was surprised.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The lid fell to the floor, and she pulled the
bundle of soft material out, letting it fall from her hands until she could see
what she was holding.
With a wince, she observed
the cobalt blue cocktail dress. While
she didn’t have much of a problem with the style, the color just seemed . . .
gaudy to her. Red's not, but this is. Y
th
that makes sense. She didn’t need to
make sense; she was insane. “I hope you
got more than this, lover.”
Jeffrey laughed. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I’m somewhat relieved you said that, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Open the other fucking boxes.”
She did so, doubt
beginning to creep in. If the rest of
the dresses were like the first, she wasn’t going to be happy.
The second dress
was long enough that she had to stand to see it completely.style='mso-spacerus'> s'> She had to admit that it was nice – designed
on very classic lines – and that she might even enjoy
wearing it. But it was very dark, a
shade darker than
she didn’t want to wear dark colors tonight.
Nodding her head
noncommittally, she set it aside and opened the last box, hoping that it was
better than the first one at least. She
wasn’t disappointed. She fell in love
with the ice blue silk before she even got it out of the box, and once she was
holding it up, she loved it even more.
Holding it up
against her body, she smoothed it down, moving to look in the mirror.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was sleeveless, had a v-neck, and a demure
slit in the back. But what she loved
about it was how it seemed made to practically skim over the body inside it; to
float on a layer of air, never quite touching the skin.style='mso-spacerun'> '> This was the dress she would wear tonight.
With a trembling
smile, she turned back to her watching husband, and just looked at him.
“We have a winner,
I take it?” he said with a smile, just sitting down on the edge of the bed and
looking back at her. “It’s good to see
you smile, vixen. Even if it is a bit on
the fucking hesitant side,” he said with a small laugh. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “But you’re not done with the boxes. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And you haven’t told me what I’m wearing yet. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Come on, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You’re killing me here. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not a patient man, remember? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Twirl around with the fucking dress to your
heart’s content later. Open the rest of
the boxes.”
Trying to put off
looking into what she was sure were jewelry boxes, Salida picked up what she
thought were shoes. Sitting down beside
him, she lifted the top, letting out a small laugh when she saw the stilettos.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Picking them up, she looked at them, then at
her husband. “You realize that my feet
are going to freeze in these, right?”
Jeffrey shrugged. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “So what if they do? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You’ll live,” he said with a bit of a sardonic
laugh. “And if that’s your only fucking
complaint, then I’d say I did a pretty fucking good job today.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He nodded a head toward the jewelry boxes she
had been avoiding. “They’re not going to
bite, vixen. And it looks like those are
the only ones left.”
Salida made a face
at him, but reluctantly reached for the smallest bag anyway.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Taking a deep breath, she reached inside and
pulled out the first box that met her hand.
Not quite daring to look, she quickly opened it, then
let her eyes flick over what was in her hand.
It was enough to see a large amount of blue.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> With a small gasp, she looked again, and
picked up the bracelet, astounded. “Jeffrey,”
she breathed, not sure what to think. “Tell
me you’re just renting.”
“Uh . . . I’m just
renting?” Jeffrey said, not bothering to sound the least bit convincing.
“What am I supposed
to do with this?” she asked. “It isn’t
some bauble to wear around the house.”
“Who the fuck says?
If you want to wear it around the house,
then fucking do it. If not, then wear it
on fucking special occasions,” he said with a shrug. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Just wear it, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Enjoy it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Don’t fucking worry about it.”
She looked at him,
then suddenly laughed out loud and kissed him passionately, leaning against him
enough that he had to put a hand behind him to stay sitting up.
When she had pulled
away, he looked at her quizzically. “I
really don’t fucking understand you sometimes, vixen,” he said joining her
infectious laugh somewhat hesitantly. “What
the fuck was that all about? And don’t
forget, there are still a few more boxes to open.”
She shook her
head. “I think you keep me from taking
myself too seriously sometimes,” she informed him, leaning in to kiss him
again, knowing it wouldn’t kill the boxes to wait a bit longer.
He pulled away
again long enough to talk, “Well that’s good, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You start taking life too fucking seriously
and you’ll wind up going crazy. Well . .
. crazier,” he said with a laugh before allowing him to kiss him again. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He gave himself fully to her kisses, knowing
that she was trying ut out off opening the other boxes but not fully caring at
the moment.
When Salida turned
away, it was to tease him with her words.
“Well, if you’ve gone through the hassle of buying me so many presents,
I think you should get some good out of them.
And I think I know how to put them to their best effect.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But you’ll need to give me five minutes to
myself after we get back from dinner.”
She was planning on wearing her jewels to bed,
and not much else.
Jeffrey raised an
eyebrow and looked at her. “I’m not
entirely sure what you have in mind, but I’m liking
the sound of it so far,” he said with a smirk. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Fine, you’ll have your minutes,” he agreed with a nod, not intending to give her any more
than that. “Now, are you going to open
the rest and start getting ready or aren't you? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You’re trying my fucking patience, vixen,” he
said wryly, leaning over to nip at her neck. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He wanted to do more than that, especially
after her teasing words, but he had made too many fucking plans for it to all
to go to waste now.
She sighed, but
decided to go ahead and do it. Reag
ig
into the bag again, she pulled out a larger box.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> When she opened it, she found the
necklace. After another round of “thanks,”
she pulled out the last box style='mso-spacerun:yes'> pensively.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was the right size to have a ring inside
it, but she sincerely hoped it wasn’t one.
She had a ring, and she never wanted another.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Glancing at Jeffrey, she opened the box, very
relieto fto find a pair of earrings.
This time she was
only able to attempt thanking Jeffrey before he pushed her away with a warning
that if she kept this up, he’d have to do something drastic because he wasn’t
going to let the previous afternoon go to waste.
“Fine, lover.”style='mso-spacerus'> s'> She stuck her tongue out at him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “If you feel that way, I’ll just go into the
bathroom and get dressed then.”
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jeffrey moved in to grab at her before she
could make good on that half-threat. “You,
my distracting little vixen, are
going to get dressed, and soon, but first I’m going to get that defiant tongue
of yours. . .” he trailed off with a wicked smirk, pulling her flush to him and
attacking her mouth with fervor. He was
eventually able after a bit of play to coax her into deepening the kiss, and he
did so without further hesitation. e
ke
kissed her, his hands moved along her back, waist and lower, just touching her.
He wanted to hold her and reassure
himself that she was his by simple touch alone. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I love you, vixen,” he said, pulling away and
giving her a gentle nudge in the direction of the bathroom. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Now go and get dressed before you fucking
distract me any further and we never leave this fucking room, or more
accurately, this bed, all night.”
“What makes you
think that’d upset me? And wasn’t I
supposed to make suggestions as to your
wardrobe this evening?”
Jeffrey sighed, his
patience waning. “I know it wouldn’t
upset you, but I want to do this for you, vixen, alright? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Maybe that’s fucking selfish of me, but I don’t
really care. I want to take you out. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I want to show you a few surprises. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And yes, you’re supposed to pick out what I
wear tonight.”
“White shirt, blue
tie,” she told him, daring him to complain about not getting to wear the deep,
burgundy red shirt that was just out of reach.
Jeffrey couldn’t
keep the slight look of distaste from crossing his face. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “That’s what you really want me to wear? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Why not the – no, wait, fucking forget I said
anything. If that’s what you want me to
fucking wear,n son so be it. This is style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>your night. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You just might have to remind me of that when
I see myself in the mirror,” he said with a small smile.
“I’ll remind you
that we still match,” she said with a smile, blowing him a kiss before turning
to go get dressed.
Stripping, she
looked at the dress. It was a one of a
kind, without tags or labels. Salida was
relieved to find that despite its appearance, there was a slip sewn into the
inside of the dress, not to mention a bit of support; the back was too low to
wear a bra, and without the slip, every detail of her body would have been
apparent.
Getting the dress
on, she reached behind her and zipped it up, admiring what she could see of
herself in the mirror. She liked what
she saw.
Next she pulled on
a pair of stockings, which she kept in a drawer next to the sink.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Smoothing her skirt back down, she picked up
the combs from the counter. She’d been
experimenting with them during the long afternoon.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Now that she’d seen what she was going to
wear, she knew what she wanted to do.
She’d noticed how Jeffrey liked to play with her hair, and so she
decided to leave it down for him. Using the
smaller combs to pull the strands near her face back and out of the way, she
then put on a light cover of make-up.
Some silvery-blue eye shadow to emphasize her eyes and the dress, some
ruby red lipstick, and she was done. All
that was left to put on were the earrings; she’d decided to let Jeffrey put on
the other pieces of jewelry. style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>As well as take them off, she thought
with a devious grin. Blowing herself a
kiss, she breezed out of the bathroom . . .
. . . class=GramE>to find her husband cursing softly but vigorously at his
tie.
