Curiosity Killed The Cat.

With that she turned around and walked out. She walked away from the club and forgot that she had driven there. She sat down on a wall and took off her shoes. Suddenly, she smelt something rancid. Oh God, what the Hell was it? She looked around. She knew she shouldn’t go looking but curiosity got the better of her. “Yeah and curiosity killed the cat” said a little voice from inside. “Yeah well a cat has nine lives” she muttered back.

She followed the smell. Jesus. It was awful. Rotting meat. Why the Hell was she doing this? This could only lead to trouble. But her heart ruled her head and when she had her mind set on something, there was no stopping her!

She stopped and looked around. She had no clue where the fuck she was.

She was near what looked to be an abandoned block of apartments. She noticed the fire escape. Something was hanging. She wondered over. She could just make out what it was under the dimly lit lamp-post. “Oh my fucking God!!!!!!!!” she cried. It was a human!

This human had been skinned. He was hanging upside down. She knew it was a ‘He’ because his wallet was on the floor. She looked at his name. Gavin Roberts. Shit! He had been on the news last week wanted in connection with a missing girl. Some fucker had given him his comeuppance if it had have been him who had kidnapped her.

Then she heard something. That clicking again. She was scared as Hell. What the fuck has possessed her to walk into unknown territory. She should have just gone back to her car and gone home. Then she heard a… “ROOOOOOOOOOOAR!!” ….”Oh fuck” she thought. She looked around not daring to blink. She saw something.. something HUGE. Like an out-line of a shadow. It was hard to tell in the dark with just the one lamp-post. It wasn’t even a full moon which was quite ironic as didn’t they say monsters appear on a full moon? Hunters moon? Or was it wolves? Fuck knows. All she knew was that she had to get the fuck out of there!
