The Romulan Queen ~ Three
Three
The darkness lifted from her mind and Nyota felt weightless as if someone was carrying her. She felt her body placed on something soft and slowly opened her eyes. Pain slowly began to seep into her body as she became aware of her surroundings. Nyota looked down her body to see blood flowing from between her thighs.
Nero turned at the sound of sobbing. The female slowly curled up into a tight ball and sobbed uncontrollably. Her tears moved him into action. He moved to the side of the bed and placed one arm behind her curled body as he leaned over to get close to her ear.
“You are still untouched. He did not succeed.”
He watched as the realization of his words began to sink into her mind. Her sobbing quieted and the grip on her body lessened. Nero moved his hand from behind her back, reached down, and slowly moved the hair covering her face to make sure her tears had stopped. She was beautiful. Her skin brown was flawless even from this distance. He knew why the men behaved like savages around her. They wanted to possess her and take her beauty as their own because she rejected them. She would hold on to her beauty until someone worthy of it presented himself but it would not be easy for her on board Magellan. They already had her scent and the hunt had begun. Thoughts of wife flooded his mind as he stared down at the calm female. Mandara was like her. She was beautiful and hunted for it.
Nero released the hair and let the thick strand fall back onto the bed with others. He continued to stare down at her waiting for her to look at him. After a while, she turned her head to look up at him. Dark brown eyes stared up at him slightly moist but the tears were gone.
“What is your name?”
“Nyota,” She rolled onto her back and revealed the torn clothing. His eyes dipped towards her full breasts before she could cover them. Nero grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her semi nude body. His hands touched the skin of her arms as she grabbed it to quicken his actions. He slowly released the blanket into her care and returned his hand to the other side of the bed near her hip as he stared at her.
“Nyota,” His voice was soft but held no emotion.
Ayel did not wonder why Nero lingered beside the bed. It had been two years since he had touched a woman and she was beautiful. He also knew she reminded Nero of his dead wife and the fact that he had to protect her from those that wanted her just like with Mandara. Nero needed comfort and love. The love would take time but his comfort could come sooner with this Nyota. She did not fear him or hate him. Ayel knew she felt sorrow for him. All of Starfleet knew of the death of his wife at the hands of Admiral Henry.
Nero waved his hand towards another of his crew and the Romulan came forward. “This is Mhorin. He is our healer and he will tend to the cut on your thigh.”
Nyota nodded as the doctor came forward however, Nero did not move from his position beside her. She felt the blanket move from the injured area as Mhorin began to work.
“You should not go anywhere alone.”
His voice penetrated Nyota’s concentration on the healer. She raised her gaze along the markings on the Romulan leader’s face then slowly moved to his eyes. “I did not know it would be like this. I also did not think Captain Nelson would go this far and hurt me. We only wanted to repay him for firing on the Klingons, damaging our ship and almost causing our deaths. We came here to repair it. We know that Admiral Henry cannot be trusted the Federation is working on dismissing him but Henry so far has avoided their efforts. Even after his neglect of the citizens on Fada causing their deaths they still are unable to force him to resign. I had no idea of the breakdown of common decency here on Magellan.”
Ayel stepped forward to weigh in on the conversation. “Grattan informed us regularly about this Captain Nelson. He had information on the Admiral that was very damaging to his life but he refused to give them to the Federation even after Fada. He is protecting Henry and that protection gives him power. There are no rules for Nelson here he has free reign and you are what he wants. He will recover from the beating inflicted on him by Nero. It is not safe for you to return to your ship he has a contact there. You should stay here until he leaves or his death comes first.”
He saw Nero flinch when he suggested that she stay. He needed someone to jar him back into life. Every night Nero listened to the last recording that Mandara sent him from Fada. The entire one thousand-man crew knew this was his ritual. He would always turn it off before she said goodbye. He would not let her go. Ayel prayed for peace for his lord every night perhaps the answer to his prayers lay in the bed before them.
Mhorin finished his bandage on her thigh and Nyota sat up holding the blanket to her chest. Nero did not move his hand from around her body and that decision placed his body very close to hers. Nyota stared into his eyes for a moment before noticing the technical design of the room she was in.
“We are on a ship.”