“I hate these
goddamned fucking things. I always make
Sands fucking tie them,” Jeffrey muttered, having heard her come out of the
bathroom but not looking up. He cursed
and fought with the tie for a brief second more before looking up. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> His hands stilled and his jaw dropped in a
slight gape. “Oh,” he mumbled before
enough blood found its way back to his brain to allow him the ability to form
coherent sentences again. “You look
beautiful, vixen,” he said at last.
She actually
blushed, but recovered quickly. “There’s
a compliment I don’t often hear while still dressed.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Crossing the room, she batted Jeffrey’s hands
away from his neck, and deftly tied the tie for him.
“You’re right,” he
said with a small nod. “You’re absolutely
exquisite without a stitch on, bu thi this case I guess I’ll have to make a
fucking exception,” he said with a wink before looking down at the tie she had
tied. “Thank God. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I thought I’d be here all fucking night trying
to tie that fucking thing.” He looked
back up at her again and smiled, running a hand through her hair slowly. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “You left your hair down,” he commented,
obviously pleased that she had done such a thing. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Well you already know you look fucking
beautiful. So, how about me? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Do I meet your fucking expectations? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I don’t like wearing white, but I suppose the
blue’s alright. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And you’re right about the matching.”
“To tell you the
truth, I’d prefer to see you in all black – it makes your skin look like ivory,”
It’s so sexy, she added to
herself. “But I thought that might be
just a little close to home. And yes,
you looked almost good enough to eat.”
“Black on black? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> That’s Sands’ thing, not mine,” he sighed. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “But if that’s what you really want, it’s
alright. This is your night, remember? If you
want me to see me in all black, then that’s what youget.get. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s not hard to change. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But you're definitely going to have to retie
my fucking tie. And ‘good enough to eat?’
Well, that’s good, I suppose. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You’lt yot your chance later,” he said with a
smirk.
“No,” she said,
stopping him as he tried to get the other shirt.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> With her hands on his chest, restraining him,
she said, “I want us to match. That’s
what I want. Someday if you buy me a
black dress, then I might insist on black on black.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But this is what I want tonight.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Now, help me put on the rest of my jewelry.”
“Alright,” Jeffrey
said, allowing a bit of relief to tint his voice. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He moved to attach the bracelet around her
left wrist first before grabbing the pendant and holding it over her shoulders
as he stood behind her. “Lift your hair,”
he whispered. When she did so, he kissed
the back of her neck gently before maneuvering his hands to attach the pendant
around her neck. He moved his hands up
to hers and gently made her let loose her hair, running his hands through it
again as it tumbled to her bare shoulders. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “There you go, all
fucking fancied up and ready to go.”
She smiled and let
him lead her out the door, grabbing her wrap as they left.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wrapped it around her once they’d reached
the elevator, taking a moment to play with the fringe.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “So, do I finally get to find out where we’re
going?”
“You’re going to a
fancy restaurant. Why would you need to
know more than that?” he asked, gently teasing her as they stepped into the
elevator and headed down to the lobby.
“Fine, be that way.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Wrapping one of her arms around his, she
leaned her head on her shoulder and closed her eyes.
“We’re going to a
restaurant called the Commander’s Palace. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I don’t really know much more about it than
that. It was recommended. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I guess we’re both going to have to be fucking
surprised on this one,” he said, leaning over to kiss her forehead. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> They stayed like that until the elevator doors
open, and then they strode out into the lobby, an elegant pair that drew more
than a few second glances.

at
a slightly bored tone of voice.
The host scanned
the book in front of him and stopped on a name. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Sands?” he asked curiously, and Jeffrey
nodded, trying to keep the irritation out of his face. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He would have gone by his name rather than
Sands’, but the restaurant only took last names as a precaution against two
people having the same first. The host
gestured to one of the restaurant employees standing polite beside him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Emily will show you to your table, enjoy your
dinner.”
Jeffrey and Salida
followed the petite blonde woman out onto the patio and to a round table with a
lit candle as a centerpiece. She placed
a few menus down and smiled briefly when she noticed Jeffrey hold out the seat
for Salida to sit down in. “Your
waitress will be with you shortly. Enjoy
yourselves.”
Jeffrey nodded
absently to the woman as he moved to take his own seat. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As he opened his menu in front of him he
looked up to catch Salida’s eye. “So,
what do you think so far, vixen?”
“Wow,” she
commented softly, looking at him over her menu.
“It’s beautiful.” And it
was. The patio and gardens were lit by
hanging oil lamps and candles. Every
table had a large, shallow bowl of water in mid middle.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> In it floated a waterlily
with a small tealight in the middle.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> add wryly, “However, I’m not at all sure what half of the food is.”
“Me either,”
Jeffrey said with a smirk after lighting a cigarette and taking a drag on it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “But don’t worry about it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Just get something that sounds like something
you might fucking like, or get the waitress to recommend something, and if you
don’t fucking like it, you can always get something else,” he said with a
shrug. “I’m just going to get steak. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s pretty fucking hard to fuck up steak,” he
said, blowing smoke out of his nose slowly.
Scanning her menu,
Salida sighed. “Umm . . . I think I’ll
have a salad and the seared gulf fish.
That sounds safe enough.”
“I suppose,”
Jeffrey said, tipping his cigarette on the edge of the ashtray before looking
up to see a waiter make his way over to them. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Well its good you know what you want because
it looks like our fucking waiter’s headed this way.”
“Good evening,
madam, sir. I’m Jacques and I’ll be your
waiter this evening. Would you like an
appetizer?”
“I don’t want one,
but I think my wife here does,” Jeffrey said, gesturing to Salida. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The waiter turned his head to give her his
full attention.
“I’d like the BLT
salad.”
“What kind of
dressing on that, madam?”
“Italian
vinaigrette, if you have it.”
“We do.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> May I ask if you have had a chance to examine
the wine list?” This last was addressed
to Jeffrey.
eyebrow in Salida’s direction as if to ask if she was really going to let him
drink after all the trouble they'd had with alcohol in the past. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She didn’t give any indications otherwise, so
he nodded. He scanned the wine list that
was placed in front of him before selecting a single glass of a moderately
priced red wine.
The waiter saw they
were both finished and excused himself. “Your
wine and your salad will be out shortly,” he said with a nod before turning
away and scurrying over to another table.
Salida reached
under the table with her foot, finding his and resting hers against it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> When Jeffrey looked at her, she smiled.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “We should both be okay.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If you can get loaded on brandy, or whatever
it was that you were drinking, I don’t think a little wine should hurt.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As she spoke, her smile grew wider, a
reassurance that she was teasing, not scolding.
“Scotch. style='mso-spac:yes:yes'> Very expensive fucking scotch. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And your vote of confidence in me is fucking
inspiring, vixen,” he said with a smile of his own before looking at her
seriously. “I don’t have any plans
beyond dinner. The rest of the night’s
up to you to do whatever you fucking like, vixen.”
“Like what?” she
asked. “What else is there for us to do,
while dressed like this, that doesn’t require tickets or reservations?”
“Don’t fucking ask class=GramE>me. I suppose we
could have gone to a fucking show, but I didn’t want to be fucking bored out of
my mind while watching a bunch of fucking idiots prance around a stage. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We could take a tour of the city I suppose. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I could get one of those fucking carriages you
see everywhere. It’s relatively nice
out. It could be fun,” he said with a
shrug.
Salida shook her
head, thinking, He sounds so convincing.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “That’s alright.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’ve already got plans for the rest of the
night, and they hinge on being alone in our room.”
“Oh yeah? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And just what are we going to be doing there,
vixen?” he asked with a raised eyebrow and a wicked smirk. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> everever answer she might have given was
interrupted by the return of the waiter. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He gave Salida her salad and Jeffrey his wine
before stepping back a little to address them both. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Have you decided what you would like for
dinner?” he turned to Salida first out of politeness.
“Seared gulf
fish. But I would prefer to have a side
of cocktail and tartar sauce instead of the pressed parsley sauce.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Is that doable?”
“Of course, madam. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And you, sir?” he asked, turning to Jeffrey.
“I want the filet,
rare. It’s alright the way it comes, I
suppose,” he said with a nod.
waiter said taking their menus from them gently. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He turned and left without another word.
Jeffrey leaned back
in his chair a little as he started another cigarette and simply watched his
wife, a small smile on his face. “You
didn’t answer my question, vixen,” he reminded her.
“I know,” she
smiled, moving her foot to rub it again his shin.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “But you’re a smart lad.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And if you can’t figure it out, then I
suppose that’s my surprise for style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>you.”
Jeffrey smirked. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I can guess, and while you know I don’t
usually like surprissomesomething tells me I’m going to feel differently about
this one.” He set his cigarette on the
edge of the ashtray and reached over to grab her hand, bringing it to his lips
and kissing her fingertips and knuckles lightly.
