A Safer Place
The ride to the hotel was short and – not what he wanted.
As they pulled up to the front of the Gotham Hotel, and the car stopped, he looked over at her and one arm dropped along the top of the seat. Fallyn gave him a weak smile and turned to look at the lobby doors, a soft sigh. “Guess I should….” She mumbled softly and started to open the door, but there was a sudden *click* and when she pulled on the handle, the door wouldn’t open. A blink and she looked over her shoulder at him.
“Change of plan…” he said with a small grin and drove away from the hotel.
The way to his apartment building was relatively quiet as she settled back into the leather passenger seat as he drove and pulled into the underground parking garage and to his space. She gave a look around the garage and then back to him and he could have sworn he saw a playful light in her eyes.
He would have been right if he’d vocalized it.
“So…this is the new place of residence?” she asked.
He nodded slightly as he studied her in the darkness of the dimly lit garage and one hand reached up, fingertips brushing against her cheek as they made their way into her hair and a gentle fistful of golden silk taken, pulling her closer and into a heated kiss.
Fallyn fell into the kiss easily, more and more it was becoming easier, one hand on the console to keep her from falling and the other trailing down his chest to his lap, fingers poking and prodding. He growled softly into the erotic dance of tongues, and shifted just a bit giving her room to do what she seemed to want to.
She grinned into the kiss and fingers deftly eased down the zipper, then slid into the trousers and eased out his once-more erect penis as he could only offer a quiet groan feeling her fingers surround it, fighting to keep his hips from thrusting into her hand, wanting to know precisely how she was going to take care of this “problem”.
Fallyn pulled back from the kiss, but not completely before a lick at his lips and her teeth nipped at his bottom lip. Then slowly she pulled back and looked down, a slow lick of her lips and she leaned over, but rather than immediately swallowing him, she had reached over with her other hand to flip the lever up on the seatback and let him lay back a bit more. He jumped at the sudden falling back of the seat and she put one hand on his chest. “Ssshhhh…calm, Commissioner.” She said softly. A brush of her lips to his to keep him quiet and when he nodded, she eased back downward and he felt her moving around the pants, pushing them out of the way and easing them open a bit more. He looked down, one arm under his head to use as a pillow and the other hand moving down to gently brush along her shoulder, her arm, her back. Just the feel of her soft skin excited him and for what she somehow knew what he loved, she was an angel.
A kiss to the swollen head of his erection and he gasped, biting on his lip to keep from making any more noise other than that and she grinned up at him. “Wasn’t quite ready, huh?” she said with a wicked grin.
“Don’t push it, girl,” he said with a soft snort.
Fallyn just snickered softly and went back to the task at hand. As one hand wrapped fingers around the erection, she laid small kisses along the shaft, from base to tip and then back down. His shivering was a direct response she had wanted and as she had reached the nest of dark curls again, she slid the flat of her tongue completely up along his length and the tip of her tongue flicked against the slit, gathering a few drops of pre-cum that was already escaping. This wasn’t going to take long at all.
Gordon watched her for as long as he could, but when she started with the tongue teasing, he had to drop his head back, the arm under it now over his eyes and a soft groan as he felt his body tensing. How this girl knew all the right moves amazed him really. She wasn’t the normal streetwalker…she seemed educated and sincere. Someone he could really see spending the rest of-
Suddenly a sharp jolt back to reality feeling her teeth against the over-sensitive skin and he yelped, not being able to keep that one quiet.
She froze for a moment and waited, But the position she was in was…well….lips pressed to the end of his cock and fingers tight around him. Those big green eyes looking up at him with all the innocence of the world. He looked down and a small smile, feeling the sweat drops forming on his forehead.
“G-go on…p-please…” he stuttered in a hoarse whisper.
