CHAPTER 23: GOING BACK
******************************************************
************THE FOLLOWING DAY @ THE TORETTO'S************
Dom wakes up and is anxious to get to the hospital. He takes a bath and gets dressed, he goes downstairs and finds Mia already waiting for him. He walks in the kitchen, Vince and Mini are drinking coffee. Dom notices that Mini has a bruised cheek.
"Good morning" he says trying to keep from laughing.
"Go ahead, I know you wanna laugh" Mini says, looking over to Vince who's also hiding a smile.
"It doesn't look that bad babe" Vince says rubbing her shor.

"Yeah well I'm sure she looks worse" Mini says taking a sip from her coffee and sees that Dom's face has changed to a serious one.
"Well, we should get going, I wanna be there before they release her" Mia tells Dom and he nods.
"Here, take this with you" Mini hands Dom a bag with clothes and things for Eva, he grabs it and gives her a thank you smile.
************************ AT THE HOSPITAL*************
Once they reach Eva's floor, Dom looks down the hall but doesn't see Brian, his pace fastens and Mia tries to catch up with him. Dom pushes the door open and sees Brian sitting on a chair next to the empty bed. Brian is up in a flash pointing a gun at Dom.
"It's just us" Dom says putting his hands up "Where's Eva?" he continues. Brian secures his gun. Mia goes up to him and gives him a kiss.
"She's taking a shower, she needed some help" both Dom and Mia give him a look.
"Help getting out of bed!, not taking a shower" he corrects himself and they all chuckle.
"Thanks for staying here with Eva man!" Dom says as he sits waiting for Eva.
"No problem"
"Come on let's get you some coffee, you look horrible" Mia says holding Brian's hand.
Dom hears the sower turn off and soon after Eva comes out with a little white hospital towel wrapped around her. She's limping and her bruises are more noticeable now than the day before.
"Hi baby did you just get here?" Eva asks as Dom gets up and gives her a kiss, he then helps her sit on the bed.
"Yeah, how you feeling today?" Dom asks looking at the bruise the seatbelt has left on her chest.
"Sore as hell, the doctor was here early and he said the nurse should be coming in with my release forms any minute" she begins to put lotion on but Dom can see she is having a difficult time bending and stretching. He grabs the bottle of lotion from her and she looks at him with disappointed eyes.
"Just lay down" he says, placing the towel so it covers very little of her. Eva doesn't protest one bit. He begins at her shoulders, massaging and working his way down to her arms coming back around her chest. When he reaches her breast he look at her and she has a huge smile on her face.
"Your really enjoying this" he says
"Like your not" she slowly pulls the towel down exposing her breasts. He pours some of the lotion on them and begins massaging them. She lets out a little moan. He realizes that at any given moment someone can walk in, but the though excites him. When he's done with her belly he covers her and does her legs. He loved her thick legs and curvy thighs. He goes all the way down to her toes giving her a nice foot massage. He let's out a laugh hearing her squirm as the sensation tickled her. She turns around with her belly on the bed and he does the same with her back, carefully tracing all her bruises. A few hours ago he was so furious with everything that happened but now being here with her, it just relaxed him, she had a way with him and he wouldn't change it for the world. He covers her with a gown and stares at her.
"You have no idea what you to me" Dom says as she gives him the smiles he s.

"I do, and you do the same to me" they begins to kiss and at that moment Mia walks in with Brian
"Well someone is feeling much better" Mia was glad her friend was well and going home. The nurse walks in right after Brian. She gives Eva the release forms and she sings them. Mia helps her get dressed while the guys wait outside. They leave the hospital and arrive around noon to the house. Brian goes to the precinct to keep working on the case and tells Mia he'll call them if anything came up. Once they get home Dom opens the door and Eva walks in and sees everyone waiting for her. The room was decorated with get well soon signs and they all hugged her and kissed her , Eva stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Mini.
"Did I miss something?" she says pointing to Mini's face.
"Just a misunderstanding, I'll tell you about it later" Mini says trying to keep away from the subject. Eva feels overprotective over Mini, she is the youngest of them and she made a promise to Mini's family that she would take care of her when they moved to California. Vince and Leon decide to go to the shop for a few hours and Jesse tags along.
"You don't need to stay here with me you know" Eva tells Dom who's sitting next to her on the sofa.
"We can take good care of her Dom, she's in good hands" Coco says as she goes to help Mia prepare lunch.
"Yup, so go help the guys in the garage , without me there who knows what they're getting themselves into" Lisa says as she brings over a pillow and blanket for Eva.
"I'm her bodyguard or didn't you know?" Mini says crossing her arms together
Dom leans towards Eva and whispers in her ear "At least her intentions are good" Eva begins to laugh and winces in pain.
"Ouch, don't make me laugh!" she gives him a kiss and he's off to the garage.
About an hour later, the girls are done eating their lunches and Mia goes to drop off some food to the guys. Coco and Lisa and arguing about some movie they are watching. They were like sisters alright! Mini sits next to Eva.
"Have you told him yet?" Mini's eyes are focused on the TV. Eva takes in a breath and let's it out but doesn't answer her question.
"I'll take that as a no" Mini says facing her. Eva turns to her and makes a scoffing sound.
"Do you think I don't know what's at stake here? Well I do and I will tell him when I'm ready" Eva was trying to keep her tone down.
"Mike's already dead, are you waiting for Oscar to be next, or maybe your waiting for Blanca to come knocking on this door?" Mini gets nd wnd walks out the door. Coco and Lisa look up at Eva who has a look that says 'Who is she talking to like that?'
"What is the deal with her lately, yesterday she has a fight with Letty now this" Lisa says realizing Eva didn't know.
"She fought Letty?! Over what?" now Eva is sitting up.
"You had to open your mouth!" Coco spats to Lisa. Eva's head begins to hurt and she gets up from the sofa.
"You OK Eva?" Lisa gets up to help her up.
"I need to sleep, I'm tired" she goes up the stairs and into Dom's room and lays across his bed. Her mind begins to wonder. Dom meant so much to her, her friends are like her family. But now things had changed, there was someone threatening her peace of mind her family the people she loved and she wasn't going to sit by and watch it happen. She gets up and goes backnstanstairs. She finds Coco and Lisa looking at up at her. After looking back at them for what seemed like for ever see finally gets the courage to talk.
"I'm going back to Jersey"