Salida smiled.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Once he was done, she twisted her hand to
entwine their fingers. “You know, lover,”
she said softly, “you keep this up and I’ll soon be spoiled rotten.”
“You say that like
it’s a bad thing,” he said with a slight laugh. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “What if I like spoiling you? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> What would you say to that?”
“I’d ask if you
really wanted a lazy, fat wife.” Her
lips quirked, before her face turned serious.
“Besides, I never want to stop fighting for this,” she whispered softly.
“Fighting for what,
vixen?” he asked, taking her hand in his again, but just holding it lightly
now.
“For us.”
“You don’t have to
fucking fight for us, vixen. I’m already
yours, remember? I’m not fucking going
anywhere,” he said it softly, as if he almost believed it.
He couldn’t be
certain. He couldn’t promise her that,
not fully. But she’d humor him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I know.
But I don’t want to grow complacent either.”
Jeffrey rolled his
eyes playfully at that, not letting go of her hand. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “As if either of us could ever grow
complacent, vixen. Our lives are too
fucked up for that to happen.” Though
his words were somewhat depressing, the intent behind them wasn’t. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I know I told you that you don’t have to
fight for me, and you don’t, but we’re fighters. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Both of us. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If we weren’t, we wouldn’t be here nnd ynd you
know it.”
“I know.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I just want to make sure that we’re still
here later.” Shaking her head, she
changed the topic. “And speaking of
here, just how did you manage to pick all this out?”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She glanced at what she was wearing.
He smirked then and
let go of her hand so that he could smoke again. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “With lots of fucking help.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He paused as something occurred to him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Oh, I forgot to fucking tell you, but we don’t
have to worry about . . . your realtor anymore. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He’s gone.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He took a long pull on his cigarette before
continuing. “I actually had to ask
fucking Sands to help me with the suits,” he said with a slight grimace. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “There, the manager led me to the place where
I got the dresses – a shop run by his daughter incidentally – and she led me to
the other places.” He shrugged. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Lots of fucking running around, but it was
probably a lot fucking easier than it could have been.”
She laughed at
that. “I would have paid big money to
see that, husband mine.” Taking another
bite of her slowly disappearing salad, saidsaid, “You should try this.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You don’t eat enough healthy food.”
He made a face at
that, looking down at her salad as if it were crawling with insects. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Fucking rabbit food? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> No fucking way.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He looked at her and saw that she had affixed
a st glt glare to her face. “Are you
going to fucking bug me about it until I do?” she nodded with a wry smile on
her face. “Fine, pass the fucking thing
here.” He picked at the salad for a
moment, not seeing Salida roll her eyes at his actions before taking a few
small bites, looking as if each one was laced with poison. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Once he had decided he’d had enough, he pushed
the salad back in her direction and took a drink of wine to wash the taste out
of his mouth.
head, trying to hide her amusement at his little act.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Don’t eat it if you don’t want to, lover,
but don’t come crying to me when you die of a heart attack when you’re
thirty-five either.” She speared another
fork-full of salad, but paused mid-bite to ask, “How old are you, Jeffrey?”
“If I die of a
fucking heart attack then I won’t be able to come crying to you,” he said
wryly. “And I’m fucking twenty-seven. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And why’d you pick a heart attack when class=GramE>you’ve got so many other wonderful choices for my death? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> How about, lung cancer?” he asked, taking a
drag on his cigarette. “Or, liver
problems?” he asked, taking a drink of his wine. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Oh, and let’s not forget, I could just be
caught and fucking executed for all the fucking people I’ve murdered.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He paused then, taking in how his words were
affecting her. “Fuck, I’m sorry, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m being a fucking asshole. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Forget I said anything. style='mso-spaceres'>es'> Except about my age. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You actually wanted to know that. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Why?” he asked, snubbing out his cigarette and
looking down at the table, not meeting her eyes.
“Perhaps I wanted
to know how long it would be before I lost you to old age.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Salida glared, but then took a deep breath to
calm herself, closing her eyes briefly.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s
not personal, it’s just a part of who Jeffrey is.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s no reason to get upset.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Opening her eyes again, she continued, “We’ve
been married for over three months, and I still didn’t know.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> That’s all.”
Jeffrey didn’t know
which had surprised him more, the fact that she never known how old he was, or
the fact that they’d been married three months already. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Yeah, twenty-seven as of last February. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> That is, if you fucking count Sands’ birthday
as mine,” he muttered, he muttered, looking up at her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He wanted another fucking cigarette, but he class=GramE>wouldn’t let himself after the little tirade he had just
gone on. “I didn’t fucking mean to go
off on you like that, vixen,” he muttered, looking her straight in the eye.
“I know, and I’m
not holding it against you.” Shaking her
hair back over her shoulders, she asked, “So, were you going to return the
question? For all you know, I’m not
legal yet. I could have been a genius
and breezed through med school.”
Jeffrey raised an
eyebrow at that. “As if ‘consorting with
a minor’ could actually get me in any deeper with the fucking law than I
already am. Fine vixen, how old are you?”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not that he believed she
as a teenager. He remembered just what
her body looked like without clothes; there was no fucking way that was
possible.
“Well, last I
checked on Tessa’s driver's license, I was twenty-three.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Barely.
The girl is rather smart, and did happen to breeze through med school.”
“Well how about
that?” Jeffrey pondered, somewhat surprised, but not really caring. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She could have been fucking forty-five and it
wouldn’t have mattered. “Going after
older men, I see how it is,” he said with a smirk.
“Oh yes.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I expect the grey hairs to start appearing on
your head any day now.” Their
conversation was interrupted by the return of their waiter.
The waiter set
Salida’s plate in front of her just a mere second before Jeffrey’s. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Do be careful, they’re both extremely hot. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If there's nothing else. . .” both Salida and
Jeffrey shook their heads. “Enjoy your
dinners.”
Jeffrey waited for
her to eat some of her fish, enjoying his steak before asking, “So, does it
meet with your approval, or do we fucking try again?”
“I think I’ll
manage. I’m not nearly as picky as to
what enters my mouth as some people,” she teased.
“Hardy fucking class=SpellE>har. class=GramE>Laugh it up, youngin’,” he said
with a smirk. “See if I ever take you
out in public again.”
meal with small talk, teasing each other and asking light questions.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> By the time they finished, Salida was in full
flirt mode, and was determined to linger until Jeffrey dragged her home.
As a busboy took
their plates, their waiter came by. “Would
you like to examine the dessert menu?”
“Yes, please.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Salida practically hummed at the thought of
dessert and how much she could tease her husband over it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Looking at the menu, she quickly made up her
mind. “I’d like the cheese cake and an
Irish coffee.”
“I know that look.
What are you up to, vixen?” he asked somewhat suspiciously.
“Nothing,” she said
innocently as their waiter left.
“Ok, now I style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>know you’re up to something. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> No one’s that innocent looking, style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>especially not ” ”
She pouted.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “It hurts that you don’t trust me, lover.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m only doing what you said I could . . .
whatever I wanted.”
style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Fuck. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She’s up to something. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Why did I have to fucking agree
to that? “I do trust you, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But I also know better sometimes. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> This is one of those times. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But fuck it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I did
fucking say that. Do you what you like. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As if you'll do anything else.”
Again she
pouted. “That’s not true.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If you really
didn’t want me to do something, I wouldn’t.”
He smiled, wishing
that he was close enough to catch the bottom lip she thrust out when she
pouted. “I know, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Have your fun. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Do you what you like. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I want you to. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> This is your fucking night, remember?”
She was going to
reply when their waiter interrupted them with her order.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She smiled at him, more than eager to get her
cheesecake. After it was set down in
front of her, and he'd left, she moved her chair around the table so she was
sitting closer to her husband. Cutting
off the very tip, she offered it to Jeffrey with a smile.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Bet you’ll like this better than the salad.”
Jeffrey cleaned the
fork slowly. “Not as sweet as you, but
definitely better than that fucking salad,” he said with a smirk
“You old lecher,”
she teased, handing him the fork so he could return the favor.
“Yeah, that’s about
fucking accurate,” he said with a smirk, taking the fork from her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He teased her a bit with the piece of
cheesecake that he had cut off, but not for long. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He didn’t want to be here all fucking night.
Salida didn’t
linger long over her dessert, although she didn’t exactly hurry either.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She judged how fast Jeffrey’s patience was
wearing thin, and ate accordingly.
Finally she finished her last bite and set aside her coffee.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Leaning her head against his shoulder, she
said, “Well, lover, I think you’ve fed me so well that a nap is in order.”
