Not Knowing No

A/N: I don't any one but Kevin, Serenity and Skyler and any other character that comes along that you don't know. If I owned the guys they would never leave my house. He He anyways enjoy and review thanks. Also don't be fraid to hate it. I know not everyone will like it.




“You are nothing but trash girl. That was all you were before you found me. That’s what you will always be.” Skyler said before he slapped her across the face.

Serenity moved backwards and put her hands up over her face. “Please Skyler I won’t mess up again. I swear.”

“That’s what you always say. I’ll do better. I haven’t cheated on you. Your friends shouldn’t hit me like that. You are a fuck up. That’s what you are. That’s why you father didn’t want you. You are more trouble then you are worth.” Skyler said before he grabbed her hair and pulled her onto her feet.

Serenity whimpered in pain and looked down at her feet. “I am worthless.”

“That’s the good girl. Knowing your place.” He hissed in her ear.

Skyler punched her in the jaw and she saw nothing but red as she landed on the floor in a heap. Serenity sat up screaming and the guys looked at her. She tried to move but they had tied her to the bed.

“Well it looks like she is awake.” Jesse said as he looked down at her.

Serenity turned her face away from them all and lay back down. She didn’t want to see them. Not after everything that they did. She just looked at the wall and hoped that they would leave her alone. So they even know what they had done? “Jesse untie her hands.” Dom said to him.

“You do it. I don’t want to get hit.” Jesse said to him.

“Don’t you think we should leave her tied up for a little bit?” Vince asked them.

“NO!” Mia said to them as she untied her hands.

Serenity slid over to her and placed her head in her lap. “I am sorry mom I should have been a boy. I should have been the one that daddy loved.”

Mia stroked her cheek and looked at them. “GET THE FUCK OUT!”

Everyone went to leave but Dom put his hands up and shook his head. “Not until we know what the hell that was all about.”

“Does she look like she is will be able to talk? You drugged her with a lot of drugged. You should be happy that you didn’t kill her. Now get the fuck out Dom. I mean it.” Mia said as her eyes flashed at her brother.

They all left and Mia laid down next to her. “I am sorry serenity I am so sorry.”

Serenity just closed her eyes and felt the tears as they rolled down her face. These guys did something that Skyler thought he had did. They had finally broke her. She felt it in her soul. No more laughter or smiles. Just the tears and the rivers that formed from them. She was gone and they didn’t even know it yet. Mia kept running her hands through her hair as they laid there looking at nothing.

Dom and Vince were in the kitchen when Mia walked down with Serenity slowly trailing behind her. Mia marched over to him pulling her along and stood in front of him. Then she pulled Serenity in front of her and forced her to look into Dom’s eyes. “There you happy? She will never run again. Your broke her. You did the one thing that she fought against with Skyler. You broke her soul. You should be happy about that.”

Dom just stared up into the dead eyes that were staring down at his. He felt like he was looking into a tar pit. No emotion. No fire. Just blank dead eyes. Before he could say anything Mia pulled Serenity away from him and sat her down at the other end of the table. Then she got a glass of tea and handed it to her. “Drink this sweetie.”

Vince looked over and watched as Serenity put the glass to her lips and slowly sipped. She looked like a caged lion that was captured in the wild and realized he would never see it again. She looked like she was just going through the motion. Nothing more or less. “I called the school and told them that she would be taking a three month leave. Said that she was deathly ill and wouldn’t be able to talk for a while. So you don’t have to worry about anything. She is here to stay.”

Dom still didn’t say anything. All he could do was stare at the place where Serenity had been standing looking down at him. He broke her. He did the one the thing that he was fighting to stop. How could he not see it? He just didn’t know what to say or do. All he knew that what happened couldn’t be changed. Vince looked at him when he stood and walked out of the house. Then he looked back at Mia and she saw the pain in his eyes. “He didn’t mean for this to happen. He would never do something like this on purpose.”

“I know but he just doesn’t know when to give up.” Mia said as she fixed Serenity a sandwich.

“I’ll make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid.” Vince said as he stood up.

“Vince at this moment I really don’t care if he does anything stupid. Nothing he does will be stupider then this.” Mia said as she placed the sandwich in front of Serenity.

Vince nodded and left the house after Dom. He knew that he would be in the garage. But he didn’t know what he could say to make him feel better. They all had a hand in doing this. All of them but Mia. She was trying to tell them to just let her go. But they just couldn’t. They just had to help weather she liked it or not. Vince couldn’t help but hurt for her. She was a sweet girl and she messed up. But now they might not ever see her smile again. That tore at him and he couldn’t help but shake at the thought of never seeing her smile again.

“You’re worthless. Don’t you ever forget that. Without me you will always be worthless.” Skyler whispered down to her.

“I am worthless without you Skyler.” She whispered back to him.

Skyler nodded and bent down and picked her up. Then he carried her to the bed and softly placed her in it. “Don’t forget to have supper fixed at 8 tonight. The boys are coming over.” He said before he left the room.

She had looked at the clock and saw that it was 4 in the afternoon. She had time to sleep and then to cook supper. She felt her eyes closing and knew that sleep would take over. She just wanted to escape from her life. That was when the idea of killing herself first came to her. But now she didn’t know what to do.

