AAF TWO
An alternative future
After the council meeting had been adjourned Anakin lead his husband and their padawan’s up to his quarters. Once inside he headed to his and Obi-wan’s bed chambers and called over his shoulder.
“Luke Sirius I need the two of you to head back to the dorms and begin to pack, when you’ve completed that return here.”
The two senior padawan learners nodded and left the quarters and made their way to their dorm. As soon as they left Anakin let his guard down and melted gratefully into his husbands opening and willing arms.
“Oh god Obi-wan, it’s a repeat of what happened when we first met. Sidious is deliberately making me relive the events leading up to me meeting Padme and you.”
Obi-wan sighed worriedly and commented “if I know Leia as well as I suspect I do, then she will not sign any treaty. Her mother refused to sign a similar treaty all those years ago, and I can’t honestly see Leia doing any different. She is much like her mother, so much so that it’s absolutely terrifying at times.”
Obi-wan placed a gentle a comforting kiss on Anakin’s jaw before he said “come on Ani we’ve got to pack, seeing as we’re due to leave within the next hour and a half.” Anakin nodded and pulled away.
Obi-wan suddenly commented “oh yes by the way speaking of leaving, remind me to not allow Luke near the control panel of the ship, my nervous are still bloody shot to hell after last times stunt show he pulled thank you very much.
I swear to the force and all hell sith’s he flies just like you did at his age. I could have lived more then happily if he had not inherited your flying skills to that degree and level of suicidal intent.”
Anakin couldn’t help it and let out a bark of laughter regardless of how worried he still currently was about their up and coming mission. Anakin said between chuckles.
“I had visions of you shitting your self every time he made a steep dive or a flip. Obi-wan love, our son has my reflexes and skills. Tell me did I ever come close to killing you whilst I was flying?”
Obi-wan snorted and replied dryly “Ani love do you really expected me to answer that? Our son practically scared ten years off of my life thank you very much.
And in regards to your question, the answer is yes, I had many of a vision of ending up splattered beyond recognition whenever you were in the pilot’s seat.”
Anakin began to pack his thing he would need for the mission, Obi-wan followed suit. Anakin chuckled “I’m wounded love, wounded that you think my skills are suicide worthy.” Obi-wan snorted he then continued to pack his own things.
Twenty minutes later Luke and Sirius returned. Anakin and Obi-wan groaned when they realised the teens were bickering yet again. Force they fought like an old married couple.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Luke hissed indignantly. Sirius hissed in reply “you know exactly what I’m going on about, you Luke Skywalker-Kenobi fly like a crazed loon.”
Luke growled “screw you Delacour. I’ve not gotten you killed yet, if anything I’ve saved your ass more times then I can count. I’m more then capable of piloting a speeder thank you very much; I’ve been flying since I was nine.”
Luke stopped and turned “oh yeah and another thing I would like cleared up where the hell did the other padawan’s get the impression that I’m shagging you and I’m to be bonded to you?”
Sirius replied “I could ask you the exact same question. I have never made any such notions or claimed to have been shagging you or being bonded to you. Not that that would be bad or painful thing mind you.”
Suddenly Sirius yelped “FUCK! Look listen Luke forget I said that, you weren’t supposed to hear that.”
There was a lingering silence in the room. Anakin and Obi-wan who were standing behind the door were grinning widely and had to stifle their laughter.
Finally they thought, Sirius finally admits to what Anakin and Obi-wan had sensed since Luke and Sirius were sixteen. Now that left Luke to decide what would happen and to make a move.
Sirius was about to speak when he was cut off, cut off with Luke’s mouth covering his own. Sirius let out a startled squeak before he melted into Luke and kissed him back.
Anakin and Obi-wan quietly came from their hiding place from behind their bedroom door. They grinned like Cheshire cats when they spotted the two teens caught up in a passionate embrace and lip lock, oblivious to the fact they were being observed.
Anakin whistled and commented lightly “well it’s about bloody time you both got a clue and realised your feelings for each other.” Obi-wan and Anakin laughed as the two teens sprung a part as if they’d been burnt.
Luke and Sirius were both blushing furiously but were matching the Cheshire cat grins that were still plastered across Anakin’s and Obi-wan’s faces.
Luke asked “how did you two know?” Anakin laughed and told his son “you two reminded me and Obi-wan of us since you were sixteen. The bickering and the casual glances and brushes against each other, was how me and Obi-wan had been for over a year before we admitted how we felt for each other.”
He continued “I suspect I had been attracted to Obi-wan since I was about sixteen. But the fact I was in love with your mother overshadowed that attraction. Meaning I never pursued said attraction and instead fell even more in love with your mother and married her, shattering your papa's heart unknowingly in the process.”
Obi-wan quickly added knowing how his husband would become upset and guilt ridden every time he thought of what Obi-wan had endured before they had gotten together.
“Ok you lot make sure you’ve got everything you need. Then we need to head out to the landing platform. Master Windu informed me at the end of the meeting that he would arrange a ship for our trip to Naboo.”
Anakin nodded “now come on let’s getting going, we’ve got to go and help you sister with those trade federation pricks.” Luke and Sirius agreed and followed Anakin and Obi-wan out of the door as soon as the two older Jedi masters had grabbed their things.