At his insistence, she parted her lips and pressed the tip past said lips and into her mouth, covering her teeth and pushing him deeper into her warm inviting mouth. Quiet moans that added a vibration to the shaft, sending the sudden feelings through his body and he tried to shift away but found himself beginning to thrust slowly into her mouth as she began to drive him in and out. Her hand following her mouth, slowly, a twist here, a suck there and as he began to respond a bit more, she began to move faster and finally the bobbing of her head was too much and his fingers tightened in her hair in a fruitless effort to pull her off of him, but she growled deep, the reverberations echoing into his body as his other hand hit the steering wheel – actually the horn – and the loud, echoing *HONK* of the horn in the dead silent garage caught him in a shock which sent him over the edge of the cliff with a yell, and before she could laugh, she felt him shooting off down her throat and she swallowed all he had to give until he was spent and then licking all around and over as she eased the half-erect member from her mouth, returning him to the past state and then sitting up, pressing her lips to his in another deep kiss.
There was something about…. Well, his ex-wife rarely did much but lay there and demand he do what he wanted –BUT- nothing…..‘funny’. So when he tasted himself on her tongue and felt those same lips against his that moments before were driving him past the insanity of it all, the hand in her hair tightened again and he wanted to stay here this way for the rest of forever and just….be here.
Finally a few minutes later after he had controlled his breathing and he’d eased up in her hair, she was able to ease back from the kiss and looked into his eyes. “So…. Who would want that to disappear into nothing? I think that’s grounds enough for police protection…don’t you, Commissioner?”
He looked at her with all the wonder of finding what he’d been missing for the last 15 years. Even though he had let go of her hair, his hand still was enmeshed with it, gently massaging the side of her head near her ear. “Where….have you been—“
“If you say ‘all my life’ I’m going to hurt you.” she said with a mock glare.
He laughed softly and shook his head, sitting up in the seat again and his other hand returning the back to its normal position. “Definitely need to get you upstairs and settled….before we’re both arrested for indecent exposure.”
She chuckled softly as she got the door open and climbed out of the car. “Seems the only one indecent is you, copper.” A wink and she closed the door and walked around to the driver’s side and leaned back against the rear door.
Gordon got out of the car and hit the button on the remote to lock it and set the alarm and turned to her, pressing against her, hands on either side of her, trapping her against the car.
“Not smart, Commissioner…” she purred softly, leaning closer and raking her teeth against the side of his throat, nuzzling against his jaw.
He closed his eyes and sighed softly. Whatever he’d done in a former life to get this as karma now….”Fallyn, please…” he mumbled softly, having to fight to remember how to form words, even if it was only two.
“Hmmmm?” she said softly, easing back and looking up at him with a slow blink.
He looked down at her and a lopsided grin. “You’re going to be the death of me…” he said softly and a kiss to her forehead, taking her hand and leading her to the elevator and inside. She held onto his hand the entire time, even when being the eternal child and pushing every button of every floor they passed by all the way up to the 12th floor and finally out.
He had to laugh at her, having a feeling that if he chastised her she wouldn’t listen anyway. Walking down the hall to 1240, he unlocked the door and turned on the lights, leading her inside.
‘This is great!” She said, taking a look around.
He looked around and a calm shrug, hanging the long coat on the coat tree near the door, and tossing his key onto the table nearby as well. “It’s home now. Probably will be for a while yet.”
She walked into the large living room, then to the kitchen off to the left and a spin around and she headed for the bedroom and stopped in the doorway and a look at him sideways. “One?”
He walked over to her, tugging at his tie to loosen it and getting up behind her, he slid his arms around her waist and kissed the back of her shoulder, nuzzling into her hair and a mumble. ‘Well I can always sleep out here. The couch turns into a bed too…”
“The hell you will,” she said with a snort and a look at the bathroom. HOT SHOWER! And she spun on her heel to face him, a mild surprised look on his face for a moment then a smile.
“Tell ya what..you get dinner ready and I’ll take a shower? Give me 20 minutes….” And a kiss to the tip of his nose as she wriggled out of his grasp and bounced into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. He shook his head with a grin and headed into the kitchen, tossing the tie across the back of the couch as he passed it and into the kitchen. He had some leftover spaghetti and meatballs and he warmed it up In the microwave, heating up some garlic bread as well and setting the table, a couple of glasses, some silverware and plates, opening a bottle of wine. Hearing the water stop finally, he took a drink from the bottle and hearing the bathroom door open, he walked over to the bedroom, leaning against the door jam, still holding the bottle and watching her as she dropped the towel that had been wrapped around her as she opened the top dresser drawer and tugged out one of his t-shirts and slipped it on, pulling her hair out of it and then turning , but a gasp of surprise seeing him in the doorway.