“Fuck that,” he
said, shaking her head off his shoulder. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re fucking
doing, my wicked, crafty vixen. You’re trying to use my own fucking impatience
against me. Well I’m going tell you
right now that I’m not going to let that fucking happen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It takes two to fucking tango and I’m ready to
fucking dance outta this place. And you’re
coming with me whether you’re ready or not.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He raised a hand and waved the waiter over for
the bill. He looked at it casually, not
really caring how much it was and discreetly handed him a wad of cash, enough
for the bill and the tip. He had made a
trip to the bank earlier so he wouldn’t have to call Sands to he and Salida’s
night just to sign he fucking bill. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Now that he had paid, there was no other
reason to stay.
Just as he was
pulling her from her seat, the couple heard a few notes from a clarinet.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Salida turned her head, and smiled when she
saw a band setting up in a shadowy corner.
She pulled back on Jeffrey’s hand as they started playing in
earnest. “Let’s see you put your money
where your mouth is, lover. I’ve never
gotten to dance before.”
Jeffrey sighed but
led her over to the small dance floor. Once
they had arrived, he pulled her in close, placing her left hand on his shoulder
and taking her right and holding it out to the side in his own hand. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He the placed his right hand on the small of
her back and they began to dance slowly to the soft music. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Just don’t step on my toes with those fucking
spiked heels of yours and we’ll be fine,” he said with a smirk, leaning over to
kiss her forehead lightly.
“I’ll do my best,”
she murmured, letting herself relax against him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Closing her eyes, she rested her head against
his shoulder and simply let him move her around the floor.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She was serious when she said she’d never
danced, but wasn’t surprised to find out that her husband was good at it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He moved too gracefully not to be.
With her eyes
closed, and her mind drifting on the music and the scent of Jeffrey’s cologne,
Salida didn’t even notice when she moved more fully against her husband, but
she did notice when his arm tightened around her.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She murmured a soft response in his ear, but
didn’t otherwise react.
“Are you having
fun, vixen?” he asked, his voice not above a whisper as to not dispel the mood.
Other couples had joined them on the
dance floor, but he didn’t really notice; he didn’t really care. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He let their linked hands drop down a little,
and nuzzled her neck softly, enjoying the scent that was purely style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I love you, vixen,” he whispered against her
skin.
She smiled
softly. “Love you more.”
“Mmm-hmm,” Jeffrey
agreed lazily as he lost himself in the gentle sway of their bodies and the
scent of their skin. Neither of them noticed
that the song had ended until the people around them started to applaud the
band politely. “Did you want to keep
dancing, or are you ready to fucking leave yet?” he whispered in her ear.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
“I’m ready,” she
whispered back. “But remember – I want
five minutes to myself when we get there.
To get your surprise ready.”
He kissed her
softly on the mouth before leading her back to the table so she could grab her
wrap from where she’d left it on the back of her chair. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Let’s see if the front desk will call us a
cab,” Jeffrey said with a slight smirk, more than ready to get in home as find
out for himself just what this “surprise” of hers had in store.
******************************style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
During the ride home, Salida had had to fend off her husband’s
wandering hands before he could steal her wits and her purpose away.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The man was incorrigible though, and his
sneaking touches and kisses had lasted though the ride back to the hotel, the
trip through the lobby, the ride up to their room, and into the suite.
“Lover,” she
finally exclaimed softly, not wanting to wake Aida, whom she assumed was in the
other room. “Lemme go.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I have to go get your surprise ready.”
“It better be
fucking worth it,” he said with a grumbling sigh. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He knew that it more than likely would be, but
that didn’t stop his irritation when she wanted to leave him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Even if it was only for a few short minutes. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Fine, but hurry. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’ll be in the fucking bedroom. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Wouldn’t want to wake kitty up.”
“No.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You have to wait right here.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She pointed to the spot under their
feet. Patting his chest as if to make
sure he’d stay, she wintointo the bedroom and closed the door.
Turning on the
bedside lamp, she burst into action, stripping off her dress, shoes, and
stockings. Going into the bathroom, she
hurriedly brushed her teeth before slipping into her robe . . . which happened
to be made of blue silk. Glancing at the
clock, she pulled the combs from her hair and picked up one of the bigger
o
hair pulled back and up, ready to be released with a single tug.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> With seconds to spare, she grabbed a pack of
his cigarettes that’d been left by the bed and lit one up, moving out onto the
balcony for him to find her.
Waiting for him,
she arranged herself artistically against the rail, letting her robe fall
partially open and drape from her shoulders.
Jeffrey was proud
of himself. He had made it an entire 4
minutes and 39 seconds before he went into the bedroom to locate his wife. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wasn’t in the bedroom, she wasn’t in the
bathroom. He smirked when he felt a soft
breeze from the open balcony door. The
balcony upon which he had such fond memories. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> His breath literally caught in his throat though,
when he saw her leaning against the rail, clad in nothing more than a revealing
robe of blue silk and the jewelry he had purchased for her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He moved through the balcony doors and noticed
that she had one of his lit cigarettes. That
alone tuned him on somehow. “You shouldn’t
be smoking, vixen. It’s not fucking good
for you,” he said wryly, moving to slip his arms into her robe and around her
waist, pulling her to him.
She just watched
him, taking another drag on the cigarette.
“Jeffrey,” she asked slowly, flicking a few ashes over the railing, “is
tonight still ‘my night’?”
“Technically . . . yes.
For another few hours at least. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Why do you ask, vixen?” he asked, snatching he
cigarette out of her hand and taking a drag on it himself. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The nicotine that buzzed through his system
seemed all the better with the knowledge that she had been smoking on the same
cigarette that was now between his lips.
“I was just
curious.” Wrapping one hand around his
neck, and the other around his wrist, she pulled the cigarette away and his
head down. Raising her face slightly,
she kissed him. Softly, teasingly at
first, but with increasing passion as he responded.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> When she felt him trying to strip her robe
from her, however, she pulled away.
Clicking her tongue, she shook her head.
“Sorry, lover, but some of us don’t want to be seen naked in public, not
even in the dark.” Then, as she smiled class=SpellE>vixenishly at him, she caught hold of his tie and pulled
him into the bedroom.
Leaving the doors
open, she carefully draped herself across the bed, raising her brows when
Jeffrey moved to join her. “My night,”
she reminded him, shaking her head softly.
“And I want to play a game. It’s
called ‘Vixen May I?’ You get to ask
things, and I get to decide whether or not you get to do them.”
“‘Vixen May I?’ style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It sounds more like ‘Lets see how much we can
torture Jeffrey before he cracks,’ to me,” he said wryly, sitting next to her
on the edge of the bed. “But fine. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> This is fucking your night, with all that entails. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’ll play your little game. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> For now.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He cleared his throat. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Vixen may I at least fucking get out of this
fucking monkey suit before lying down next to you?”
“Yes you may get
out of the suit, but I don’t want you next to me quite yet.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She grinned.
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jeffrey cursed under his breath but wasn’t
going to waste any more time. The noose
of silk commonly referred to as a tie was the first to go, the shoes close
behind. He then took off his jacket and
draped it neatly on a nearby chair, figuring the suit had been much too fucking
expensive to just throw about like a pair of torn blue jeans. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The shirt, pants and socks followed soon after
until he was left standing before her clad in nothing but a pair of silk
boxers. “Now what?”
“I can’t just tell
you, you have to ask.” Salida tilted her
chin up. “Ask away.”
“Right,” Jeffrey
grumbled. “Vixen may I strip each of us
of our remaining clothing and fuck the both of us senseless?”
“Nope.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She tried to hold back a grin.
“It was worth a
fucking shot,” he said with a shrug. “Vixen
may I kiss you on the mouth – no, French
kiss you on the mouth – until we’re both left gasping for fucking air?”
“Yes you may.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But you can only touch my mouth.”
“I was afraid you’d
fucking say that,” he muttered, moving to sit next to
her on the bed. “Will you at least sit
up so I don’t have to fucking bend over without touching you?”
She thought about
it, and finally acquiesced. Sitting, she
pulled her robe around her so as to present less of a temptation, and leaned
towards her husband.
Jeffrey leant
forward and captured her mouth in his, thrusting his tongue in the moment her
lips parted. He put all the frustration
and lust he was currently feeling into the kiss, hoping that she could fucking
feel it. His hands clenched into fists
on his lap as he fought not to touch her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> After a few languorously long moments he was
finally forced to pull away in order to catch his breath. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It had been a fucking good kiss. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It hadn’t been nearly enough to satisfy, but at
least it had been passionate.
Catching her own
breath, Salida moved away, crossing her legs at the ankle and setting them near
her husband, just within reach. “So,
lover, is there anything else you want to ask?”
She watched as his eyes moved up her body, coming to rest on her pinned
up hair. She hope he asked her to let it
down because the comb was starting to dig into her scalp.
“Ok, two fucking
things. Number one, will you let your
hair down? And number two, vixen may I
fucking massage your chest under your robe with all that entails. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If you want me to go into specifics, I will.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He wanted to fucking touch her more than
anything right now. Well, style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>almost anything. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was definitely high up on the list though.
