Confessions

"I'm sorry," I said after we were finally out of the double doors, away and out of earshot from the rest of the guys. "I never intended on going to the pool. I was actually going to go for a walk." I looked up at him with sad, pleading eyes. He wasn't Johnny, but I could tell Bam actually cared about me; he would do perfectly in my time of need.

"Are you okay?" Bam asked, ringlets of short, dark hair sticking out from beneath his hood, and eyes traced with liner that made the blue stand out like diamonds buried in a sea of coal.

"Can I ask you a question?" I began, my insides bursting to know his opinion. A smile was forced upon my face as he pulled me closer to him. It was nice to know that someone cared, and it was nice to have a pair of arms to hold me.

"Anything." Bam simply replied, leading me in a direction completely opposite of the pool or anyone we knew, ostracizing us from the bar and almost all traces of humankind.

"I have this friend..." I said wearily, doubting that he'd believe me, and with a quick glance to the side and a set of unbelieving eyes, he proved me right. "I have this friend," I continued, hoping he wouldn't ask too many questions. "Who really liked this guy, right?" Bam nodded. "So this guy came over to her, um, apartment, one night and got drunk with her."

Bam's head tilted once more, letting me know that he understood but not having to say it. "Proceed." He pushed, not exactly anxious to hear more, but listening.
"Well this guy kissed my friend out of no where, and she got scared and told him to leave."

We were getting onto the elevator now. To go where, I did not know, but Bam took the liberty upon himself to press the button for floor thirteen. "So he started yelling at her, telling her how much he liked her and everything like that..."

Bam looked at me with squinted eyes, putting a hand over his mouth and faking a yawn. "Is there a point to this story?" He asked, inner asshole taking over.
I sighed, crossing my arms and following him into the deserted hallway of the thirteenth floor. "Long story short is she slept with him, and the next day he completely ignored her."

Bam laughed and grabbed onto my hand, making sure to knock a few rolls of toilet paper off of the maids cart as we walked past. "Ah, that old trick; it's one of my favorites."
"What old trick?" I asked, more curious now than before.

Bam stopped in the middle of the hallway and looked at me blankly, like I were an idiot for having no idea what he was talking about. "You don't know the trick that men use to get women to fuck them?"
"Trick?!" The frustration levels in me had begun to rise rapidly. Never would I have imagined that Johnny would sink so low as to trick me into sleeping with him. "What trick!?"

Bam laughed, putting a fingerless black glove against the side of my face before saying "Men will say anything to get a woman to open her legs."
My mouth sprung open with an instant gasp. "He would never do that to m-," I stopped before I got the chance to dig myself an even bigger hole. "My friend."

Quickly, I began walking down the hallway again, my eyes not adverting from my feet. I felt embarrassed and worst of all, I felt used. "Angel!" Bam called, chasing me down, he stopped me with a mere couple of fingers dug into the back of my shoulder.

"Don't you dare call me that!" I scolded him, remembering that Johnny was the one who made that nickname up, I quickly used my hand to knock his arm away from me. "My name is Angela."
"Yeah," Bam turned me to face him, putting both hands on my shoulders to make sure that I stayed put. "But you'll always be beautiful to me."

I could feel tears starting to sting the back of my eyes. Whether it was due to the fact that I was upset my life had gone down hill over night, or I was happy because Bam was being such a sweetheart, I did not know. "Oh my god," I couldn't help but smile as I wiped a stream of hot salty tears from my eyes. "Shut up."

Bam wrapped himself around me and gave me a hug, letting me rest in his arms while tears flowed from my tired eyes. "You know, this is awfully unprofessional of you." He said, lifting my chin and wiping away water with the back of his gloved hand.

I tried to stifle a laugh but couldn't. If there was anyone who could cheer me up, it was Bam. "What should I do?" I said in a near whisper, not wanting to seek help from him, but knowing I had no other choice.
"You mean, what should your friend do?" Bam smiled, knowing he'd caught me in my blatant lie.

I nodded, not able or wanting to confess to him verbally. Bam grabbed me by the cheeks again, although this time he didn't squeeze to give me the fish lips. "You should find someone who is worth your time." He replied, and then pulled me close, placing his lips on mine and taking me completely by surprise.

We kissed until a maid came out of the room next to us and interrupted, clearing her throat loudly and then staring as she pushed her cart past. "Bitch." Bam mumbled, staring her down as she went.
Laughing, I continued to walk, turning around and heading back towards the elevators. I had forgotten to pack, and our flight would be leaving in only a few hours.

"Are you mad at me?" Bam asked, hurrying to get into the elevator before the door closed on him.
"No, why?" I replied, leaning against the wall after pressing the button to our floor.
"Because of what I did." He shrugged, biting down onto the black nail of his pointer finger.

"You're complicating things." I told him honestly, not wanting him to toy with my emotions. "Do you even like me?"
"You know the answer to that," Bam replied, not looking at me, but up towards the lights that shone what floor we were approaching. "But then again, which of us doesn't?"

"Don't do that to me." I told him, feeling bombarded and stressed again. "I'm having a hard enough time choosing between two of you. Let alone all of you."
"Jeff likes you." Bam said, scooting towards me with an evil smirk on his face. The light above the door shone the number nine, and I was happy that we would soon be approaching our floor.

"Stop it." I fought.
"Ryan likes you." He proceeded despite my helpless pleas.
"Stop it!"
"I like you." Bam was in front of me now, pinning me against the walls and making a growling sound as he bit onto my neck.

The attention I was receiving from him felt more than good, and I didn't have it in me to put a stop to it. A bell chimed somewhere in the distance but I thought nothing of it, all I could concentrate on was Bam and what he was making me feel.

"Ahem!" Was the first thing other than Bam that I paid attention to. Another interruption. When my eyes jerked open I found Preston, Wee Man and Ryan standing in the doorway; soaking wet with water from the pool; they dripped it all over the floor in front of us.

Bam unlatched himself from my neck and spun around abruptly. I pushed him aside and ran past them, once again embarrassed to be stuck in another one of these awkward situations I just couldn't help but get myself into. The last thing I wanted were these men that I worked for to see me in a vulnerable, compromising position. I had already done enough damage in that area with not only Johnny, but Bam as well.

"Angela, wait!" Bam called, running out of the elevator to chase after me.
"What do you want, Bam?" I replied angrily, walking briskly to my hotel room's door and searching my pockets frantically to find the key.
"Who did you sleep with?" He asked, rather rude and unmercifully.

I had a hunch that he would ask me that. Luckily my jittery hands had finally landed upon the key and I replied, "Good bye, Bam." before quickly entering my room, and closing the door in his face.
