Back on the ship
She woke up in her bedroom, on her ship, alone. She knew he was busy in the cockpit, she could feel him there.
Confusion, irritation, anger, and all sorts of other feelings rolled off him, strong enough it almost made her dizzy. She had been washed before being laid in the bed so as she sat up, she could see the bruises on her legs, as well as the cuts on her arms that had begun to heal.
Slowly she stood, wrapping the sheet around her as she staggered to the door. Her legs were working, but barely strong enough to hold her up.
Leaning against the door frame, she looked down towards the dining hall. Laying under the table were the hellhounds, their heads raising slightly as they saw her. Misty’s ear was nicked and scabbed, but looked okay otherwise. Scar lay with her, his head resting on the back of her neck as they settled back in.
She let go of the doorframe and slowly made her way to the cockpit, leaning against the wall as she walked. She stood there silently, her shoulder pressed against the door frame, watching him as he looked out the cockpit window. She was weak, and while she knew she had done something significant, she had little memory of what really had gone on. Quite frankly, she didn’t like that.
He turned his head toward her, and they looked at each other for a long moment before Kylie took a step forward, her feet tangling in the long sheet. She started to fall, but he moved quickly, catching her before she had gotten even halfway to the floor.
Carefully he carried her to a seat, and set her in it. She adjusted the sheet back around her shoulders.
“You shouldn’t be up. You can barely walk.”
“I’m okay, just a little tired.” She smiled at him a little. “You don’t have to worry about me.”
“I’m not.”
She just shrugged a little. “Then why are you here?”
He didn’t speak, and she moved her free hand to the side of his face. She stopped short of touching him, letting her hand drop back to her lap.
“I told you that you shouldn’t have come. You came anyway.” She spoke softly, to herself, then looked up at him.
She managed to stand, letting the sheet fall around her feet as she put her arms around his neck and kissed him.
She was startled when he pulled away from her, walking out into the hall. She followed him.
“Riddick…what did I do?” She looked at him, her eyes drawn together in a worried frown.
He turned and looked at her, eyes on her face. “What?”
“Did I hurt you? I know I killed him, it’s fuzzy, but I am certain of that much. But did I do something to you?”
He looked at her, and just shook his head. He started walking again, stopping between the door to the dining hall and the door to the bedroom. Again she followed him.
“Then why won’t you even look at me.” She slipped between him and the wall, physically taking his hands and placing them on her breasts, wanting some sort of reaction from him. The one she got wasn’t what she expected.
He yanked his hands away from her, turning his back on her again.
“Damnit Riddick, what the hell did I do to deserve this?” With a growl, she pushed herself in front of him again.
He stood there silently, eyes anywhere but on her.
”Don’t walk away from me!” Kylie stood in front of him, arms crossed over her chest. When he tried to walk around her, she shifted her weight to block him.
They stood there for a long moment, then Kylie growled in frustration, fighting back the urge to slap this stubborn man and walked away, letting him go.
A few hours later, Kylie stood from the chair she had seated herself on in the dining hall, a smile on her lips. She still hadn’t gotten dressed, but the warmth of the ship really hadn’t made it necessary. She also wanted to give herself time to calm down, so just staying at the opposite end of the ship was a better solution in her eyes.
The ship was quiet when she walked towards the cockpit, the lights as low as they could possibly go and still be on. She wasn’t surprised when she found the cockpit lights off, the only illumination coming from the blinking dials and dim glow of the instruments.
Sitting with his feet up on the passenger seat, eyes closed, Riddick was asleep in the pilot’s chair. He was shirtless, a damp towel hanging on the back of the seat where his feet rested.
Kylie stood in the door way, a shoulder leaned against the metal frame, just looking at him. He looked peaceful, and as much as she wanted to take in the sight forever, she knew that he would wake up if she continued to stare, his senses were too strong for him to ignore that.
She slipped closer, eyes purposefully on the floor, she knelt on the floor beside his legs. Hesitantly, she looked up, into liquid silver eyes.
“Sorry….I didn’t meant to wake you.”
“Wasn’t asleep.”
“Suppose I’m not surprised.”
With a slight smirk, and before he could act, she sat on his legs, looking him in the face. He could easily move her if he wanted to, but for the moment, she had him trapped.
“I don’t know what I did, and I really do not care right now.” She slipped her arms around his neck, and leaned in close, her lips just barely brushing his as she spoke. “But you’re right about one thing. I am yours…”
Her lips pressed against his, his hands rising and wrapping around her waist. He didn’t pull away from her this time, he pressed into her, the kiss becoming insistent, a soft growl of pleasure coming from both of their throats.
His hands trailed down her back, coming to rest on her butt, lifting her up. He stood slowly, holding her with her legs wrapped around his waist. He didn’t need to look, he knew the ship well enough, so his short walk to the bedroom was quick, the kiss never breaking.
He set her on the edge of the bed, his lips moving from hers down her neck, teeth nipping occasionally, his hands roaming over her, squeezing her breasts.
She slid her hands down his stomach, nails dragging over his skin. Her hands made short work of his button, sliding his pants down around his knees as he stood, pressing her further onto the bed. He kicked the clothes off his ankles as he climbed up after her, growling possessively as he kissed her again.
She gasped in pleasure as his teeth ran down over her neck and shoulders, hands holding hers over her head. He traced his tongue over each of her nipples, teeth just lightly grazing them.
With a soft growl, Kylie pushed him off of her, onto his back. She smiled teasingly at him, leaning over his chest, her hair tickling his skin as she slid down his body. He groaned as she took him into her mouth, relishing the feelings that flooded through him.
She smirked around him, teasing him with her tongue and teeth before climbing back up his body, kissing him hungrily as she lowered herself onto him. Slowly she took him into her, his hands grasping her hips as she moved against him.
With a sudden movement, he had her on her back, her legs wrapped around him as they moved against each other. He thrust into harder, teeth nipping her shoulders as she panted and moaned his name into his ear. Her nails left shallow grooves in his back as she arched, crying out her pleasure. He gave a satisfied smirk before he let himself go, burying into her as he found his own release.
As he settled in beside her, body curled possessively around her, he marked her neck, and as she accepted it, their shared marks glowing, he growled into her ear. “Mine.”
They slid into sleep together, and woke up the same.