“Yes,
and no.” Releasing her hair with a
welcome sigh, she put her feet into his lap.
“Those shoes you bought were damn uncomfortable, lover.”
“You’re no fucking
fun, vixen,” he said with a slight pout before looking down at her feet. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Would you like me to give you a fucking foot
massage to make up for my clearly bad judgment in shoe purchasing, vixen?” he
drawled melodramatically.
“Yes.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She resisted the temptation to bounce her
foot demandingly. She might hurt him.
“Fine,” Jeffrey
said with a sigh. “If all I can touch of
you for now is your fucking feet then I guess I’ll have to be happy with that.”
He took one of her feet into both of his
hands and began to massage it. He worked
slowly but firmly as not to tickle. After
a few minutes he switched to her other foot, doing the same.
“class=SpellE>Ooohh . . .” Salida moaned, letting her body relax against
the bed. It felt so good to have his
hands touching her. As he finished, she
pulled away. “Game over,” she
whispered. “Go sit against the
headboard, husband mine. I don’t want to
play, but I most definitely want to take advantage of your promise.”
“I fucking figured
as much,” Jeffrey said a bit insolently, but moved to do as he had instructed,
leaning his back against the headboard and sticking his legs out straight in
front of him.
Moving to her
knees, Salida let her robe slip from her body entirely.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She let Jeffrey run his eyes over her for
several moments before moving closer to him.
Still moving slowly, she straddled his lap and brushed her lips against
his. “Do whatever you want, lover, but I
want to do it in this position.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> After we’ve both come, then I give up my
control for tonight. But first I want to
see you come while we’re together like this.”
Jeffrey took her in
his hands and pulled her forward enough so that he could kiss her, gasping
slightly when the movement cause her to rub against his length. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He kissed her with passionate intensity,
running his hands down her sides over her breasts, his touch both teasing and
sensual. After a moment he pulled away
and moved one hand to tangle itself through her hair as he kissed the sensitive
places of her neck. He didn’t say a word
for now, only concentrated on what he was doing.
Salida gasped and
shivered in her husband’s embrace. Her
hands slipped from his chest, to his arms, to his shoulders, and eventually to
his head. Her fingers wrapped in his
hair, using that grip to maneuver his lips against her, moaning as he sucked
her earlobe into his mouth. “Love you .
. . n-need you,” she whispered breathlessly.
One of her hands left his head to grab his wrist.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Pulling, she lowered it to her hip, ducking
her head to capture his lips again.
As he kissed her
even more passionately than the last time, his hand inched slowly to the place
she obviously wanted him to touch. After
a moment’s more teasing, he did what she wanted, thrusting a single long finger
deep inside of her while his thumb slipped upwards to rub her clit in small
circles.
She broke away with
a small cry, her hips driving down into his teasing hand.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Por díos, Jeffrey,”
she moaned, her mouth moving down to his neck, where she started nibbling away
at his sensitive skin. She could feel
pinpricks of heat through her entire body, could feel sweat breaking out on her
skin. Salida hadn’t known she’d been
this close to release, but now she was glad for it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Oh god, lover.”
Letting out his own
moan as she nibbled at his neck and breathed heavily in his ear, he moved his
free hand to her chest and began to encircle one of her nipples in the same
motions as his thumb moving over her clit. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I know you’re fucking close, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I can feel your body start to quiver around my
hand, your breath catching in your throat so that you can barely keep you mouth
on my neck to kiss me you want to gasp and moan so bad. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I can feel your body start to arch, your
breasts thrust against my chest. Did you
know the sensation of your hardened nipples rubbing against my chest nearly
drives me insane? Ooh, like that, vixen.
Did you fucking do that on purpose? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Are you close, vixen? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Come for me like you
want me to do for you. Give in to your
fucking release. I want to see your body
tense within orgasm only to turn to Jell-O seconds later. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I want to feel your muscles clamp around my
finger. Let go, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Let go for me. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Please.”
Salida heard his
request, and the longing in his voice was what threw her over the edge.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As her lips locoverover his, she came, her
scream muffled by his mouth under hers.
When she had
finally pulled away, Jeffrey gently pulled his now slightly aching finger out
of her and brought it to his mouth. “Definitely
sweeter than the fucking cheesecake. Thank
you,” he drawled somewhat breathlessly, managing a wicked smirk.
“Pig,” she
muttered, deliberately rubbing herself against the bulge she could feel
underneath her. While this move made a
gasp escape her husband, Salida also moaned as her body reminded her of how
sensitive it was right now. “Your turn,
lover.” Raising herself up on her knees,
she waited for Jeffrey to pull his boxers down before she lowered herself.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Hovering over the very tip of his arousal,
she whispered, “Take me, you dirty old man.”
“You asked for it,
little girl,” Jeffrey said, pulling her down so that she sheathed herself on
him before grabbing her tightly with a moan and rolling them both over and down
on the bed so that her head was on the pillow and he was in the dominant
position above her. He was tempted to
use the restraints on her for all of her . . . play, but he was too far gone to have the patience for that right
now. There’s
always later, he reminded himself with a smirk before moving to suck at her
neck hard enough to leave marks, his thrusts’ rhythm increasing as he found
himself moving closer to his own edge.
Salida cried out softly,
both from the feeling of her husband moving deep within her, and because she
hadn’t been ready to give up control yet. But she let her irritation go as she
felt him driving her to the edge again.
Determined not to let him win totally, though, she wrapped her legs
tightly around his waist, lifting herself slightly off the bed.
Jeffrey moaned as
he felt her move underneath him and nearly lost himself then
and there. The feeling of her
legs wrapped almost tight enough to make it difficult to breath only added to
his arousal. “Vixen,” he said breathily.
If there had been something else he had
wanted to say, he must have either forgotten it or decided that it was
unimportant because he didn’t say another word.
“Love you,” she
gasped desperately as she felt herself tensing.
It was almost as if every hint of pleasure inside her was being
compacted; pressed, pressed, pressed, until it had no other option but to
spring apart and make her scream with the intensity of it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She tried to hold it off, but Jeffrey reached
up and pulled insistently at one of her nipples, and it sent her over the
edge. But even now, she was conscious of
their ‘houseguest’ and she tried to muffle her pleasure.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Her head flew forward and she bit down on
Jeffrey’s shoulder as she tried to mute her scream.
Feeling her come
around him would have been enough to send him over the edge at this point, but
combined with the feeling of her biting into his shoulder was enough to shred
his last bit of control to pieces and he moaned into the mattress beside her
head as he came forcefully. After a long
while he had regained enough brain cells to be able to speak coherently again. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I never want to move again. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m just going to fucking lay right here. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Don’t fucking move, alright?” he mumbled in a
lazy and utterly contented tone of voice.
“Mmm, ok.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wasn’t prepared to move any more than he
was. Shifting her head a bit to press a
kiss into his neck, she let afterglow and a bit of exhaustion take over, dozing
off for the time being.
******************************style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Jeffrey came back to consciousness slowly, a momentary wave
of confusion passing over him. When
sharing a body with another person, it paid to wake up each morning expecting
the worst. Needless to say, he was
pleasantly surprised to find himself in his wife’s arms, his face buried into
her neck. For a long moment, all he did
was watch her sleep, a lazy smile on his face. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He didn’t bother waking her up. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was so much more fun not to.
He extracted
himself ever so gently from her arms, freezing when she stirred slightly, but
relaxing when she did not awaken. Once
her arms were at her sides, he moved himself above her, lifting himself up on
his knees. When he was positioned above
her, he leaned his head down to begin kissing her neck and chest. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not hard, but with a gentleness
like the brush of a feather. He kissed
only her stomach and throat at first, not wanting to awaken her with arousal
just yet. When he saw her begin to
respond anyway, and felt himself begin to respond as well, he moved his mouth
to the side of her neck, increasing the forcefulness of his kisses by only a
hair. He still didn’t want to wake her
up. He wasn’t a patient man by nature,
but if the end result was worth it – and this most definitely was – then he
could wait.
It wasn’t until his
lips were closed around one of her nipples that she really began to respond,
and he cast a slightly worried glance to her face to see if she had woken up. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wasn’t a heavy sleeper and he knew he had
to be careful. Suddenly, looking at his
seemingly helpless wife gave him a wicked idea. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Moving quickly but gently, he restrained both
of her wrists in her set of restraints on the headboard. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He knew she probably wouldn’t be pleased when
she woke up, but he didn’t care. This
was much more fun.
Salida felt
something tugging at her consciousness, but she didn’t want to give in to
it. She wanted to sleep.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wanted to sleep while warmed by her husband’s
body; while in his arms with his weight pressing her into the mattress and his
breath brushing against her neck. Not
that he was doing a good job at keeping her warm at the moment.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Her sleep addled mind finally came to the
conclusion that she was most definitely chilly.