Mai saw the tears that slipped down her cheek and wiped them slowly away. She couldn’t believe that Serenity had just given up like that. She didn’t know that they were doing this to help. She couldn’t understand why they had wanted to help. She never knew what it was like to have help. No wonder she ran. She had ever right to be scared of them all including her. Mia thought about telling Dom what Serenity had told her but she couldn’t face him right now. So she decided that she would write it down and leave it on his pillow. She knew that he needed to know what he would be dealing with when Skyler came back for her.

Serenity just sat and stared out of the window not seeing anything. All she could see was Skyler hitting her over and over. But now she didn’t feel the pain. She couldn’t feel anything. She knew that there was something wrong with that but now she really didn’t care. Because all she heard in her mind was you’re worthless, nothing with out me, don’t forget that Serenity. “I am worthless without you Skyler.” She spoke to no one and everyone that could hear.

Mia looked at her in horror and watched as she stood and walked out of the kitchen. Serenity walked up to the stairs and into Mia’s room. She lay on the bed and closed her eyes. All she wanted to do was get away from everything and everyone that she had ever known. Mia didn’t know what to do she just looked at the chair that Serenity had been sitting in seconds before thinking bout what she had said. “You aren’t worthless Serenity and I will do everything I can to prove it to you.”

Brian came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. “We did the wrong thing didn’t we?”

“No I don’t think we did. I think that this would have happened even if it wasn’t with us. She is so far gone Brian and I know that we have to get her back.” Mia said as she looked up at him.

“I don’t want you around here anymore Serenity. You are going to live with your grandmother. She is willing to take you in. You are worthless to us. Maybe she can show you the love that we can’t.” Her father said looking down at her.

Serenity looked down at her feet and nodded. “I am sorry that I couldn’t make you or mom proud.” She said before she grabbed her bags and walked away.

Her father watched her and for the first time in his life he actually felt like he was losing something great but he pushed it away. She had to go. She had to leave his home. Serenity turned once and saw her father looking at her but as she watched he turned and walked into the house. “I am worthless.”

“That’s right Serenity you are worthless without me.” Skyler’s voice said in her mind.

Serenity looked out the window as Dom entered the room. “Serenity I wish you would look at me.”

Serenity didn’t say anything or even acknowledge that he was in the room. She just sat there string out the window. “Talk to me Serenity.”

Serenity just sat there and it scared him. She just sat there on the bed looking out the window. “I use to think that people could change. I use to think that they would see my worth and want to know me. But now I realize that there was no worth to see. For I am worthless and will always be.”

“You aren’t worthless.” Dom said as he sat down beside her.

Serenity didn’t say anything. She just sat there as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his lap. He is lying Serenity he just building you up for another fall. You know the truth. You know your worth. Don’t allow him to build you up for another fall. Serenity shook her head and looked out the window she was at war and they couldn’t help her now. No matter how much they wanted to she was on her own. Dom just sat there running his fingers through her hair and rocking her. He didn’t know what else to do. He had no experience at this. He was use to having a girl know how great she was. She isn’t that girl and he was beginning to wonder why he cared so much.

“Don’t ever allow a man tell you that you are worthless sweetie. Your father is the one that is worthless. If he couldn’t see how amazing you are it isn’t your fault. It is his.” Her grandmother whispered in her ear as they rode from Texas to Florida.

“Why does he hate me so much Na Na? What did I do to make him hate me?” She asked her grandmother.

“Nothing. You were a god’s gift that he couldn’t understand. That is all. Now put them out of your mind. You don’t need to worry about them any longer. You are coming to your new home.” She said as she smiled down to her.

“LIES SERENITY SHE LIED TO YOU AND YOU KNOW IT! SHE LIED TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER. THAT IS WHAT GRANDPARENTS DO!” Skyler’s voice said as it cut through the happy thought.

“My grand daughter isn’t worthless. She is an amazing girl that you wanted to break. You were the one that wouldn’t know what to do without her.” Her grandmother’s voice said.

Dom looked down in her eyes and saw the fire was there but then it was gone. He watched as it came and went not knowing what was happening in her mind. All he knew was she was fighting and if she could fight then they would fight for her too. He smiled and nodded. They were going to fight with her.

Mia was walking up the stairs when Dom walked out of the room with Serenity in his eyes. “We aren’t giving up on her Mia. We can’t give up on her. She is fighting. She is fighting to some back to life so we need to fight for her too.”

Mia looked up at him and nodded. They had to help her but how were they going to do it? She wasn’t really hearing them. She locked herself in her mind and they didn’t know how they were going to get to her. “How?”

Vince and Leon were in the kitchen reading the pages that Mia had wrote. They couldn’t believe everything that Skyler did to her. They couldn’t believe that she survived as long as she did without going crazy. “He use to tie her up and allow her friends to rape her. She would lay there looking at the wall blocking them out as if this was another day. She wouldn’t cry unless she knew that she was alone. Most of the time she was never alone. She ran her garage and her brother kept trying to talk her into leaving him. He was the only one in her family that really cared about what happened to her he would always pop up at her house and stay for hours at a time. But when he left she would get really bad beatings. One day after he came over Skyler shot her in the chest. He then beat her until she lost a lot of blood. Then the last time he had a shot gun pointed to her head and she snapped she grabbed the gun and placed it on her forehead. “Do it. Let me die. I want to die. Kill me you fucking bastard!” But he out the gun down looked at her and laughed. “Why kill you when you are more useful to me alive?” Dom the reason I am telling you this now is so that we know what we are going into. What we have to over come to bring her back.”

Vince looked at Leon and shook his head. “She went through hell and came out alive. Now she has thrown herself back into hell. I don’t think we can get her out this time.”
