You were meant for lovin' me Baby
As Brian and Gabriella reached the vacant driveway that led up to her house, Gab felt her stomach tie in knots. She reached for her seat belt and unlocked it.
"Well, I guess this is it." Gab smiled as she approached the door handle.
"Hey, wait." Brian quickly replied.
"Yeah?" She turned facing him.
"What d'ya say we sit here and talk. I like to get to know the people I drive him." His bright smile melted her heart and she couldn't find the words. Inside she wanted to say 'I should really be getting home. My dad's probably worried sick.'. But instead, she replied with a different answer.
"Sure. Why not?" She smiled and leaned back in her seat.
"So, Mia told me that you've had some issues in the past with guys. Is it true?"
"Oh," she felt herself turn red. "Yes, it is."
"Care to tell me why?" He raised an eyebrow and focused all of his attention on her.
"I don't think this is something I want to be telling a complete stranger." She replied.
"Fair enough. You can take rides home with stranges though?" He counterattacked her. She didn't know what to say.
"Well, we all make mistakes." She could feel her blood being to boil with annoyance.
"Hey now. Relax. I just thought it would be nice to get to know someone like you." He answered quickly sensing he touched a soft spot.
"Someone like me? What's that supposed to mean?" She frowned at him and crossed her arms across her chest.
"What I mean is," He paused searching for the right words. "You're a beautiful girl and it shows that you have a head on your shoulders. What kind of trouble could you possibly have?"
"I just have this thing about dating. Since I was about 17." She calmed down knowing he'd get it out of her anyway.
"It couldn't possibly be that you aren't attractive enough." He smiled at his comment.
"Haha," Gab could feel herself begin to blush. "Thank you. It's not that, it's just I have a had time trusting guys after I was..." Her sentance trailed off.
"After what?" He asked.
"After I was raped." She felt a lump form in her throat but ignored it. She wasn't going to let herself cry infront of him.
"You were raped? When?" His curiousity bubbled.
"Yes, when I was 17." She quickly answered.
"By who? Was he your boyfriend?" He asked.
"Yes, he was actually my first boyfriend. He wanted to do more than I was willing to give up and he got pissed off when I wouldn't go down on him so he took me to a party and got me drunk off my ass knowing he would be able to do it and get away with it scott free." She got pissed off the more she thought about it.
"Your first boyfriend. Wow. What an asshole. Taking advantage of such a beautiful person." He looked down and shook his head.
"Yeah, After that I've found it really hard to trust people. Anyone. Male or female. I don't know why female, but it just happened." She nodded and bit her lip trying to stop the tought of crying.
"I'm so sorry. Did you tell anyone?" He asked.
"Yes, I told my brother." She replied.
"What did he do?" He asked looking up at her almost crying eyes.
"He didn't do anything. He couldn't. At the time he was just getting his life back on track and he was scared to do anything. I told him not to because having him around was more important to me." She looked at Brian. "He and my father are all I have left and I didn't want to risk it. If my brother would have gotten in trouble, he would have been put away for almost his entire life."
"Wow. For someone as fun and polite as you, I would have had no idea you had such a rough life." He frowned and touched her arm gently. "Just for the record, I'm not being nice to you just because I want to get down your pants. I'm doing it because for some strange reason, you sparked my interest. After dating Mia, I haven't looked at another girl the way I have you. You're a rare breed." He smiled at her. That perfectly white smile teared at her. She wanted to be with him. But she couldn't find enough courage to say anything about it. There was something about him that drew her in.
"Thank you. But, what do you mean?" She was flattered but confused. How was she a rare breed?
"Well, you're cute, funny, polite, and you seem to have gotten the Toretto's approval and you've only just met them, correct?" He replied.
"Yeah, I met them today actually." She answred his question quietly.
"It took me a long time to get it. Then I blew it." He laughed at himself.
"That reminds me. What happened between you guys? I shared my darkest secret. You're turn." She snapped back playfully.