Shifting, she moved
to pull the blankets up around them, or her husband closer to her, but couldn’t.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Frowning, she tried again, with the same
results. “Jeffrey," she muttered
sleepily, and not quite managing to actually voice her complaint.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Instead she tried to find him.
Her third failure
to move her arms, finally forced her to wake up . . . only to find that her
arms were pinned and that Jeffrey was busily working away on her breasts.
She moaned softly
in irritation and delight, alerting her husband to the fact that she was awake.
“Good very early morning,
vixen,” he said with a smirk, lifting his head up to look at her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I decided to have a little fucking fun while
you were asleep.”
“So I . . . see,”
she murmured, her voice breathless. “Turning
your wife into a block of ice, yes, I can see the appeal in that.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She pulled at her wrists again.
Jeffrey actually
paused for a moment, taking in the open windows, the lack of air conditioning,
and the fact that it was probably seventy degrees in the room . . . at the very
least. But as his mouth and hands
paused, she whimpered a complaint, erasing any concern from his mind.
He took his time in
lathing his tongue around her nipples before moving in to bite and suckle at
one before moving to the other and giving it equal attention. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was no where near passionate and forceful
enough to give her the amount of pleasure she wanted however; he was taking his
time in teasing her as much as he could before they both couldn’t take it
anymore. “I like seeing you shiver,
vixen,” he said with a smirk and a shrug, the best he offered to explain his
actions.
style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>And he wonders why I like to play with ice
cold water, she complained to herself as her body arched and writhed as much
as it was able while bound and pinned.
Taking a deep breath, she tried to simply enjoy the process of what was
happening, but her body was already begging for more; more of his mouth, of his
hands, of his touch. Just style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>more.
And she figured that the best way to get what she wanted,
was by being what he didn’t want.
Forcing herself to
relax, she tried to muffle her body’s demands.
Tried to act subservient, as if she were simply content with what he was
giving her. She wasn’t going to demand
more. She wasn’t going let her
passionate nature take over and respond without thought.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And if he asked what was wrong, she’d ask him
what he wanted to be wrong. She’d class=GramE>submit, a word he
hated to hear in the bedroom. Unless he
was making her do so by force, but that was another story altogether.
Jeffrey’s eyes
narrowed as he felt her body still. style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>What the fuck? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “What are you fucking doing, vixen?” he asked
slowly.
“What do you want
me to do?” she asked softly.
“Stop that,”
Jeffrey said evenly.
“Yes, Jeffrey.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> At his order, she relaxed even further into
the bed.
“I know what you’re
fucking doing and I don’t like it,” he said, moving away from her to kneel on
the bed, looking down at her.
“I’m sorry,” she
told him, while muttering under her breath, “But I don’t like being cold
either.” In a louder voice, she continued,
“Is this better?” and she immediately started moaning softly as she clenched
her legs and pulled at her restraints. “Oh,
Jeffrey, oh yes baby, like that. Just
like that.” She tried to hide it, but
there was a spark of humor in her eyes.
Jeffrey saw that
spark and rolled his own eyes. “Yeah,
just like that,” he said dryly. Before
she had time to protest or comment, he had moved off of
the bed and turned off the air conditioning and shut the window a little. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “You going to stop fucking toying with me
right now or am I going to have to test your resolve to be fucking . . . style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>subservient?” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The word was seethed between clenched teeth as
he regained his position above her on the bed.
She glared at him,
fuming at the fact that he was refusing to pick up where he’d left off, but
held her tongue. She was stubborn, and
she could hold out. “Yes, yes please,
Master. Please, make me your love slave,
I beg you.” The words were hissed
through her teeth, daring him to carry through with his threat.
style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>She’s going to drive me fucking insane,
Jeffrey moaned to himself in frustration. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Fine. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If she wants to fucking
play hardball, that’s what she’ll fucking get. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He moved off of the
bed and stood up. “I’m going to go and
get a fucking glass of water before we begin. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Stay here like a good fucking love slave and
don’t say anything, and maybe I’ll be fucking back
soon.” With that, he got up to leave,
heading purposefully to the kitchen.
Once Jeffrey left
the room, Salida started struggling to get free.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Despite the fact that he’d mercifully turned
off the AC, she was still chilly, and she wanted to get under the covers or
something before she started shivering for other reasons than her husband’s
pleasurable torture. All she discovered class=GramE>though, was that Jeffrey had securely restrained her, and
she cursed vehemently.
Jeffrey came back
just in time to hear her curse, and he smirked. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “What language, vixen,” he said, clicking his
tongue at her as walked toward her. He
had wanted to wait longer, to make her
wait longer, but he found that he
couldn’t, and that irritated him.
Salida wanted to
snap at him, but refrained, once again pretending to be submissive.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I’m
sorry if I’ve offended,” she murmured, looking up at him with eyes that were
anything but sorry.
“I just bet you
are,” he said with a half-grin. He was
almost tempted to play along with her little submissive act and see where it
led them, but he found he just couldn’t stomach the fucking idea. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He didn’t like his women to be simpering
fucking morons, and she knew it. That’s
why she was fucking playing this little style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>game of hers in the first place. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He was fucking determined to style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>not let her win.
As silence fell and
Jeffrey made no move to touch her, Salida started growing impatient.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He’d
woken her up with something in mind, but here he was, not fulfilling it, and
not letting her go back to sleep either.
Fine.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Have I done something to displease?”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Her eyelids fluttered down to hide her eyes
from him.
“You bet your ass
you have, vixen. But since you’re not
going to do anything fucking about it now, I guess I’ll just have to take
matters into my own . . . hands,” he said wickedly, moving one hand to one of
her breasts and the other to her clit. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Each one moving to arouse, but not quickly. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He wasn’t patient, but he was a stubborn
bastard and he would outlast her.
Salida’s eyes
screwed shut as she tried to bite back a moan.
She only fought for a moment before realizing that a reaction was
exactly what he wanted. By giving in to
them both, she was winning. In a sense .
. . and a very scrambled one at that.
But it was enough to convince her to stop biting her lip and spread her
legs a little farther.
Jeffrey held back a
smirk of satisfaction at seeing her reaction, but only just. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He did oblige her however before he could stop
to consider her actions. He didn’t
really care to dwell on things like that right now. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The only thing that mattered in his ever increasingly
narrow frame of reference was the willing woman before him.
She could feel the
pleasure coiling in her belly, and she felt a wave of triumph wash through
her. But as it receded, she became aware
of trembling limbs, feverish skin, and an unsettled stomach.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> These were no butterflies at the thought of
her sexy husband . . . these were butterflies with a serious grudge.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She-style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Ohstyle='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'> god.
She was going to loose her dinner very soon.
“Jeffrey,” she
whispered through clenched teeth, suddenly very urgent.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Jeffrey, let me go.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m going to be sick.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Desperate not to get sick in their bed, she
started trying to free herself without success.
If not for the look
on her face, he might have accused her of trying to trick him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As it was, he practically leapt up to release
her, worry rushing through him.
The moment she was
free, she rolled off the bed, hitting the floor and lurching towards the
bathroom as the room spun around her.
She didn’t bother tryio uno understand how she’d gotten so sick so
fast. All that mattered at the moment
was getting to the toilet in time.
Collapsing to her
knees, she managed to brush her hair out of her face just a split second before
the first convulsion raked through her.
Taking a deep breath through her nose, she moaned as she felt another
wave of nausea rising. Bending her head
again, she tried to relax as her body worked in reverse, just barely noticing
that Jeffrey had followed her and was now holding her hair out of the way for
her.
Jeffrey didn’t know
what to think, he couldn’t think. His
entire body was buzzing with nervous energy and his mind was screaming at him
that something was wrong and that he needed to find out what that something was
as soon as possible. But as he watched,
his wife laid her forehead on the cool rim of the toilet, and he said nothing. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Words failed him completely for perhaps the
first time and all he could do was to sit and stare in mute horror and worry.
Her stomach was
still upset, but she was pretty sure she’d lost most of her dinner, if not her
lunch as well. “Well . . . that was fun,”
she muttered hoarsely, taking a moment to regain her breath before trying to
stand on shaky legs. In the end, Jeffrey
had to help her up, and even then, she leaned on him, not quite ready to try
walking.
“Are you alright,
vixen?” he asked in an uncharacteristically quiet and more than a little
fearful tone of voice. He then cursed
himself softly. “Of course you’re not
fucking alright. But I don’t suppose you
know what the fuck that was just then? You’re
still fucking trembling. Wait, fucking
forget I said anything and let’s just get you back to bed.”
“No,” she shook her
head, and immediately regretted it. “I
want to rinse my mouth out. And I don’t
want to have to swallow.”
style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She could tell Jeffrey thought it was a bad
idea, but he led her over to the sink, where she filled a cup with lukewarm
water, carefully swishing it around her mouth before spitting it into the
sink. She repeated this several times
before letting him take her back to the bed.