“Yes,” Ayel answered for Nero.
She looked at him and then returned her gaze to Nero. “How does one that is hunted by the Federation dock at a Federation star station?”
“Payment outweighs loyalty here. There are those that dislike Admiral Henry as much as we do. They had relatives and acquaintances that died on Fada.” Ayel again answered for Nero who continued to allow him. The Romulan leader slightly turned his head towards his first mate and friend.
“How is it not detected?” Uhura stared at him and the others in wonder. What were they planning while living in their enemy’s house?
“We are cloaked and we are hidden from their computers because of Jeryu’s technical abilities.”
Nyota looked at Nero as her grip on the blanket began to weaken as the answer to her question came to her. “You are planning your revenge on Admiral Henry yourself.”
Nero did not answer. He watched the blanket slowly slide down the brown skin of her breasts. He was unable to do anything else but watch the displayed skin before him. His hand reached out and stopped the blankets descent when the nipples were about to come into view. She gasped and pulled the blanket up over her shoulders.Nero pulled his hand back and stared into her surprised face.
“The less you know the better.” He turned and walked away from the bed heading for the door of the medical bay. Ayel began following him.
“Should I prepare a room for her Nero?” Mhorin asked handing Nyota some clothing. Nero did not turn around as he stood before the door. He whispered something to Ayel.
“The Emperor has granted her stay until her ship is repaired and the contact destroyed.”
Nero did not mention the last of Ayel’s words but he did not correct him as he walked from the room. Ayel walked beside in silence as they headed for the bridge.
“What are you doing Ayel?”
“I am providing you with comfort.”
Nero stopped walking and faced his constant companion. Mandara charged him with Nero’s life. She made him promise that he would always take care of Nero and not allow him to suffer for anything. “She is not for my comfort Ayel. She is Federation.”
“She is beautiful and is like Mandara in many ways. I will not see your corpse walk these halls anymore my lord. It has been too long your time for mourning is over you must live again.”
Nero frowned. “Then I am no better than the Captain and the others who wanted her sex for just their satisfaction.”
“You are Nero. Your name alone makes you better than they will ever be. She does not know what desired by Nero means but you will show her. You will show us the face of the most powerful Romulan again and it will start with her and the comfort she will give you.”
There was silence between them as the two glared at each other. Nero suddenly turned away and continued down the hall with Ayel following.

“What the hell happened to him?” Harris looked over the bandages and braces covering Captain Nelson body with guarded concern. He knew that if the Captain died Admiral Henry’s life would be over. They both were sure the man had provisions for the release of the information on Admiral Henry in the event of his death. If the Admiral went down Harris knew he would soon follow his leader into prison. He was sure all the victims of their games would rise up from their graves to convict them. Captain Nelson kept track of all the women from his crew that never returned after spending time with the Admiral. Harris knew Nelson had sadistic tendencies just as the Admiral because he never stopped his female crewmembers from meeting with his commander. Although Harris never participated in Henry’s rituals, he did clean up the blood afterwards. Keeping Lawrence Nelson alive and happy was his top priority.
“Well it seems that he lost the fight with someone with a hell of a punch. His nose, jaw, and cheekbones are shattered. His ankle and thighs have deep bruises but they were the cause of his fall after the punch. He is lucky that his attacker only struck once or he would be dead right now.”
“Where is the woman he wanted what happened to her?” Harris turned and faced the two guards that brought Nelson to the doctor.
“We did not find her. Some of the guests here said they saw a man carrying her away but they do not know where he went. They said he was big.”
Harris turned back to the doctor. “Make sure he heals quickly. I have to speak with the Admiral.”

Captain Kirk paced in his cell stewing with anger. Not only had the Admiral placed him in jail indefinitely he had locked his ship not allowing them to leave without his permission. “I cannot believe he sided with Nelson or that he believed that it was an accident.”
“I cannot believe you tried to punch him…and missed.” Sulu said smiling from his cell across the way Spock’s cell was next to his.
Jim continued frowning. “There is something wrong here. Spock how long do you think it will take Scotty to repair the ship.”
The Vulcan looked at his leader with a raised eyebrow. “Without me there it is possible he could have the ship repaired in six days.”