"Ah, you got me," He sighed. "I used to be an undercover cop and I was on assignment when I met them. My job was to figure out who was jacking some semi's. At first, I thought it was done by these Japanese guys on crotch rockets. But, I was wrong. I ended up figuring it out. It was Dom, Letty, Vince, Leon and their friend Jessie. Mia wouldn't tell me it was them at first, but I got it out of her because I told her if she didn't tell me, Dom might end up getting killed." He paused. Gab felt her jaw drop. "After I got to where they were going, Something happened and Vince fell off the truck and got his arm caught on some wire. He almost lost his arm and his life. Once we got them to stop, I had to break my cover by calling for help. Dom overheard my conversation and freaked out. Mia, Dom and Leon left when the police got there to take care of Vince. I hurried back to the house and tried to talk Dom out of it. He wouldn't stop. Jessie ended up getting shot and killed by the Japs that I wrongly accused. In the end, I ended up giving Dom the keys to my car and letting him flee. Needless to say, I lost a lot because I did that. I lost my job, my girl, and my friendship with Dom." He sighed.
"Wow." Those were the only words that could come out of her mouth.
"After I left the state and moved back to Arizona, I got a new job and moved on with my life." He glanced up at her and shrugged his shoulders.
"Then how did you end up back here?" She asked.
"I had to go see my dad. He's a cop, that's how I got the job I had. He wanted me to do some stuff for him, so I did. One day I went out to a club to clear my head. Maybe get laid." He laughed. "I saw Mia at the bar. She and I talked and soon enough, Dom ended up coming to the club to see me. I thought for sure he'd kill me. Instead, he invited me to dinner. In the end, they forgave me and understood why I did what I did. Now we're great. I made a memorial car for Jessie with the money I had left from racing and put it in Dom's shop for display." He looked at Gab, waiting for a reply. "What? Aren't you going to tell me what I did was shitty?"
"What? No way. It was your job. It happens. You and Mia never got back together?" She asked.
"No, we both decided it would be better if we didn't. Besides, she had a boyfriend at the time." He frowned with disapproval.
"Ahh," Gab replied.
"Now, we're even." He laughed.
"Yup." She smiled at him. "Brian?"
"Yes?"
"What would you say if I invited you to go swimming with me sometime?" She asked, cocking her head like an eagerly excited puppy.
"Sure." He quickly replied.
"Cool. I should probably get in though." She let out a disappointed sigh. She didn't want to leave yet. She liked Brian. Even though that had just met. She slowly opened the car door and put her leg out. Turning back to him she smiled.
"Hey, wait." He lightly grabbed her arm.
"Huh?" She replied.
"Why wait?" He said.
"What?"
"Got plans for an hour or two?" He said playfully.
"Well, no. But I don't want to wake my dad. Have you ever seen an angry, old mexican?" She said trying to hide her excitement.
"Okay, if you don't want to, that's fine. We can do it tomorrow." He laughed at her comment.
"Okay, here's my cell number. Call me when you get off work." She smiled as she wrote it on the palm of his hand.
"Will do, Beautiful." He winked at her and she felt her stomach jump.
"Talk to ya later." She smiled and got out of the car.
The next morning she woke up at about 9 am. She was still in the clothes she wore the night before but, for the first time in a long time, it didn't bother her at all. She was to excited about hanging out with Brian. Gab laid in her bed for a while before she actually got up. When she did, she jumped in the shower and as she was in there, she just couldn't get Brian off her mind. She wanted him to touch her. To kiss her. To make love to her. She found herself leaning against the shower wall lightly carrassing her perky tits. The more she touched them, the more she got turned on. She slid down the shower wall and turned off the shower head so the faucet was all that was running. She laid in the bath tub with the warm wather surrounding her. She closed her eyes and dreamt of Brian touching her as she ran her hand down her soaking wet, flat stomach. Soon, she had reached her pussy. She was so caught up in the thought of him touching her, that she became very horny. She lightly teased herself by running her fingers up and down her pussy lips.