“I’m sorry,” she
whispered as he helped her under the covers.
“I don’t know why I got sick. But
I’m starting to feel better, if it’s any consolation.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She didn’t think he’d buy it since she was
still feeling a bit lightheaded, as if all her blood had rushed to her feet or
something.
“It’s alright,” he
said with a bit of a sigh, willing himself to calm down . . . in more ways that
one. “It’s not your fault. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> And it’s not as if you can fucking
control when you get sick either,” he said, moving under the covers next to
her. “Is there anything I can class=GramE>fucking do for you right now?”
She shook her
head. “I don’t think so.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Just don’t be surprised if I’m not better
later. I think I might be . . . but I
don’t know.”
“What’s that
supposed to mean?” Jeffrey asked, somewhat tetchily. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He was fucking worried about her, and it was
making him nervous. He didn’t like
feeling nervous.
“It means I feel
better because there’s nothing left in my stomach, but don’t be surprised if I’m
not in the mood for bedplay when I wake up.
Whenever that might be. And if
you’re still here.”
“Alight, vixen,” he
said, trying to keep the sigh out of his voice. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Get some rest. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Feel fucking better.”
******************************style='mso-spacerun:yes'> style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
When Salida woke the next morning, it was barely dawn.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Turning her head, she found that Jeffrey was
still in bed with her, and she smiled.
He’d been sweet during the night, letting her call such an abrupt halt
to their activities.
style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>It would be rude not to repay him, she
decided, scooting across the bed towards his warm body.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She was feeling better – if not at a hundred
percent of normal. But enough to do
this.
“Jeffrey,” she sang
softly, leaning over to nuzzle his neck.
His back was to her, and she pressed against him lightly, well aware
that she might wake Sands instead. “Jeffrey,
wake up and talk to me.” Talk was the
furthest thing on her mind, but it sounded good.
Jeffrey murmured
sleepily, but didn’t wake up.
“Jeffrey,” she
called again, moving her lips to nibble at his earlobe.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Wake up, or I’ll do my best to wake
Sands. I want to thank you for being so
caring last night, but it won’t work unless . . . unless you’re style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>at attention.”
“Don’t you fucking
dare wake him up, vixen,” Jeffrey muttered, his voice
rough with sleep. He smiled and class=GramE>sighed a little as he became aware of her attentions,
however slight for the time being.
“Just making sure
you were listening,” she promised, her right hand slipping around his chest to
start playing across the expanse of smooth skin to be found there.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As her hand wandered, she propped herself up
on her other arm so she could better nibble and taste his skin.
“I’m always fucking
listening. Even when I’m not,” he said
slowly, still sleep fogged enough to enjoy her attentions without responding .
. . consciously . . . to her actions.
Salida grinned at
that declaration. Jeffrey was clearly
half asleep still. Shaking her head, she
brought her hand up to caress his side, slowly running her fingers over the
bumps of his ribs until she reached his hip.
Moving slightly, she let her hand move as far south as it could, before
bringing it back up to his chest. Next
she let her eager fingers play in the thin line of hair that pointed towards
his groin.
Setting her chin on
his shoulder, she murmured conversationally, “You know, lover, I think I’ve
decided on the only think that would ever make me consider leaving you.”
“What?” Jeffrey
moaned. “Don’t even . . . talk like
that, vixen. I don’t fucking like it.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Although he still wasn’t fully awake, he was
definitely more awake now than he had been.
Ignoring what he
said, she continued. “If you ever start
eating sauerkraut, I swear I will make you very sorry for it.”
“What? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” he
asked, turning his head as much as he could to look at her.
“Just that.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I can’t stand sauerkraut.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Now that he’d shifted a bit and he was
distracted, her hands shifted even lower, teasing him a bit just by their
nearness.
“You are . . . very
strange sometimes, vixen. But I fucking
love you anyway,” he said, his voice still a bit rough, but not with sleep any
longer. “And you do like to fucking
tease,” he muttered.
“I’m not trying to
tease,” she said very solemnly. “I want
to play, but not too rough.”
“Alright. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You can play,” Jeffrey said slowly, feeling
somewhat more generous than usual since she had just been sick. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “As long as you’re alright.”
She nodded, not wanting
to elaborate on the fact that she was still feeling just a bit off.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Turn over?” she asked, pressing a kiss into
his neck.
He did as she
asked, turning to look at her, the slightest hint of concern still evident in
his eyes.
Wanting to wipe that
concern from his eyes, she lowered her head to kiss him, persuasively
convincing him to part his lips and let her in.
Lazily exploring his mouth, she climbed on top of him, wrapping her arms
under his shoulders and using her hands to hold his head still as she took her
own, seductive time.
“Mmm,” Jeffrey
muttered when she finally pulled away to look at him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Well it certainly seems like you’re feeling
better,” he said lightly, wanting to put the worry out of his mind since she
certainly didn’t seem to be affected by it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But it lingered; the smallest niggling of
doubt and concern. He pushed it aside
and raised his head as much as she let him to continue kissing his wife.
Salida smiled,
shifting a bit to let one of her legs fall between Jeffrey’s.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> As they kissed, she moved it slowly and
softly, rubbing gently against his growing arousal.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She grinned into their kiss as she felt him
immediately respond to her.
Jeffrey broke away
from their kiss long enough to let out a long mixture of a gasp and a moan
before moving to kiss her again. The
intensity of the kiss increased a little, but he was treating her like crystal,
afraid she might break with the slightest bit of force.
For once, Salida
appreciated Jeffrey’s gentle handling of her.
Despite the desire that was building inside her, she was still aware of
how sick she’d been during the night.
She also remembered that he’d cut her fun short the night before.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She’d wanted to be on top, but he hadn’t let
her. She had the feeling that he might
this morning.
Raising herself up
on her hands, she whispered against her lover’s lips, “Sit up.”
Once again, he did
as she asked, but a flash of both curiosity and defiance crossed his face. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He liked acting subservient even less than
seeing it, but he would do as she requested of him.
“Thank you,” she
whispered, moving to sit on his lap, trapping his arousal between their
bodies. She kissed him briefly before
moving her lips back to his neck, leaving long, lingering caresses there as her
fingers dug into his arms. “You smell so
good,” she sighed, moving to the other side of his neck.
“Well, I suppose .
. . that’s good,” Jeffrey gasped out, his hands moving to grab her from behind,
unconsciously pressing her body closer to his.
“Very good,” she
murmured, gravitating back to his lips.
She kissed him lightly for several moments before opening to his
request. She moaned as he invaded her
mouth, his hands kneading her rear at the same time.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Are you ready?” she asked breathlessly,
pulling away for a moment. Her only
answer was him reclaiming her mouth and his hands
moving to lift her by the hips.
She went willingly,
rising up on her knees, then sinking down slowly onto
her husband’s length, moaning loudly at the sensation.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She loved this.
Jeffrey joined his
wife in her moan, reveling in the pure sensation of her body surrounding his,
pulling him in. He bucked up as much as
he could without leverage.
“Oh, Jeffrey,” she
whispered, her head dropping to his shoulder as she rocked her hips backwards,
then forwards. “I love you . . . so
much,” she gasped. “If I never saw you .
. . except to do this . . . I think I would be mostly happy.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But only mostly.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Need more of you . . . to be, class=SpellE>ooohh, completely
happy.”
“I love you too . .
. vixen,” he gasped, his voice just as breathy as hers was. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> At first, it had rankled to let her have
control. Now, it no longer mattered. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “You make . . . me happy too . . . vixen,” he
moaned. “Happier . . . than I’ve ever .
. . been.” With this declaration, he
pulled her mouth to his and began kissing her even more passionately than
before.
She whimpered as he
took over her mouth, but she didn’t fight him.
She welcomed him, moving even faster on him, feeling herself
nearing completion. But she wanted –
needed – to take him with her. She
needed him with her. That’s all there
was to it.
Trying to convey
this, she got her knees under her, and started moving up and down as well as
forwards and back, never letting their kiss end.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Her tongue twined with his as sweat broke out
on their bodies, as her arms wrapped around his neck.
When breathing
became a priority, Jeffrey was finally able to break away from the passionate
kiss to let out the moan that had been clawing at his throat. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Oh . . . I love . . . you . . .vixen. . .” he
gasped, opening his eyes wide to look at her, to marvel at her sweat slicked
and gleaming body as she worked to throw him over the edge. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He had never seen a more beautiful sight in
all his life. “I love you,” he gasped again,
not taking his eyes off of her.
He could feel
himself drawing ever nearer to the edge, which was exactly what she seemed to
want. He let her take him there without
hesitation, longing for the sense of closeness to reach its peak as they came
simultaneously in a wave of passion, held tightly in each others’ arms.
