"We'll have to take Lord Beckett by surprise, my men. Gibbs - keep arms on the deck tonight and a watchful eye for Jone's. Load the cannon's just incase and only come for me if you see The Flying Dutchman, aye?"
"Aye aye, Captian."
Jack was still holding Olivia's frail body in his weak, tired arms as he searched for Will and Elizabeth. "You two take the captains chamber... the bed is bigger. I'll take Olivia to one of the smaller abodes." He assured, his exhaustion becoming more aparant on his features.
"Jack - you've been through a lot, you'll need your rest - take the masters chamber.."
"Just go and keep clear mind on a way to retrieve the heart from Beckett.." He assured, lifting Olivia up further in fear that he would surely drop her. "..and don't soil the lennins.."
With that said Jack turned towards the mast and made his way down into the bowels of the ship. There were a few larger rooms beyond the crews chambers that he thought would suit them for some well needed rest. Olivia stirred slightly in his arms but showed no sign of life except for the faint rise and fall of her breast and the quiet intake of her lungs. "Olivia, dear, what have I done to you.." Jack whispered, finding a fitting room he walked inside and laid her down on the bed.
After staring at her for a long moment he went to the storage room and returned with a thick woven blanket - aparently this ship was one of The Govenors select - he thought as he covered Olivia's body gently and went to his knees beside her bed. He folded his hands together and bowed his head - sighing at the thought of ever loosing her again. "I'm so sorry, Olivia.. for ever hurting you.. when you wake up I won't blame you for never speaking to me again but I just couldn't... I couldn't let that fate be yours. You deserve all the wonderful things in life - riches, treasures and a honest man who will do right by you.."
A sob of grief escaped his throat.
"..I want to be that man for you, Olivia.."
With that said, Jack pushed himself up from his knees and sat down in a small, uncomfortable chair beside the bed. A yawn escaped him as he closed his eyes just for a moment and tried to rest his frustrated mind. It would take more than he had to fight Lord Beckett and if they failed he would surely have them all hung. "Hung from the neck until death.." Jack muttered - remembering the phrase all to well. Perhaps he should just take Olivia to Singapore and leave everything he knew of being a pirate behind. They wouldn't have much - hell, they wouldn't have anything at all but they'd be together.
If she would have him.
Jack opened his eyes again at the thought. He was exhausted - mind body and soul and yet sleep wouldn't come. To many thoughts of what was to happen to him and Olivia or Will and Elizabeth. He didn't consider himself to be a good man but for some reason he couldn't allow anything to happen to the three people he cared most for. He sighed and shut his eyes again, silently praying for some release so he could get some rest and be alert once they got to Tortuga.
It was of no use.
"Bloody hell.."
"Jack?" Olivia gasped his name, sitting up quickly in the small bed. "Jack.." Her voice was soft and full of grief - she hadn't any idea where she was but she could hear someone breathing beside her. "Jack!"
Jack opened his eyes quickly and leapt to his feet - going to Olivia's side as she desperately tried to rid herself of the thick blanket he had placed on her. She seemed scared to death. "Olivia, darling - it's alright, everythin's alright, love.." She continued to kick and scream - crying loudly as if something was attacking her in the dark. "Jack! How has this happened.. where.. where am I?" She begged, clutching his arms in her grasp - pleading for him to tell her what was going on.
"Olivia, you're alright - I won't let anythin' happen to you just calm down. You're with me, now - in my ship.. were headed towards Tortuga.. or Singapore.. haven't decided yet.."
Olivia stared at him like she had seen a ghost - wide blue eyes full of fear and dispair. "You left me.." She cried, tears streaming down her face. "Everyone left me and I've been alone... so alone.." Jack crawled onto the small bed beside her and took Olivia into his arms - holding her tightly against his body as she was overwhelmed with grief. "It's been so dark and so cold.."
"It's alright, love. You're here now and nothing will harm you." He whispered, rocking her back and forth gently - the motion soothing her nerves as she began to calm down and take in deep, needed breaths. The last thing she remembered was crying herself to sleep one night and clutching her heart in pain - a pain she had never experienced before. Then she awoke in a dark, cold room and it felt like centuries had passed since she had last saw Jack. "You left me.." She repeated, memories of the past two months flooding back to her consious now.
Jack had left her - after everything they had been through - he chose the ocean instead of her; causing her heart to grow weak with grief and the pain of rejection. She had died, her spirit had left her body and she was stuck in purgatory because Jack was unable to let her go.
"I'm sorry, Olivia. I will never leave your side again - these few weeks without you have been hell.."