"Mmmmm" She moaned to herself.
She then began to run her clit. Soft and slow. She was thinking about Brian eating her pussy. She started to go faster, rubbing her clit and massaging her tits.
"Ooooh.." She said louder.
She stopped for a second and positioned herself under the water faucet. She laid in the tub and spred her legs far so that the already running faucet with run on her pussy. She felt the water hit sometimes soft, sometimes hard. Whatever it was, it felt amazing. She began to feel herself climax and arched her back.
"Oooooh YES!" She screamed. Feeling herself cum, she reached down and rubbed her pussy a little more. Making her cum harder. Once she was finished, she just relaxed in the water.
"GABRIELLA!!!!" She heard someone yelling for her and quickly got out of the bathtub and wrapped a towel around her.
"What?" She replied.
"Come here." The voice said.
"Hang on." She replied snappy and opened the door to find Adrian and Brian standing there. She was so embarrassed. She noticed Brian's eyes huge. "WHAT?" She yelled.
"Brian's here." Adrian laughed at seeing his sister in a very short and revealing towel that was soaked from the water. It was almost see through.
"No shit." She smiled at Brian and frowed at her brother.
"Uh, I was just stopping by to see if you wanted to go swimming? But, If you have different plans, I understand." He said quickly and looked away from her almost naked body.
"Adrian. Buddy. Pal. Come here a sec." Gab said in a angelic voice.
"Sorry sis." He said followed by a laugh.
"Adrian. Brother. I love you." She said calmly working herself to her angry feeling.
"Yes?" He replied not knowing what was going to come next.
"*grabbed his arm and pulled him down on the couch* IF YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN, I'M GANNA TELL MIA YOUR LITTLE BED WETTING PROBLEMS. GOT IT?" She grabbed on this his arm tighter.
"OUCH! Yes, I'm sorry. Really, I am. I'm gone." Adrian grabbed his sore arm and ran out of the room. "good luck." Adrian whispered back to Brian.
"I'd love to go swimming. Do you have a suit?" She asked.
"Y-yes." Brian was frightened of her now. She didn't want that.
"Aw, Brian. Listen, I'm not mad at you and I'd never hurt you like I did him. He's a little punk and KNEW I was taking a shower. He pushed my last button. haha. Why don't you go down to the pool and I'll get changed and meet you down there. Make yourself at home." She smiled and hugged him tightly not wanting to let go. He smiled at her and walked downstairs and headed toward the pool.
When Gabriella walked out to the pool deck, she noticed he wasn't in yet. She was confused but didn't care. Looking at that hot tanned body laying in the sun was enough for her. She felt the butterflies start going at it in her stomach and she hated it. She walked over to him, staring down at him.
"Uh, excuse me. You're blocking my sun." Brian said in a snotty rich girl immatation. She laughed.
"Oh, Is this better?" She moved and the sun was now no where on his body." She cocked her head and wrinkled her nose. Then, walked away to the table to set her stuff down. She slowly took the towel from around her body and set it on the chair. She rubbed sun screen on her arms and shoulders and then on her stomach and chest. She didn't even pay attention to Brian at first. She stood up and turned to him.
"Did you need some?" She offered the bottle to him.
"No, that's fine. I don't burn." He chuckled and stood up. "Did you want me to help you?" He offered. Knowing the only reason he was was simply because he found her to die for in her bright pink bikini and just wanted to touch her.
"Nah, I'm fine. I'll be on my back most of the ti-" she cut herself off and her eyes got huge. "That's not what I meant."
"Hahahaha!" Brian couldn't stop laughing. "Is that what you have planned for us today?" He smirked at her and stared at her perfect body. Wishing what she said was really going to happen.
"NO! We're not." She set her stuff down and walked over to the pool.
"Is it cold?" He asked.