Salida gasped for
breath as she came down from her high.
Blood pounded through her body at an ever slowing rate as the intense
pleasure subsided into a warm fizz just under her skin.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Dropping her head to her lover’s shoulder,
she winced as the racing of her heart set up an echo in her temples.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Headache,
she thought tiredly. What else was going
to go wrong with her body? “Don’t move
yet,” she whispered, her arms slipping from around Jeffrey’s shoulders to
around his waist.
“What do you mean, ‘don’t
move yet?’ Where the fuck are you going,
vixen?” he asked, still gasping for breath and more than a little confused.
“Nowhere.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> That’s why I don’t want you to move.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Sighing deeply, she felt sleep tugging at her
mind, and fought to stay awake.
“What’s wrong,
vixen?” he asked with a frown. One
minute she was fighting to bring him over the edge with her, and the next. . . style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He didn’t fucking like it. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Tell me what’s wrong.”
“Nothing.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m fine. It’s just that I have a bit of a headache.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wished he’d stop asking questions.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was getting a tad bit annoying.
“No, you’re not,”
Jeffrey insisted. He turned his head to
look at her as best as he could, wanting to see her face. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Something’s wrong. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Tell me what it fucking is.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He moved a hand up to her hair, running his
fingers through it slowly.
style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Why doesn’t he just call me a liar? class=GramE>she thought irritably.
“I’m telling you the truth. You’ve
worn me out – yet again – and I have a bit of a headache.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s no cause for concern.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> A bit of a nap and I’ll feel fine.”
Jeffrey wanted to
pound his head against the wall in frustration. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Here he was – aroused beyond
belief – and she wanted to stop because she was worn out. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> How the
fuck is she worn out? She slept most of
last night and it’s not like we’ve been that intense. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> This makes no fucking sense. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Fine. You
don’t want to me to worry, I fucking won’t. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Get some rest or whatever the fuck it is you
need. I’ll be right here where you
fucking left me.” Jeffrey tried to keep
the bite out of his voice, but it wasn’t easy.
Salida rolled her
eyes, her tired mind finally registering the condition she’d left her husband class=GramE>in. Before he could
protest, she seized his mouth in an intense kiss and purposefully tightened her
inner muscles, knowing how much he enjoyed that.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She did it over and over until Jeffrey was
once again moaning, and then she picked herself up and slammed herself back down
on him, enveloping his length inside her.
The sudden shock
and intensity of her passion threw him over the edge without warning. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jeffrey would have let out a gravelly yell had
his mouth not been trapped against hers as she kissed him thoroughly. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He finally broke away, panting for breath, and
pulled her body down on his, his hips still bucking slightly as tremors ran
throughout the course of his body. He
closed his eyes then and let himself feel her body around and on him, while his
own buzzed with the sensations she had evoked.
Salida sighed in
relief as she felt her husband reach completion.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He came with his normal strength, but she
felt no more than a wash of warmth move through her muscles in response to him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She must have been more tired than she’d
thought. Once again resting her head
against him, she listened to his heart as it slowly stopped racing.
Jeffrey sighed into
her hair, utterly content now and somewhat worn out himself,
but still slightly worried. She had
never put off his affections before now and the thought unsettled him. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But he wouldn’t bring it up. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not now. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He would let her rest if that’s what she still
wanted. “You’re sure you’re alright,
vixen?” The words left his mouth before
he could stop them.
“Yes Jeffrey,” she
said patiently, sighing against him in resignation.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I can be sick now and then without losing my
mind, you know.”
“Forget I said
anything. If you say you’re alright, I’ll
believe you,” he said softly, not meaning to irritate her. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He was just worried. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She was all that he had. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If something happened to her . .e die didn’t
even want to think about it. He style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>couldn’t think about or style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>he might be the one to lose his mind.
“I’m sorry,” she
whispered, disentangling herself from him.
“I don’t mean to snap. I’m just .
. . I’m just really tired, and I don’t
know why. Usually I can go all night and
most of the day on a few hours of sleep.
Perhaps it’s just catching up with me or something.”
“Get some rest,
vixen. Feel better. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m not fucking going anywhere. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> So you just sleep, and I’ll be here when you
wake up,” he promised softly, wrapping his arms around her.
Salida moved to
take his advice, but noticed the time on the clock.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Oh god,” she groaned.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “The movers are coming with the furniture
today. I have to be there to tell them
where to put things.” She tried to sit
up, but Jeffrey held her down.
“You’re not fucking
going anywhere. You’re going to lie in
this bed until you’re better. That’s
fucking non-negotiable. Sands and I can
deal with the fucking movers. What time are
they coming?”
“Ten.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> But Sands still needs to get furniture for
his bedroom. And I still have shopping
to do before we move in. We have no
dishes, towels, hygiene products . . .” she trailed off as the list went on and
on inside her head. “And if Aida lea
as
as early as she has been, you should let Sands see her or he’ll be pissed.”
Jeffrey groaned,
immediately knowing that she was right. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Fine. I’ll
give Sands his fucking time with kitty. But
you are to stay in fucking bed. It’s not
even fucking
you need to fucking rest. Sands and I
did shopping yesterday, we can fucking do it again
today. Now granted, buying stuff for the
house won’t be nearly as much fucking fun as buying things for you, but we’ll
manage. Now, get some fucking sleep,” he
said, moving out of bed to stand at her side after giving her a gentle kiss on
the forehead.
She sighed, knowing
he wouldn’t budge on this. She also knew
that if she left while Sands was in control, Jeffrey would be furious with her
later. “Wake me before you leave.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I might be feeling better.”
“You
can fucking count on that. I don’t
really want to, but I’m going to at least need a fucking list of things to buy.
Now, get some rest, vixen. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’ll see you later.” With that, he kissed her
again and left to clean himself up a little before going to see Aida.
******************************style='mso-spacerun:yes'> style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Aida woke slowly, realizing that she was in bed alone and
that it was nearly
her next round of CAT scans, so she was loathe to get
up. Henry, her director, had given her
the week off until Thursday so she would be in peak condition for opening
night. She had three days of rest until
an eight hour rehearsal, and she intended to use them well.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Starting with lingering in bed for as long as
she wished.
She’d just rolled
onto her stomach, intent on getting some more sleep, when the door to the room
opened. Shifting slightly, she looked to
see who it was, smiling when she saw her lover come
in.
“I’m not Sands
kitty,” Jeffrey said, leaning against the doorframe of Sands’ room. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I’ll let you talk to and see him soon but
first there’s something I wanted to fucking say. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Vixen’s not fucking feeling well and while I
don’t really expect you or Sands to agree, I would like to fucking be with her
at least a little while longer this morning, savvy? style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You and Sands can have your fucking time now,
that’s fair; I’m just fucking asking for some later.”
Aida nodded, but
had her own condition to add. “That’s
fine, but I expect to have the favor returned later.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She wouldn’t back down from this.
“Alright. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> That’s fucking fair,” Jeffrey said somewhat
reluctantly before giving up his control even more reluctantly to Sands.
“What the –”Sands
asked aloud, immediately taking in his position standing against the doorway of
his room and looking at a very much awake Aida. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Uh, good morning, spitfire,” he said slowly,
still a little confused and half-asleep. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I take it you were talking to Jeffrey,” he
asked, moving to sit down on the bed beside her.
“Mmm-hmm,
apparently his wife isn’t well and he didn’t want me making a fuss if went to
visit her later.” Grabbing his arm, Aida
pulled Sands down beside her.
Sands couldn’t stop
a wave of worry from passing through him to hear that Salida wasn’t feeling
well. He passed off a lot of it on
Jeffrey’s recent departure, but if he was honest with himself, he was somewhat
worried as well. Trying to put such
thoughts out of his head for the moment, he turned to the woman next to him and
smiled. “How are you this morning,
spitfire?” he asked slowly.
“Better, now that
you’re here.” Moving even closer to him,
she snuggled against his warm body, tucking her head under his chin.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I don’t have to go anywhere today – except
to see the doctor – so that’s nice too.”
“Definitely nice,”
Sands agreed, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her close. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “I take it that you’re not
wanting to get out of bed today?” he asked with a smirk, taking in her
relaxed body against his. He reached
down to the foot of the bed and pulled the sheet up over both of them.
“Not yet.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She yawned and smiled.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “If you weren’t here, I might consider
it. But there’s no way I’m moving
anytime soon now."
“I figured as much,”
Sands said with a short laugh before setting down into the bed himself. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It was far too early to be awake anyway. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Go ahead, sleep the day away. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m certainly not going to complain. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Well, at least not for the time being anyway,”
he said with a smirk.
“That’s nice.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’d keep me awake.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Settling herself more comfortably against
Sands, Aida dropped off into sleep and was quickly followed by her lover.
