Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Nicky’s was as crowded as it ever was that evening as the two younger Sons of Ipswich walked in. Reid made a beeline for the pool table, where Aaron and his friends were hanging out, leaving Tyler to follow at a slower pace.

Tyler had been feeling incredibly uncomfortable around Reid since that morning. Several times that day he could have sworn the older boy was flirting with him, but that couldn’t be right. Reid was as straight as they come. But it wasn’t the fact that it was a guy flirting with him that made him uncomfortable, it was the fact it was Reid, the boy he’d had a crush on, perhaps even been in love with, for several months. What if Reid had figured it out and was playing with him? No, he wouldn’t do that…would he?

He crossed over to where Caleb and Pogue were playing foosball.

“Hey,” he said.

“Oh, hi Tyler,” said Pogue, not looking at him.

“Reid’s been acting weird.”

“Uh huh.” Tyler felt as spasm of annoyance as he was ignored.

He watched them play for a few minutes, until Caleb groaned and Pogue gave a yell of triumph. Then he turned around to go over to the pool table only to collide with Reid.

“Hey there, Baby Boy,” he said with a smirk that looked nothing like his usual one. If anything, it looked more like Chase’s. “You okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine,” said Tyler worriedly. Something wasn’t right here.

“I was thinking about heading back to the dorms. Mind if I borrow your car?”

“I’ll drive you.”

Reid’s smirk widened. Tyler eyed him nervously as they walked to the car.

---

Chase shamelessly eyed Tyler’s ass as they walked down the corridor towards their dorm. The younger boy seemed a little jumpy. Looks like he’ll need to speed up his plan a little on that front.

'I think I’ll make a move on Baby Boy. Doesn’t he look good in those pants?'

Reid’s mind stirred from lying dormant for most of the day. 'Don’t you fucking touch him!'

'Oh don’t say you don’t agree with me, I’ve seen inside you head. You couldn’t love the boy more if you tried.'

'Don’t be stupid, I’m not gay.'

'Lie to yourself all you want, but you can’t lie to me.' Reid seethed quietly as Chase stepped into the room behind Tyler and closed the door, locking it. A feral grin crossed his face as he approached the other boy from behind and wrapped his arms around his slender waist.

“I want you…” he whispered softly. Tyler stiffened, mind exploding with confusion.
“Reid…?”
“Hush.” He grabbed him and spun him around, pressing there lips together hungrily. Tyler gave a cry of shock and tried to pull back but Chase tightened his arms to prevent his escape. Something was wrong about this, Reid may have been a womaniser but he was never forceful.

Chase pulled back from the kiss and stared at the look of shock on Tyler’s face, amused. He grabbed Tyler’s wrists and forced him to walk backwards to one of the bed, shoving him down and straddling him, holding his hands down above his head. Tyler struggled vainly, but Chase held him down with more than physical strength.

“Now now, I know you want this just as much as I do.” He leaned down and kissed him again, more forcefully than the last time, his free hand drifting under Tyler’s shirt and ignoring his muffled protests. Tyler began to feel something he’d never felt towards Reid; Fear.

When the kiss was finally broken, he stared up into the familiar blue eyes of Reid, but there was a strange otherness to them. Understanding dawned, and fear almost turned to panic.

“Chase.”

His captive smirked. “Clever boy. Now I think is a good time to take this party elsewhere.” He waved his hand over Tyler’s eyes, and everything went black.