"..hell.." She whispered, pushing herself away from Jack quickly. "Hell?" She asked again - causing him to look up at her and gasp in horror as her once blue eyes now shown dark red, much like Tia Dalma's eariler that night when she brought Olivia back form the depths. "You know nothing of hell, Jack Sparrow! You toyed with my emotions for a decade - charming your way back into my life after you left me the first time to persue the life of a pirate!"
Jack lept from the bed and backed himself against the wall of the small room - glaring at Olivia in disbelief. In his suffering he hadn't thought of the concequences that might come with bringing someone back from the dead - expecailly someone who had died with such pain caused by him of all people. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!!" Olivia screamed, causing Jack to cover his ears and slide down to the slimey ship floor in fear.
~
Jack opened his eyes quickly and glanced around the room - noticing the empty bed to the left of him. Olivia was gone. Had everything been a dream? He was one to have eccentric dreams and perhaps Tia hadn't brought Olivia back to him after all. Perhaps he was still in the belly of The Kraken. He half hoped not for the latter because having to swim like that again wasn't in his power and he would surely die then try to face the mighty ocean twice.
"Olivia?"
She wasn't there.
On weary legs, Jack made his way to the deck of the ship, looking around each turn and corner for the woman he loved and feared at the same time. Surely it had been a dream - Tia really didn't have that much power. Did she? He sighed at the thought and continued up towards the mast - peeking his head out into the sunlight as he searched his surroundings. Will and Gibbs were standing at the helm - looking at a map and pointing towards their heading. Elizabeth Turner was nowhere to be seen.
"Jack! Welcome aboard, mate. I take it you had a deep and restful sleep last night, aye?" Gibbs asked - giving Jack the once over before returning to the task at hand. "Aye, you could say that.. um, where's your bonnie bell, lad? Haven't thrown her overboard yet, I hope?" Jack muttered towards Will - who was engrossed with the map in his hand.
They were several long miles away from Tortuga, aparently.
"'Lizabeth's talking with Olivia.. she woke early this morning and went in search for some answers as to why she was aboard this vessle and not signing with the angels in heaven, aye." Gibbs answered with a grin, "Told her that we'd send you her way once you were awake and able.."
"Aye." Jack muttered as Gibbs nodded towards the front of the ship - assuring him that's where he'd find his girl and Mrs. Turner. He thanked the two men and pulled himself up to the deck - making his way towards the two lovely women standing on the edge of the ships nose. "Always said it was bad luck to have a woman aboard.. now there's two of ya.."
Olivia turned around quickly - surprised to see Jack standing at the top of the steps with a worried grin on his face. "Jack!" She cried, running towards him quickly. He caught her in his arms and hugged her as if she would surely fade away. The thoughts of his perposterous dream leaving him as if it never happened. "Olivia, love. I've missed you.." He whispered, taking in a deep breath of her hair. "You haven't any idea how badly I've missed you," He repeated, holding her at arms length to get a good look at her. "..and I'll never leave you again. You have my word.."
"Oh, Jack.."
Elizabeth smiled at the couple.
Olivia had been quiet shaken this morning when she awoke on the swaying ship but luckily Elizabeth was awake - unable to sleep at the thought of sending Jack to the depths and into The Kraken. She was surprised to see her and yet thankful that she wasn't alone. They talked and Elizabeth tried to explain to her what exactly had happened and how Jack had spent the past month trying his damndest to bring her back to them. Olivia hadn't quiet known what to think of the situation but she was glad to see Jack, at least. Even though he had caused all of her troubles she still loved that man.
A sudden surge of pain shot through Olivia's temple - sending her crumbling into Jack's arms as she cried out and held her head. "My head.." She assured quietly, closing her eyes tight as waves and waves of pressure passed through her temple. "Come then, let's get you off your feet, love. You need to rest.." Jack muttered, worried that something was terribly wrong with her. "Gibbs! Haul anchor and make way towards the first isle you see.. we may need a doctor.."
Gibbs took his order and yelled a few words at the crew - idly watching as Jack helped Olivia into the captians chamber and closed the door behind him. Even though she hadn't shown any sign of wickedness he didn't half trust Tia Dalma's witchcraft and something just didn't sit right with him when it came to Olivia's reincarnated self.
~
"'Livia, dear. Do you remember anything about last night?"
Olivia looked up from her clasped hands slowly, a confused expression on her face. "No? I didn't wake until early this morning and you were sleeping like a baby.." She assured, nodding towards the chair beside the bed. "I tried to wake you but it seemed you'd been through just as much as I had yesterday so I went in search for someone else on the ship and luckily found Elizabeth and something to eat."