"There's only one way to find out." She stood at the edge of the pool and put her hair up in a pony tail and then looked back at him and dove in. It was the perfect dive. She was perfect. As she came to the surface she looked up at him. "You coming?"
"Not yet." He laughed and jumped in on top of her. She screamed and went under with him on top of her. She struggled to get back up but he held her down and then started to tickle her. Eventually she wiggled her way out of his grasp and swam away. She came up and caught her breath.
"YOU BASTARD! I could have drowned!!" She screamed but laughing at the same time.
"So?" He smiled back at her as he just floated around the pool.
"So? You'd let me drown? What a nice guy." She said as she swam over to him.
"I could have saved you." He replied.
"How? You were sitting on me!" She scolded him.
"Simple. I could have gotten off you, taken you to the cement and give you mouth to mouth." His grin was huge while waiting for her reply.
"OH! You just want to kiss me. I see. I see." She laughed and crawled on a floaty near by.
"I have a question." Brian said, sounding a lot more serious.
"Sure, what?" She said as she got comfortable on the raft.
"At the party last night," He started to say.
"yeah?"
"Letty pulled me aside when you went to find your brother."
"Yeah?" Curious as to what she said to him.
"She said that you really liked me. That you were explaining the perfect guy and that's why Mia introduced us. I met all of the qulifications." He said, looking up at her with one eye open because the sun was so bright.
"Yeah?" She said. "So?"
"I'm your perfect guy?" He asked.
"Well, I don't know you that well, but physically...yes." She smiled.
"Good."
"What?" Confused at his answer, she cocked her head.
"I'm just saying, I like you a lot. You're beautiful and smart. You don't take shit from anyone and you have a sense of humor." He paused "You're not like those other girls that are always at Dom and Mia's place."
"Why am I so different?"
"You aren't a whore. You're smart. You don't act stupid to get attention. You're very family oriantated and at the same time, you're not boring but you're not to much of a party girl." He smiled at her and lightly stroked her hand with his thumb.
"Sounds like you're describing your perfect girl." She laughed and felt the butterflies act up again.
"Why describe her when I'm looking at her." He kissed her hand gently and looked up at her pleased at the reaction.
"Stop it." she said bashfully. "You're making me blush."
"You're cute when you're blushing." He said.
"Wait, I know what this is." She sat up on the raft taking her hand away from him.
"You're just trying to soften me up to get me in bed and then brag to all your friends you fucked a rich girl." She felt irratated.
"No. No. No. Not at all. That's not what I meant. I was being honest." He said to his defence.
"Right, I know what you're like. You're just like Dom, Leon, Jessie, all of them. You just wanted a peice of ass. Well, newsflash Brian, I'm not just a peice of ass." She got out of the pool and grabbed her towel and headed in the house.
*Knock Knock Knock*
"Go away, I'm in the bathroom." Gab said as she was sitting on the toilet crying. Trying not to let him hear.
"Gabriella, listen to me. I'm not like Dom and the rest of the crew. I'm not. I like you." He said listening in trying to hear her talking.
"Yeah, right." She said.
"I'm not. I promise you. I do like you a lot. You're pretty, and smart, and funny. You've got it goin' on sista." He said hoping he'd get a laugh out of her.
"Yeah, right." She sniffed.
"Babe, I didn't mean to make you cry. Come out here and talk to me. Why are you acting like this?"
She came out, still in her towel with tearstained cheeks. Brian walked over to her and placed his hand on the side of her face, wiping a fresh tear away.
"Gabriella Lopez, I would never hurt you. I know we've only known eachother a few days but from everything you've told me, you deserve to be shown that not all men are bad. I, for one, think I'm the best man to show you that." He smiled at her. His bright blue eyes made her melt. "And, we don't have to have sex at all if you don't want to. I know what you've been through and I would never in a million years force you to do something like that. It's a big thing. Whadya say? Give me a chance?" His puppy dog eyes made her stomach go wild.