Jim balled his fists. “We have to find a way to get out of here by then.”
The door to the cell chamber slid open and the conversation between the three ended. The tall Romulan guard named Theus walked inside. He moved towards Jim’s cell and looked at him.
“Captain Nelson was badly beaten shortly after Harris released him to go after your crewwoman. “
Spock moved to the front of his cell. “Nyota,”
Theus faced him. “She is well. The attack was not completed. Nelson suffered damage.”
“Where is she?” Jim shouted from across the way.
“She is safe that is all you need to know.”
“Nero is here isn’t he. Did he save her? ” Theus faced the Enterprise Captain with an annoyed expression.
“There is a traitor aboard your ship and he is feeding Nelson and the Admiral information about your communications to Starfleet. You cannot continue with him aboard. He will sabotage your ship so you will never leave here."
Jim reached between the bars of the cell and grabbed Theus’s uniform. “You have to help us how are we going to warn Scotty if we are in here.”
Theus pulled away from him. “I am just relaying a message.”
The Romulan turned and walked away amid the screaming from Sulu and Kirk.

The soft beeping from the door alerted Nyota that she had a visitor. She stopped her tour of the beautiful spacious suite and spoke in Romulan dialect to open the door.
“Nero," Her voice held a smile as she came around the corner to look at him.
His face held surprise rather than the usual hardness. “You speak our language.”
“All dialects,” She smiled up at him as she came closer. She noticed he was not wearing the duster just bottoms. Muscles and markings littered his body. Her breath caught in her throat but she tried her best not to let him see he rattled her with his appearance.
He noticed the white material she wore. It fit her curves and Nero wished it did not. It hugged her waist and brought attention to her abundant breasts and Nero averted his gaze from them. Her long and loose hair fell about her bare shoulders and back as she walked towards him. She was at ease here she had nothing to fear. Nero moved further into the room and Ayel walked inside.
“We have word about your Captain Kirk. The Admiral Henry placed them in temporary hold indefinitely. Our contact informed them about you and the traitor aboard your ship.”
Nyota walked towards Ayel. “What, how can he do that over a fight?”
“As we said Nelson has free reign here.”
She turned to Nero. “I have to go back and warn Scotty.”
“Your safety is our top priority. We cannot allow you to go. They are looking for you and if they have you we are sure Nelson will leave here.” Ayel looked at Nero who silently looked down at the female standing before him.
“Can you warn him?”
Ayel waited for an answer. His lord continued to stare down at the female with no emotion. A simple motion with his hand sent Ayel from the room. Nyota made a move to follow him but Nero reached out his arm, wrapped it around her waist, and pulled her back to her original position before him.
She stared up at him feeling the muscles in his arm constricting although it did not take that much force to stop her. He was fighting something.
He moved closer to her and lowered his lips to her ear. “Fear not we will warn your ship.”
Nyota nodded and raised her head inadvertently rubbing her cheek against his. Nero felt the force inside his body strengthen with the potential of mating with this female. He closed his eyes and lowered his voice. “Do you trust me?”
He felt her body tremble as his arm tightened around her waist. She smelled of softness and strength. Nero moved closer before moving away from away from her to look into her eyes. The dark brown pools held hidden emotions within them.
“I trust you.”
Nero’s arm slowly moved from her body as he backed away from her watching her watching him leave. He turned and walked out of the door.

He listened to her talk about the weather on Fada many times and it always made his head fall into his hands especially when she wished he were there to enjoy it with her. She rattled on about the Vulcans that lived next door to her and their constant invading of her personal space. They were always concerned about the baby and made daily trips to get her out for exercise and food. She wanted to name the baby after them.
Nero looked up at the hologram as it blurred as it always did when he watched it. There was nothing wrong with the machine.
Mandara continued speaking about the others, she met, and that she invited them to dinner on the ship when he returned to her. She placed her hands on her bulging belly and smiled at him. “I love you Nero.”
Nero lowered his head again. It was always at this point that he would turn off the hologram but this time he stayed his hand.
Her soft voice filled his room again. “Goodbye my love,”
Nero raised his head again and stared through blurring vision at the screen and he slowly opened his mouth to speak.
“Goodbye,”
