Dashed chance

Disclaimer: See previous chapters, I’m too busy with my look a like to write it.

“I’m coming!” She replied.
It had been a month and a half since he had brought her here, and helped her. She was finally looking like a normal girl. She wasn’t as gaunt as before, and had forgotten about what she had seen. She would go about with Elizabeth to shop for things. It was wonderful. The woman understood her. There was still the air of question about her. She often caught Will and Elizabeth staring at her with the oddest of looks. She sat at the dinner table, with a smile. Will and Elizabeth were next to her. Will was looking for something in her eyes, but apparently did not find it, like usual.
After they were finished, Will and Elizabeth were called away by her father. The night came fast, carried on the wings of a great storm. The wind started to blow, and it began to rain. Calypso was watching the storm build, feeling something in her heart. It was a pressure building. There was foreboding in the howling wind. Calypso shivered, and then decided to shut her windows and get some sleep. The thunder pounded with the rain, creating a kind of lullaby. She was asleep in moments.
She didn’t know what woke her. It was not the dream, one she hadn’t had in a long time. For it hadn’t gotten to the point where it would have awakened her. Lightning flashed in her room, making shadows jump out. Something was wrong, and rather eerie about the room. She stood, noticing a smell. Putting on her robe, she went to light something. She brought the match to the wick, it caught and a soft glow filled the room. She looked up at her mirror, smiling for a moment. Then she noticed the face.
“Evenen’ my dear.” The gruff face said. She turned screaming. She heard cannon fire.
“Miss! We’re under attack!” The maid shouted. Calypso screamed again, and was gagged by another.
“You’ll be comin with us dearie.” The first one said.
“Poppet.” The other said, she kicked the one in front of her, she recognized him.
“You be nice dearie.” He said, and then hit her. She sagged, stunned from the blow.
They dragged her out of the house; she struggled when she could, but not too well. She was dazed. The maids were shrieking and running around. She prayed that the house would not be destroyed. She heard Will and Elizabeth.
“Will! Will help me!” She shouted, and she was cuffed again.
This time her world went black. When she awoke on a bed, her head hurt. She didn’t remember what happened until she heard a laugh. It was one of triumph. She moved to sit up.
“I wouldn’t be doin that dear. You took a heavy blow to the head.” He said.
“Go to hell Barbosa!” She growled.
“That be no way to talk to yer host girl. From what I hear tell, you got some sort of seein ability. Don’ know why he wants ya, but I know that you be doin some good here. Nice leverage. Make yourself at home, you’ll be stayin here a while.” He said standing.
“Where am I pirate?” Calypso hissed.
“You be aboard the Aenir's Shade.” He said, and was gone.
Calypso was beyond angry. She was furious. She couldn’t believe that she had forgotten the dream she had had of this man. It would have warned her, and she could have prepared herself to get away from him. As it was, she had nothing to use against him, and realized it probably would have done her no good anyway. From what she could glean from the images she saw in her memory, these guys didn’t die. There was one thing that did confuse her, in the vision, this Barbosa had fallen, blood had issued from a bullet wound in his chest, and there was a feeling of finality from the one she had touched. She had felt hatred, and fear. And love, that was the last feeling when he was watching the other two. He had killed Barbosa, after breaking a spell of sorts.
“What on earth is he doing back?” She asked herself.
“We were brought back by a witch. Our mission be a mystery still, but we were told we could take you to get our revenge on one who has plagued us for over ten years.” A pirate said.
“And who would that be sir?” Calypso asked.
“Captain Jack Sparrow love. We don’ ask Cap’n Barbosa, we follow orders. This feud be runnin deeper than the curse. And tha be not ours, but of that witch.” The pirate said.
“Hmm, that’s interesting.” Calypso said.