"*sniff* Yeah, I'll give you a chance." She smiled at him.
"Good." He grinned and kissed her forehead.
"I have to change my clothes, so you can stay in my room." She said as she looked away and headed to the bathroom.
"Sure." He said and sat on her bed, looking at the photos of her family that she had sitting next to her bed on her night stand. He noticed a CD on the table. He picked it up and it was a very firmiliar tune. He popped it in. Gab came out of the bathroom and Brian walked over to her and began to sing.
"All you need is Love." He circled her. She had no choice but to play along.
"All you need is Love." He said once again. She felt herself start laughing.
"All you need is Love." He chuckled at himself sounding like a broken record.
"Love is just a game." She said ask she playfully walked away with her nose in the air.
"I was made for loving you baby, You were made for loving me." He kept singing the song.
"The only way of loving me baby, Is to pay a lovely fee." She played around with it making herself sound like a whore.
"Just one night, Just one night" He fell to his knees wanting her.
"There's no way, Cause you can't pay" She laughed as she lightly pushed his head away.
"In the name of Love, One night in the name of Love" He begged as the music went on.
"You crazy fool, I won't give in to you" She sang along and shook her head.
"Don't...leave me this way, I can't survive, Without your sweet Love, Oh baby, don't leave me this way" He begged, crawling around following her around the room.
"You'd think that people would have had enough of silly Love songs" She sang.
"I look around me, And I see it isn't so, no" He laughed as he put his hands on his chest.
"Some people wanna fill the world with silly Love songs" Gab started to sing and realize what he was doing. She walked to her bed and sat down. She was laughing so hard. That she missed half the song. She got back up and tried to find her spot.
"We could steal time, Just for one day" He grabbed her hand.
"We could be heroes, Forever and ever,
We could be heroes, Forever and ever, We could be heroes" They both began to sing in unison. They got caught in the moment. He was staring deep in her eyes and leaned in for a kiss. She couldn't resist. They kissed a long and passionate kiss as the song ended.
"Since when do you listen to show tunes?" She asked after the kiss so it wouldn't be awkward.
"Since I was a kid. My mom was an actress. She always had show tunes playing. While my dad had rock goin'." He laughed as they both laid on her bed looking at the ceiling holding hands.
"You have a gorgeous voice. But, I promise I won't tell the guys." She joked.
"You sound like an angel." He said as he got up, using his elbows to prop him up. "You look like one too." He smiled and leaned down to kiss her again.
The rest of the day went by smooth. They kicked back and relaxed. Watching movies, pigging out on food, laughing, cuddling. The whole night went great. Gab couldn't have felt better. But, she still felt bad for accusing him of something she thought he would do. He left and she went to bed. Thinking of the whole day. The good parts and the bad. She fell as soon as her head hit the pillow.
*Riing* *Riing* *Riing*
Gabriella rolled over and looked at her alarm clock and noticed it was 2 in the morning. She had just fallen asleep and was going to let the call go, but she couldn't.
"Hello?" She said in a groggy voice.
"Gab? Is this you?" A very worried voice asked.
"Yes? Who is this?" She sat up and snapped out of her grogginess.
"It's Mia. There's been an accident." She said, sounding like she was almost in tears.
"An accident?" She was confused. Why would Mia be calling her?
"Yes, an accident. We were having our nightly party as usual and Brian showed up. He was happy and he told me about how great of a time he had with you and how much he liked you when Johnny Tran came busting in the door with his gang pissed off. They were looking for Dom. Dom wasn't home at the time, so they got even more pissed and pulled out their guns. Brian got up and told them to relax that they could talk about whatever the problem was. That violence wasn't needed. Tran lost it, and - " She stopped.
"And?" Gab said.
"Brian was shot, Gab. He's in the hospital now. They don't think he's going to make it." Mia didn't know how to break it to her, so she just came out with it.
"W-what?" The wind was knocked out of her.
"He might die, Gab." She said more blunt but with pity. She felt terrible.
