AFF THREE
An alternative future
Obi-wan and the others could sense Anakin’s rage coming off him in waves all the way through the journey from Coruscant to Naboo. Obi-wan hadn’t felt such anger being emitted from his husband since Padme had died almost twenty years ago.
No one dared mention Darth Sidious whilst Anakin looked like he could take out a whole clone army just on his own.
Obi-wan said “Ani I contacted Jar Jar after we left the landing platform. He is expecting us and has informed me that he will try informing Leia of our situation without the knowledge of the trade federation if possible.”
Anakin nodded “good the longer they are unaware of our arrival and our intentions the better for us. It shall give us a chance to get an update on the current situation so far from Leia’s security. I believe her head of security is Captain Han Solo.”
Obi-wan asked “and what do you know of Captain Han Solo?” Anakin replied “he is well respected in his profession. He is a man who can hold his own and knows how to do his job. He was in fact so I’ve been informed trained by captain Typho. He was the former head of Padme’s security.”
Luke commented “I don’t care how good he is supposed to be, or whom trained him. All I know is that we individually can’t take on a whole clone army, who’s to say he can? You heard what Master Windu said; he told us the trade federation had at least a hundred clone soldiers guarding the palace.”
Sirius added “we’re keepers of the peace not soldiers. We have to participate in activities of a soldier. I for one am sick to the bone of this blasted clone war, this war as been raging on for the last twenty seven years almost. Luke and I grew up surrounded in the affects of the war. We haven’t seen or known anything different.”
Anakin and Obi-wan sighed knowing they were right. Anakin especially knew this was not going to be at all easy or pleasant, not that any other mission in the past had been pleasant, but this mission in question already promise to be one hell of a nightmare.
Obi-wan feared his husband would not be able to control him self. Sidious was after all repeating his plan of action to take over Naboo, a plan of action he had once tried to use against Padme. And now he was using a very similar plan against Leia. It was if he was repeating past events through Leia.
Anakin and Padme hadn’t been that close back when they first met even doe the attraction had been discovered between the two and had ignited for the first time.
Only this would be worse and more personal for Anakin then had been for a nine year old Anakin. This time Sidious was attacking their daughter, his Anakin’s and Padme’s daughter.
Sidious had picked the wrong Jedi to piss off and try to corrupt. Anakin would not let him live. Anakin had been biding his time over the last twenty years just like Sidious had.
But unfortunately for the sith lord, Anakin’s anger and determination had escalated to incredibly lethal highs. Anakin was ready to strike out viciously. It was only a matter of time before they met in the final showdown.
An hour later Anakin landed the ship on the landing platform. He immediately discovered Naboo had not changed one bit since he was last here. That being when he and Padme had married.
Naboo was still just as beautiful and peaceful looking regardless of the fact the planet was currently under an attack from Sidious’s forces.
Anakin and the others were anxious to get to the palace and deal with the trade federation and secure Leia.