"Ah," Jack smiled at the thought. Just a dream, luckily. "Well, you should have woke me. I was worried that something was the matter with you.. seeing how the situation took place."
"What exactly happened, Jack? The last thing I remember I was on a beach - lying in the sun without a worry in the world. I don't think it was heaven but it definitely wasn't hell." Jack swallowed hard, he wasn't sure what had happened but that he had angered Tia Dalma and she did some sort of spell that had brought Olivia back to him. What if it was just in fact a spell and not a permanent thing? The thought nearly killed him inside. He couldn't be without her - no matter what.
They had to find the heart of Davy Jones and fast.
"I'm not sure, love. An.. acquaintance of mine has some special powers and she brought you back from.. wherever you were. I came in search for you a few weeks after leaving - I couldn't be without you but Elizabeth informed me that you were.. gone. I had to find a way to bring you back to me, Olivia. I'm in love with you.."
"Jack.. I'm not so sure now. You've left twice. I feel fine beside this terrible headache but I don't know if I can take it a third time. I love you too but it hurts so badly when you leave."
Jack went towards her quickly, holding her hands in his.
"I will never leave your side ever again, Olivia. I want to be a better man.. I want to be everything you need and if that means laying the pirate life behind then so be it."
Olivia smiled at the thought - opening her mouth to say something only to have another jolt of pain pass through her head. She closed her eyes tightly again and cried out, holding the side of her face as if something was trying to burst out of her brain. "Jack.. I don't understand what's happening.. I've never had a headache quite like this before.." She whimpered, still trying to fight off the pain that dwelled behind her eyes. "You don't think it has something to do with me being back, do you?"
Jack was speechless. Perhaps Tia Dalma could answer that question and tell him what he needed to do to make the headache's stop for Olivia. If it meant summoning Davy Jone's himself and giving his soul for her wellbeing he would do it. Anything for the woman he loved.
"Perhaps Tia could be of assistance since she's the one who brought you back, love. Let me go fetch her, okay? I'll be right back."
Olivia nodded slowly, closing her eyes again in pain. "..hurry..."
~
Jack half fell down the stairs as he rushed Tia past the crewmen's chambers and into Olivia's room. "She's been having mind numbing headaches all day, love. Have you ever heard of such thing happening after.. you know.." His hands were doing most of the talking - jerking about as he nervously tried to explain what was happening to Olivia.
"Aye, you should know dat dis isn't some'tin I be doing a lot now, Jack. Barbossa was de first person I brought back in over ten years. He didn't seem to have no problem like dis dough - just tired and needin his rest."
Jack stroked his beard, listening to what Tia had to say. Hopefully all Olivia needed was some rest - a lot of relaxing rest.” Aye, however Barbossa didn't die in da terms like Ms. Olivia. She heart broke, Jack - maybe day be no comin' back from a fate like dat. I don't know."
"Can't you take a look at her or something? Just see if she's going to be alright."
Tia smiled and nodded her head as Jack ushered her inside of the small room and she looked at Olivia. The poor girl was lying with her back to them, curled up in a ball with her hands on her head.
"Now girl, turn around 'er and let me take a look at ya. Tia gonna try ta make it better.."
Olivia rolled over slowly - keeping her eyes closed. "It hurts..." She whispered, clutching her heart with one hand and her head with the other. "Jack why... why did you leave me.." Jack looked over Tia's shoulder - not sure what was happening. "I'm right here, love. I won't leave you.."
"It's to late.. to late.."
Her voice was changing now - deeper, more seductive and her eyes - as they opened the glow was like crimson and her mouth turned into a deceptive sneer.
"It's to late, Jack Sparrow. You were spared the fate of a woman scorned but you brought her back and my wrath as well!" Olivia assured, sitting up in the bed. Her eyes were like bright ruby's - staring into Jack's very soul. "You do love the girl.." She whispered softly, "..won't help you now though. I'll be seeing you, Jack. Keep a weathered eye.."
Tia placed her hand on Jack as Olivia disappeared before them - vanishing in a small wind storm.
"Hell hath no fury.." Tia murmured quietly - a little shaken herself which couldn't be a good thing. "What was that?" Jack demanded angrily - something had taken over Olivia's body. This wasn't supposed to be happening - he was going to take her to Singapore and have babies and be a, "..good man.."
"You don't know da story of Calypso da Sea Goddess. Her wrath lie in da fury of all woman scorned. Some say she died as a result of her own grief and is reborn into a woman brought back from the depths when it isn't meant to be. Seems you didn't tink of your actions first, Jack Sparrow and now you've unleashed hell on earth.."
Jack looked at Tia in all seriousness, "We should go warn the crew.."