Gab dropped the phone and got out of bed. She was walking like a ghost through the hallway to her brother's room. The door was already open the light was on. Adrian was awake. As she entered the room, Adrian was confused.
"Gab? Are you okay? You look like you just seen a ghost." He said as he got up and went to his sister. "What's wrong?"
"Brian" She barely got the name out.
"Brian? What about him? Did he play you?" He felt himself get hot thinking about it. Ready to beat his ass.
"Shot." She said quietly.
"W-what?" He asked.
"Brian was shot. He's in the hospital. He might not make it." She looked at her brother and tears filled her eyes. "He might die." She repeated herself.
"Oh, Gab." Adrian said as he took his sister in his arms and let her cry. "Want to go to the hospital?" He asked as he pulled her away from him, moving the tear soaked hair off of her face. All she could do was nod. They quickly got dressed and went left to go to the hospital.
Once they got there, they found the whole gang there. Dominic and Letty holding eachother on the couch in the waiting room, Mia with her head in her hands leaning over, Vince drink a water, Leon staring off in space. Once they noticed Adrian and Gab, they all stood up.
"Have you heard anything?" Adrian spoke up, knowing his sister couldn't.
"No. They won't tell us anything. We're not family." Dom said as he walked over to Gab. "Are you alright?" He asked. She couldn't speak. She just nodded.
The doctor walked out into the waiting room and Gab was the first to speak up.
"Doctor, is he alright?" She said quickly.
"Are you family." The thin, attractive woman asked.
"I'm his girlfriend." She said quickly.
"I can't say anything unless family is here." She replied. Feeling sorry for Gab.
"Listen, Miss. Please. I'm his girlfriend. Tell me something." She begged the Doctor.
"*sigh* Alright. If anyone asks, you're his fiancee, got it?" She said.
"Yes." Almost not letting the Doctor finish what she was saying, Gab replied.
"The gun shot went deep. He's in a coma. He might not wake up." The Doctor felt the pain Gab was feeling.
"C-can I go in?" She said, trying to fight back the tears.
"Yes. You can go in. You can take that girl with you. You look like sisters. It works. That way I don't get into anything with the staff." She said.
"Okay, thank you." Gab looked at Mia and headed to Brian's room.
They quietly walked in the room. Seeing him laying in the hospital bed, killed Gab. She walked over and took his hand and kissed his forehead.
"Baby, it's me. Gabriella. Can you hear me?" She asked, hoping for a responce.
Mia came up to the side of Gab and touched her shoulder. "Hun, he can't hear you."
"He might be able to. He might just be playing. He does that." She said, feeling herself start to cry harder. "He can't leave me. Not now. Not now that he's got me." Tears ran down her face.
"Gab," Mia tried to pull her away but she wouldn't let go. Gab sat in the chair next to the bed and held on to his hand tighter. She couldn't think of anything to do.
"Mia, go home. Get some sleep. I'm staying here." She said.
"I'm not leaving you." She pulled up a chair next to her. "I'm with you 'til the end." She smiled and leaned back in the chair. Before Mia knew it, she was out. Gab soon followed her.
In the morning, the sun was shining through the windows and Gab looked at him. He looked lifeless. She hated seeing him like that. She kiss his hand.
"Baby, it's morning. Wake up." She lightly carassed his hand. With no responce, Gab heard the Doctor from the night before walk in. "Is there any improvement?" She asked.
"A little, but not much." She looked at the screen next to the bed and checked his charts. "You've been here all night?"
Gab nodded, looking back at Brian.
"Why don't you go home. I promise you can come back." The doctor said.
"No, I'm not leaving him." She said lightly.
"Alright, I'll bring you some food from the waiting room." The doctor left.
"Baby, please wake up. You can't leave me. Not now." She said quietly. She remembered the song they sang in her room the night before. They never finished the song. She leaned down and whispered in his ear, "How wonderful life is now you're in the world." She said softly.
