Temptation Away

The surgery was long and grueling. At first, Luke had watched, his forehead up against the glass, fascinated... but as it wore on, it became more and more gruesome, as they began to attach the newly formed skin and organs into his father's core. He had started to feel faint, perhaps in part from the intensity of the red room, and so the Kaminoans had allowed him to roam freely through their sterile halls for a while.

All the time that Luke had to himself in the halls provided him with a great opportunity to think, free from the influences of the Jedi spirits, or the sight of his father's reconstructing body. He mused to himself that he had no idea why he was so enthralled with Vader all of a sudden, and returned to feeling great discontent for his situation. He scowled and brooded, wandering through the labyrinthine medical facility. He wondered if Vader had done something to him, his mind, but all he could return to was that dream, the imaginary hands he'd felt in his sleep before he'd ever felt them on his flesh. He did lust for his father, and what of it? He had no idea, but was unnerved by it anyway.

He found a bench to sit down on to think for a while, away from his father's operating room, and began to examine his options. If he tried to escape, an option that seemed impossible as he had no idea of the layout of the place or what their ships would resemble, Vader would no doubt track him down as he had before. A rebellious strain inside him shivered at the idea of the kind of punishment he might get for running away, and he panicked, disturbed he'd even entertain the notion... He didn't want to be having submissive little sick fantasies about his father. There was just something about Anakin... in any case, his other options were limited. He could stay on and see what happened, what his father would become with human body parts, whether they would humanize him... or whether he should kill Vader in his prone state and be done with it.

No, killing him was not the answer. Luke did not need Ben or the other Jedi to tell him that. Only Vader, Anakin, was strong enough to kill Emperor Palpatine. Which meant that he needed to be kept alive and allowed to defeat him. Maybe Vader could be reasoned with, once he was no longer machine... Luke felt he was the one who would have to do it. With no other option, he would have to stay on and convince Vader to rule justly when he had disposed of Palpatine. Even though escape was tempting...

Luke mulled the possibilities over in his mind for some time, and was so deep in thought that the opening of a nearby door jolted him to awareness. Instinctively, he reached for the lightsaber at his hip, or rather, the lightsaber that should have been at his hip, as the figure that walked through the door, wet from the outside rains became familiar. The Mandalorian armor was unmistakable, as was the poise and bearing of the wearer. At first, the bounty hunter disregarded Luke, walking into the Kamino complex and shaking off the rain, and removed his helmet, shaking his short, curly black hair out and taking a deep breath, followed by a soft sigh. The bounty hunter had a surprisingly pleasing face, soft features... it surprised Luke that a man who was so famous for being so cruel was so human looking.

Before Fett had a chance to notice Luke, a Kaminoan came down the hallway, smiling, and took Fett in her arms, gently.

"Welcome home, Boba." The Kaminoan purred a little and stroked his hair, motherly.

"Thank you... I am glad to be back."

Then his eyes strayed over her shoulder to notice the young apprentice Jedi on the bench, watching them.

"Taun, what is he doing here?"

"The boy is here with Lord Vader. He is his son."

Luke stood, again defiant. He remembered now that the bounty hunter Boba Fett had been in Cloud City. He'd been responsible for taking Han Solo to Jabba the Hutt. He had no idea what had happened to Leia and Chewie, but as far as he knew, Fett had captured all of them... he wanted to fight him, but calmed himself... he had no weapon and it was not to his advantage to engage the bounty hunter in full armor with his arsenal.

Fett disentangled himself from his adopted mother's arms and stalked towards Luke, looking him over. He smirked softly, his eyes defiant.

"Well, well... you're the last person I would have expected to see here..."

"What have you done with my friends?" Luke's eyes burned and he glared.

Boba Fett laughed softly and looked back at his Kaminoan friend. "Taun, will you leave us? I have matters to discuss with this one."

She nodded, and walked away, patting Luke on the shoulder as she passed.

Fett turned to punch in a code sequence in a nearby door, and gestured to Luke. "Why don't you come inside with me? I'm sure we have lots to talk about."

The door slid open and Fett walked inside, and Luke didn't know what to do besides follow him inside the apartment that was in the Kamino complex. The room was sparse, all metal and lacquer, and Fett poured two glasses of some amber colored liquid out of a bottle that he'd taken out of a cupboard. Beside the cups, his helmet stared blankly at Luke, watching him enter and examine the room. Fett pressed the glass into Luke's hand, and Luke accepted it, watching him warily and not drinking yet.