“Dinner’s about ready.” He said softly, still not able to take his eyes off of her.
She strolled across the bedroom and up to him, taking the bottle out of his hand and taking a long drink from it, her gaze never leaving his. Finally she let the bottle down and handed it back. “Nice …at least you got the good stuff and not the $3 a bottle special.”
“Never for a lady,” he mumbled softly as he leaned forward and pressed into a kiss, his lips finding hers like two magnets and she whimpered softly as his free hand slid along the side of her neck and into her damp hair, holding her into the kiss for a bit longer. Finally when he let her ease back, he grinned and took her hand and the bottle and led her out to the dining table.
Pulling out a chair for her, she sat down and looked at the bowl of spaghetti and meatballs and the bread and the small salads he even was able to throw together. “This looks great!” And he began serving out the food, a small smile as he finished and sat down himself.
“Nothing special. You learn little tricks when you’re forc—“ And he stopped for a moment, looking down at his plate with a soft sigh. “Sorry.”
She watched him for a moment and the smile faded for a moment but came back once more as she chewed on a meatball. “Why’re you apologizing? Did you do something heinous and most evil?” Big innocent green eyes blinking at him.
He chuckled softly, finding he couldn’t help it. “I..don’t mean to keep bringing up the reason I’m here.”
“Seems you may need to talk about it to someone, Commissione—“ A halfhearted glare at her and she smirked and changed. “Jim..”
He smiled and for a while they went on with dinner. Soon enough the food was gone and the only thing left was the last of the wine. He refilled their glasses for the last time and stretched back in his chair, twirling the glass by the stem in his fingers and studying the liquid inside.
“It hasn’t been for too long, has it?” she asked softly.
“Hmm?” a look up. The strain was still evident on his face.
“This…the divorce….you haven’t been like this for long.”
He shook his head and took a drink of wine. “Two weeks come Monday. But the papers had been filed the week before that. When we were on the edge with…”
“Dent? And letting Batman take the fall for him”
His gaze shot to her and a slight frown. “How did you…..no one knew about that!!”
She shrugged one slim shoulder and took a sip of the wine. “Sometimes all one has to do is see with more than their eyes.” And she looked into his. “Yours tell a story. An entire tale….and one day I may be able to recall it from you. But for now…” another drink. “I’ll have to rely on you to fill in the blanks.” And a playful wink at him.
He blinked and then realizing the double meaning, he laughed, shifting his gaze to the glass once more and a –
“Why Commissioner! That’s sweet!”
He looked upa gain. “What is?”
“You blushed….just now.”
“Oh I did not…” he said. “Men don’t –“
“Yes! Don’t deny it!” And she stood up and walked over to him, one hand running fingers through his hair and a smile as she headed for the living room and the couch, sitting down, leaning back into one corner and stretching her legs out along the rest of the sofa. It wasn’t the most comfy in the world, and obviously the furniture came with the apartment. “We’re definitely going to have to do something about this…” she mumbled as she took another drink and set the glass on the coffee table.
“Do something about what/” he said as he followed her and sat down as well, taking her feet up onto his lap and began massaging her toes.
“He’d only get a simple grin. “Thank you.” She said softly.
“For what? I’m doing the city a favor protecting a star witness.” He said with a smirk.
“For believing me.”
Gordon turned and looked at her. “You don’t have to thank me. In fact I should be thanking you. You’ve helped so much already.”
Another few moments and she turned around, laying back against him, snuggled against his side as he dropped an arm around her to hold her close. She snatched the remote for the tv up and turned it on, finding an old movie about Prohibition and Eliot Ness and a few dangerous criminals.
Twenty minutes later they were both sound asleep.
As they pulled up to the front of the Gotham Hotel, and the car stopped, he looked over at her and one arm dropped along the top of the seat.
