"I really don’t know about this, Mi.."
Lora stepped out of the bathroom slowly, keeping her eyes on the mirror across the room. She was wearing a thin strapped lacy pale blue sun dress that fell just above her knees and matching blue sandals.
"Lora... you're gorgeous. How are you going to do your hair?"
She shrugged, sitting down at the vanity in Mia's room.
"Jesse likes me to wear it down.."
"That's sweet. Where is he taking you?"
"He didn't say. When I got up this morning there was a note on the bed saying to get ready because we were going out tonight. He said he'd be back at 7pm to pick me up."
Mia smiled, knowingly as she stood behind her friend, scooping up sections of her hair into her hands gently.
"When Jesse sees you we'll have to call an ambulance because he's going to have a heart attack."

Lora walked down the stairswly,wly, smiling at Jesse as he waited at the bottom - holding a single red rose.
"You look... beautiful."
"Thanks.."
Jesse leaned in and kissed her sweetly, wrapping his arms around her waist to hold her for a minute. He had spent the entire day away from her and he felt alone.
Lora took his offered hand and allowed him to lead her out into the yard.
"Oh my god, Jesse.." She muttered, half in shock and amazement. A long stretch limo was waiting for them at the end of the driveway.
"This is.. amazing.."
"The nights just beginning, sweetheart.." Jesse assured, whispering in her ear as he helped her into the limo.

Jesse walked Lora inside the restaurant slowly, holding his palms over her eyes until he sat her down in her chair.
"Okay, open them." He ordered, watching as her eyes opened and she looked around the room in wonder. They were sitting in the same Italian Restaurant they had gone to on their first date, yet the room was deserted from other customers and tables. Red rose petals were all over the floor and table, along with countless pink and white candles.
Lora was speechless, looking up at the waiter as he walked into the room.
"Jesse... I can't believe you did all of this for me.."
"I would do anything for you, baby.."

"Dinner was wonderful. You are such an amazing person."
Lora wrapped her arms around Jesse tightly, smiling as he leaned down and kissed her slowly. She returned the kiss with the same rhythm, feeling his hands in her hair as the kiss deepened.
"Come on, the nights not over yet."
Lora removed her shoes and held them as they walked down the beach. The moon was full above their head - a million stars spread out across the sky - illuminating their surroundings. "Look how beautiful this is.." She murmured, looking out into the vast black ocean.
"I know.." He whispered, never letting his gaze fall from her.
Jesse took her hand and led her towards the beach wall, watching her expression brighten as she saw his set up. Several lit candles and roses were waiting for her, scattered around a section of sand.
"Jesse, this is too much.."
He held her hand, looking deep into her eyes as he mustered up the courage to do his next move. Slowly, he knelt down on one knee - never letting his eyes fall from her own. They were standing in the center of the candles and flowers, Jesse on one knee in front of Lora.
She looked down at him, feeling her hand start to tremble as he removed and opened a small black box from his pocket.
"Lora Marie Williams, I have been in love with you since the moment I met you. You mean more to me then any person I’ve ever known. You are the reason I wake up every morning and my happiness when I fall asleep beside you. I want to give you everything you need in life and I want to be there forever. Without you there's nothing.. and I need you."
Silent, joyful tears fell down Lora's cheeks as she listened to his speech - taking in every word that he said to her, knowing exactly what he meant because she felt it too.
"Lora, will you please give me the honor of being your husband? Will you marry me?"
She took in a breath and smiled, "Yes.."
Jesse sighed happily, quickly placing the ring on her left hand. He stood to his feet and brought her into his arms, holding her in his embrace as she laughed happily and hugged him back.
Dom, Letty, Mia, Brian, Vince and Leon started clapping frantically - emerging from the opposite side of the beach wall.
"Congratulations!!"
Dom, Vince and Leon congratulated Jesse while Mia and Letty hugged Lora. She looked down at the ring on her finger and turned to Jesse, kissing him passionately. He pulled her towards him and returned the kiss as the others cheered and brought out the chips and music - starting their own party in the middle of the beach.
