Chapter 4
Chapter 4.
The whole crew gathered downstairs, all set for dinner. It had been a long day and several of the crew members were starving to death. Gibbs drove in the trolley packed with foodstuff. He noticed that everyone had seated down beside the table, everyone expect Jack. He narrowed his eyes in confusion and looked straight at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth nervously stood up and strode off towards the stairs.
“Elizabeth.” She heard Will from behind. “Where are you going?”
Elizabeth turned around to face him. “I will be right back. Just need some fresh air.” She affirmed before swiftly disappearing out in the blue.
Will leaned back in his chair with a suspicious expression spread over his features. He was too certain that needing some fresh air had nothing to do with it but surprisingly he could not bring himself to object. He did not want Elizabeth to think that he was doubting her trust.

Captain Sparrow was standing ahead of the wheel, drowned in his own thoughts. He was left alone in the stormy weather, after everyone had decided to head downstairs. He could care less about his crew not taking the time to bother but when it came to one certain person, tenderness was filled up his veins.
Not that this was enough. He also had to put up with the fact that she hated him, when he earlier came to hear those words coming out of her mouth while she was still talking to Will. It made his heart ache in levels of pain he had never imagined.
Jack cleared his throat.
“Are you going to stand out here all night?” He heard a voice whisper in the wind.
He abruptly turned around to face…. her. A grin spread over his face and he turned his back to the wheel again. Pretending not to take care for her sudden appearance.
Elizabeth sighed. “Why Jack?” She asked. “Why are you so damn stubborn?”
Jack tried not to laugh at her. “Speak for yourself darling.” He murmured in amusement.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. “Why do we have to make things so difficult, Jack. We both know it would be much simpler just to face the truth.” She whispered.
Jack lowered his eyes. “What truths are you talking about?”
Elizabeth took a step further towards him, so they now stood face to face.
“I don’t quiet understand, Love. Enlighten me, will ya.” He continued, challenging her.
Elizabeth shook her head in disbelief. “Which direction are you aiming, Captain?” She said, taking another step towards him. Without any further warning, she reached up her hand and gently began to caress his jaw line with her thumb.
Jack closed his eyes as his lungs suck in for air. Is she playing with me again? “I’m just following my compass.” He replied, soullessly, hiding the fact that she had an affect on him.
Elizabeth froze when he said the word compass, knowing what had happened last time. “And that would be, exactly?” She whispered.
Jack pulled out the compass and passed it over to her. “Open it.” He told her. But Elizabeth refused. She shook her head and gave it back to him, being already aware of where it was going to point and she did not want him to find out.
“I don’t need a compass to tell me what I want, Sparrow.” She stated somewhat irritated. Jack wondered why.
“Well darling, it happens times when you’re not quite sure what’s that you want. That’s what the compass is for. To clear it up to you, in case you’re doubting anything.” Jack spoke matter-of-factly.
Elizabeth could feel her heart beating faster but tried to stay as calm as possible. It appeared like he knew something, that or maybe he was he just playing with her. Anger began to grow upon her features. “I know perfectly well what I want Jack, unlike you.” She growled.
“I-” Jack was about to protest but Elizabeth cut him off. “I asked you a question and you still haven’t answered it!” She interrupted.
“Now, tell me, Love. Why so curious about what ole’ Jack wants. As far as I know, it’s none of your business.” He grinned at her.
Elizabeth started backing away from him. “I hate you!” She whispered angrily.
Jack offered her a sad smile. “I’m already aware of that darling.”
Elizabeth could feel her eyes tearing up as she saw his smile quickly fading away. “Jack… I’m sorry.”
“For what? Hating me or sorry for killing me?” He asked her a simple question yet it seemed complex.
Elizabeth wanted to hate him. Really, truly wanted to hate him. But she just could not bring herself to that stage. She thought by getting rid of him, she would get rid of her feelings for him but that did not go as planned. Oppositely her feelings for him grew stronger and she was falling for him
“For everything. You did not deserve the fate I gave you.”
Jack did not response back, which made Elizabeth think he’d still not forgiven her completely yet. She sighed and brushed a finger over his bottom lip, almost parting his lips. She could feel the wet of his mouth on her finger as she kept stroking. The feeling was quite sensual and she could feel herself getting turned on. Jack let her dip her finger inside his mouth as his tongue twitched over it. She then pulled it out and it was just talk about splits seconds before their lips finally met.
They kissed for the longest time yet the shortest moment, only breaking apart for oxygen.
“Elizabeth..” He whispered against her lips, feeling himself shiver to her touch. He gently brushed his lips over hers again and pulled her into another passionate kiss.
The wind blew harder against their skin as they were captured in their own moment, heating up. Jack took the opportunity to snake his arm down her long legs, grabbing them and pulling them upwards himself as Elizabeth tried to wrap herself around him.
Feeling quite hot and bothered, Jack found himself grabbing the hem of her shirt and slipping his hand inside. Elizabeth could feel herself shiver to his touch and did not protest. She wanted him to take her, right there and then.
But as always something had to interrupt.
“Captain” They heard Gibbs yell from below deck. Jack sighed and broke away from their embrace.
“We will continue this after dinner, in my cabin.” He assured her.
Jack told Cotton to man the helm as he was set to eat dinner.