"You didn't answer my question."

"I set them free. I don't know what happened to them."

Luke frowned softly at him, and asked, "How should I believe that? There was a bounty on Han, from the Hutts." However, he sort of had a feeling... something wasn't so simple.

Fett laughed, and took a long swallow from his glass before beginning to undo his armor. He smirked at him again as he stripped the gauntlets and breastplate off, leaving them on the table, and followed them with his blaster and its belt holster. He was certainly taking his time about explaining to Luke, but then he turned, his khaki shirt falling open from the absence of the armor. "Vader paid me off... what he paid me was far more than the Hutts could have afforded." He laughed softly, eyeing Luke. "He knew you'd just go running off to save him if they were captured... and the last thing he wanted was for you to leave him." Fett's eyes roamed over Luke's body, and his face betrayed how much he liked what he saw. "Vader's son... and a jedi, too. You're quite the specimen, you know. I bet you're powerful..."

"What are you talking about?" Luke took a step back and set the drink down, untouched.

Fett considered for a moment, staring, before advancing to stand much closer to Luke, reaching out to press the door close button, removing Luke's option for easy exit. He murmured, tempting, "You know... I could use a partner... and a Jedi would be the best I could hope for... I'd be very good to you..." A strong hand stroked his hip, and the bounty hunter slipped a thigh between Luke's legs to pin him to the wall. He tried to kiss his neck, but Luke squirmed out of his way, and used the force to summon his blaster off of the table. He held it at Fett's chest, scowling firmly.

"Leave me alone." Luke didn't find Fett's suggestion of forceful lovemaking at all arousing, not even remotely the way that he found his father's offer of the same thing to be erotic. In a way, he was glad to make that distinction, to realize that he hadn't turned into a submissive puppet, but instead he had some feeling specific to his father... Fett recognized the seriousness in Luke's voice, and stepped back.

"I meant no disrespect. I thought only..." Fett was a little sheepish, but generally unapologetic. "I thought you might be grateful for my sparing of your friends." And smirked, "And that a friend of Han's would be interested in a little fun." Luke wasn't sure he wanted to think too hard about what Fett was implying.

"I could take you away from here, you know. Reunite you with your friends..."

Luke was tempted. He had considered escape but deemed it impossible... but now that it seemed like an option... he would only have to sleep with Fett to obtain his freedom, and the man was attractive... it certainly was an option. He did have to think about it for a few minutes.

"Take all the time you need to answer that question, kid." Fett smirked and patted Luke on the shoulder, taking his blaster out of his hands. "I'll be here for a while, you know where to find me." He opened the door again and expected Luke to leave, walking over to the table and continuing to remove his armor.

Luke mumbled a thanks, and walked out, thinking over what he had said.

The operation was much farther along by the time Luke returned to his suite, and Vader had begun to look like a man again. His body had been constructed, his limbs added back on and his torso had begun to take flesh again. His muscles had been constructed to be strong and firm, those of a middle aged man at his physical peak. His skin was a shade darker than Luke's, and his body hair had not begun to grow, so it was simply smooth, flawless skin. His face, too, had been finished- his exceptional cheekbones, full lips, and sharp eyes had been restored, and some of his hair had begun to grow back on his head, in a rich brown. The Kaminoans were finishing the surgery on his genitalia, clearly adding fully functioning parts. Luke was perhaps not curious enough to look too closely at the surgery there, but the naked, powerful body of his father beginning to look ready for action caused a stirring in his own body... he blushed and turned away. Even the promise of sex with Fett, a dangerous man that wasn't his father, hadn't elicited a reaction anything like this in the young Jedi.

Luke knew what he wanted, and it wasn't escaping with Boba Fett. It was to stay and be with his father. That was what the Force was telling him. He sat down to watch the remainder of the surgery, to wait for his father to be strong and virile for him.

AN: I guess.. I wanted to get writing this again. I'm not sure what to do with the Jedi that keep talking to Luke, what they'd think of all this... but I had meant to put in Boba Fett, and this is what happened with him... I really just don't want Luke to become a submissive little creature like other Luke/Vader fics make him into. So whether or not I figure that part out, Vader should awaken next chapter.

Oh, and sorry for the hiatus.
