Violets So Blue
Chapter 2- Violets So Blue
It's so cold. Anna thought to herself when she awoke. And I'm so hungry. I don't ever remember being this hungry before. Then she smelled it- blood. Laying right next to her bed she discovered the shards of the glass Dracula had used the night before. Without thinking, Anna picked up some of the shards and began to suck the remnants off. Looking around wildely, her eyes came to rest on the open bottle he had left and dropping the glass from her hands, she flew across the room and grabbed the bottle. Holding it up to her lips, she tilted her head back and drank from the bottle greedily. She was just beginning to pull it away from her lips when the door swung open and slammed into the wall. Anna didn't even wait for recognition to set in she just flew at the intruder, death in her heart and mind.
Dracula grabbed her hands before they came anywhere near making contact with his face and trapped them behind her back, forcing her body right up agaist his. She struggled fiercly but couldn't budge and eventually became still. With a sinister smile, Dracula spoke.
" Hello Anna, my love, I am so glad to see that you are awake."
And, releasing one of his hands he brushed the hair out of her face and ran his fingers down her jaw and gently over her lips.
Anna snapped her teeth and hissed sharply at him before she spat, "How dare you touch me."
He smiled widely at her words and she watched warily as his teeth began to extend. Leaning forward he scrapped his fangs along her neck.
"I dare, because I can." He whispered. Pulling back he examined her closely. He took in her hair as it curled around her face, her deep brown eyes. Her height- that she stood just at his chin. Everything about her drove him mad, he couldn't wait to have her much longer. It was just about then that he noticed the small drop of blood that was lingering at the corner of her mouth. He smirked and released her and straigtened his coat. "Hungry were we my love?"
Anna backed away from him in confusion. She didn't understand where she was or why it was he said he dared be so familiar with her. A flare of anger coursed through her body and with a snarl she raked her claws across his face then scrambled to the other side of the room. Dracula shook his face in shock and grimaced. He hadn't been expecting such an action and had paid for it. When he knew his wounds had closed, he straightened and looked at her. He slowly began to walk towards her. His patience was beinning to wear thin, he needed her and she was fighting him.
Anna felt her back press up against the wall as she backed away from him. She watched fearfully as he walked towards her and began to tremble as his body came within a few inches of her own. She was trapped between the wall and a cabinent as he leaned forward and placed his lips by her ear.
"There is fresher food around- if you like, I can show you." He gently bit her ear and trailed his lips down her jaw. Anna watched in horror as his tongue sneaked out of his mouth and towards her own. Her knees felt weak as he licked the blood from her lips and she gasped at the sensation. Dracula took advantage of her open mouth to take her in a fierce kiss. His tongue swept into her mouth and shook her senseless. Anna didn't know what to do when he pulled away. Her body was craving the touch of this creature that she was born and bred to destroy. His touch drove her to the brink of insanity and she couldn't understand why all she wanted was more.
