The only character I own is Yuri and Sakura. If you even think about taking them, you will have my scepter in your mouth and down your throat before you can blink your eyes three times fast *cute grin*

4) Truth
Sakura stopped in the middle of her pacing when she heard the doorknob turn. As the door slowly creaked open, she stopped in front of the bed and quickly whirled around to see one of the Skeksi in the doorway. It was SkekUng, the former general and current emperor. When the door was completly opened he looked at Sakura as his large frame filled the doorway, a silent affirmation that there was no chance for her to escape. As if she wanted to though, for the moment he looked at she felt her body freeze up with fear as her breath hitched slightly in her throat. SkekUng smiled at the beautiful sight before him as he entered the room and closed the door behind himself. Yet it was only when he got closer to her that he saw the fear in her eyes.
"There is no need to be afraid," he said as gently as his voice would allow. Even so, these words took away just enough of her fear to allow her to breath yet she kept her guard up as she silently swallowed once. At the same time, SkekUng closed the distance between them and stopped just shy of three feet from her so as to get a closer look at her.
"You look lovely," he said, which caught her off guard.
"Th...thank you," Sakura said with a light blush as she adverted her eyes from his momentarily as he merely smirked at this. She soon regained her courage though and looked up at him with such a feirce look that gave the Emperor cause for surprise.
"Tell me, what is my purpose for being here?" she demanded.
"Huh?" SkekUng asked, obviously confused yet surprise by her boldness before him.
"Am I to become like the one who led me and left me here? Am I to become a soulless servant like he has become? And why such the attention to my chossing when none was paid to all the others?" Sakura demanded as she didn't lose the edge in her voice for a single moment. SkekUng smiled at this, almost as if he was beaming in pride and this made Sakura raise an eyebrow of concern.
"You are not going to have your essence drained and you are not going to become a mere servant in this castle," he said reasuringly after a moment's silence.
"Then why...?"
"To be with me," SkekUng interupted, his words caught Sakura off guard.
"Eh?" Sakura asked, surprised and confussed at the same time.
"Sakura," he said, surprising her once more, "I chosse you out of all the others to be my wife."
"What!?" Sakura gasped and tried to take a step back only to bump into the bed. She gasped as her legs collided with the bed and her center of gravity was spoiled enough to make her fall back and sit on the bed. Her ass made contact with the matress and she bounced lightly two maybe three times before her weight settled. Once she stopped moving, Sakura looked up and was surprised to see SkekUng was right in front of her then.
"Wife?!" she exclaimed.
"Yes," SkekUng said as he reached out his hands and claimed her face with them.
"You'll be safe under my protection and you'll see things run as you see fit."
Sakura stared at him as she could feel his hands and claws upon her skin. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, especially after all that she had been told about the SkekSi...then again, she had been proven wrong once before when she spent most of the night just talking with Chamberlain who had shown a simialr interest in her. Even so, she still felt dazed and confussed.
"Why me?" Sakura finally asked after a moment's silence. SkekUng was caught off guard by this question but he was still quick to answer it.
"Because, I love you. I have always loved you since the moment I first saw you as a child with the first Chossen One we watched during the Tribute."
Sakura gasped lightly in surprise upon hearing this, "You've been watching me ever since then?"
"Yes, I watched you grow from a beautiful child and into a beautiful woman as I waited for the day when you could finally be brought to the castle."
"Finally?" Sakura asked.
"Yes. Due to the agreement, we never take children from the village so we can only take adults. Even so, I found the loophole that would make you mine. I chosse you and waited for you to come of age. That protected you from being chossen by the others and from any attacks outside of the village."
"Huh?" Skaura asked, not completely sure of what he was talking about. SkekUng let out a sigh as he moved his hands from her face to her shoulders.
"Each new moon, we take turns chossing who will be the next Tribute. When I chosse you, I gave up all my right to chosse anyone else...which made the others happy," he said.
'Especially that simpering Chamberlain,' he thought as he tried to not sneer in front of the one human female he ever loved. With this new information, Sakura was finally able to peice everything together now. Why she had never been in the Tribute before...why she was always safe out in the woods...why she finally chossen...why she was paid special attention to...
"Then..." Sakura started as she looked down at the white garments that clothed her delicate skin, "...this outfit is..."
"Your wedding robes," SkekUng said affectionatly as he took this moment to admire her once more, even as these words caused the young woman in his grasp to go pale before him.
"Sakura," SkekUng said, his voice caused her to look back up at him as as he could see her face and stare into her eyes once again.
"Stay with me, be with me and only me...please," SkekUng said, the last word he uttered though felt quite unnatural on his tounge. Sakura stared up at him as she weighed the options in her mind and finally came to a decision.
"I'll...stay," Sakura said quite hesitantly and in a quite tone.
"Huh?" SkekUng asked as he couldn't hear what she said.
"I'll stay," Sakura said after she swallowed the knot in her throat and summoned enough courage to speak up loud enough to be heard...
